I am still waiting for response and …

I am still waiting for response and refund on new casters for my Chesterfield that they couldn't provide. Why is it so hard to deal with them I get promise after promise that someone will deal this issue and refund but nothing happens
I waited for 6 months to get my Chesterfield
and now months to get refund for broken casters
I don't suggest doing business with this company

I would strongly urge you not to purchase furniture from this company. I purchased a dining set, coffee table and an end table back in July of 2013. All together was well over $5000. I inquired additional shipping charges before I could actually receive the furniture and coffee table and end table were damaged. I also purchased insurance in case my furniture was damaged but that did not help as Denis never insured the furniture in the first place and kept the money for himself. It’s been well over a year now and I still did not receive the replacements or my money back. This company is committing fraud, talking money from its customers, never insuring shipping, and does not replace broken furniture. If you still decided that you want to purchase from this company I would strongly urge you to make purchases with you credit card and file a dispute with your credit card company until you receive your goods in one piece. If you do not received your furniture within 60 days, take your money from the Credit Card Company and run. Don't believe anything Denis tells you and yes he is very persuasive promising everything but nothing ever pans out. He has been stringing me along for a year and a half and I am still stuck with broken furniture and no refund

Unacceptable Delivery Service; Good product though

I have selected two stars because for the delivery of a £500+ side table, I had to call the customer service every 2-3 days over 3-4 weeks it took, primarily because the customer service didn't have any idea where the shipment was at any point and also about any expected delivery said.
The good thing is atleast there was always someone to pick up the phone to talk, but they were clueless about the delivery status or date/time and I was told that once items leave their warehouse, it was upto the delivery company to contact customers to arrange delivery, and there was nothing Basic Elegance could do. Really, they pay a delivery company to handle their expensive, delicate furniture and don't even have a number to call and check the status? Unbelieveable
Other than that, I am happy with the product which is a marble top side table, which is sturdy and looks very beautiful.
