A real shame about the misleading adverts they send out. Had my bins cleaned and although the bin was clean, I had a promo through the door to recommend people and get an Amazon voucher for each recommendation.

So, I spent the time to send to a few people, all of which signed up and used them (all of them told BCC-WCC my details and the advisor confirmed at the time that I would be contacted by the manager to receive my vouchers).

I heard nothing for weeks, so I contacted them to be told they were not eligible customers so I would not be receiving anything. Comlpete rubbish and a lack of trust has now made me not want to use them again. I have also passed this on to those people I had recommended to, who have said they will be cancelling their service too.

We signed up with BCC-WCC in April 2023 for our 3 wheelie bins to be cleaned. Initially the service was great - they were reliable and the bins were cleaned well. In April 2024, our Council changed the day of the garden bin collection, so I was told BCC-WCC could no longer clean the brown bin. They refunded me the cost, so that was fair enough; even though the brown bin is often more dirty than the others. From that month on, we have been let down several times and the cleans have definitely not been as thorough. Although I appreciate they get failures with their machines or staff sickness, there is no excuse for not cleaning the bins properly when they do turn up. I was told after the last clean that the Operations Manager had been made aware of the bins not being cleaned properly and it had been logged to avoid it happening again. Then, last week, they emailed me at 1:20pm on the day of the clean to inform me that they wouldn’t be able to come out because a staff member had phoned in sick. I have now cancelled the service altogether and been informed that they “don’t give out any refunds”. I know this is incorrect because they managed to issue a refund last year when they couldn’t clean the brown bin any longer. On 28th March 2025, I paid for a year’s worth of cleaning 2 bins and now we are in July and they have only cleaned the bins twice in that time. The 2 stars I have given are for the service provided in the first year.

BCC clean our bins regularly, providing a great service. Therefore, when our gutters and conservatory roof needed cleaning, we approached them. That was three years ago, and we would never use anyone else now. The team are always friendly, polite and efficient, and the end result is excellent.

I have been using BCC-WCC for a couple of months now for wheelie bin cleaning. We have to leave our bins at the front of the house, which makes the whole of the front of the house a bit smelly if they're not clean. BCC-WCC do a great job... good communication before the days they are coming, they have been very reliable, and they do a great job on the cleaning!
