Wonderful Service.

I have just attended BCF at Tuggerah NSW, with my husband, who has dementia. We were there,to buy a small camping chair for him. The staff members who attended us, Georgia and one other were extremely helpful and very patient when showing him how to use the Darche chair .It made what could have been a difficult shopping trip so much easier. Thankyou ladies!!Much appreciated!

Bayswater and Rosebud BCF

Bayswater and Rosebud BCF

Both places the most unhelpful staff imaginable. No interest in a legitimate issue with a SUP purchased at the Bayswater store. Sold me an adapter that doesn’t connect with a service station air pump. Even though assistant manager was extremely confident it would. After being asked 3 times. Can’t wait to return to the store to say hi.

I give up!

I have just tried to order a gift card for my brother in Australia, I have just spent the best part of an hour trying to do so.

I have never had a website be so slow & so troublesome in my life, I gave up, your loss BCF, you just lost out on B $400!

Living in Port Macquarie

Living in Port Macquarie , I normally bought my rods from a local fishing% bait shop, but I had an experience with a Samaki reel and a Rod combo in which the tip snapped off when reeling in a 30cm flathead. I took it back and they said they would follow up with Samaki, after 4 calls and 7 weeks later Ive given up buying from them.

The difference with BCF, is that I had an issue with a reel after 3 months of use, they straightaway gave me a brand new and gave me a discount on a upgraded reel.

Just last week I snapped the tip off my Ugly stick and again, I was happy to have it repaired but again they gave me a new Rod without question. Guys in Port Macquarie BCF are awesome and go out of their way to help 10 stars review guys.

NO EMAIL CONTACT

This huge corporation does not even list a contact form or email address on their website. Also I noticed some of their employees have mental illness issues. Another issue I found is some of their products are defective and dangerous + especially if it fails in a remote region far from emergency rescue. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE + Failing to take responsibility for customer feedback is a major red flag.

Re: BCF's Box Hill lack lustre customer service and product knowledge!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the appalling customer service I received at the BCF store in Box Hill today, Sunday August 31st 2025. Having read customer complaints regarding BCF's extremely poor customer service, I guess I'm not alone!

This afternoon, my wife and I visited the store to refill a gas bottle originally purchased from Bunnings. This same bottle has been refilled at your store on at least three previous occasions without issue. However, on this occasion, the junior sales assistant behind the counter claimed the bottle had no date and refused to refill it.

I explained clearly that the bottle does in fact have a valid inspection date and has been refilled by your store before. Despite this, she doubled down without any real knowledge and called over a more senior staff member. To my disbelief, he repeated the same baseless claim. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, an older gentleman raised his voice and repeated the same inaccurate explanation, flatly refusing service.

After having driven half an hour to reach the store, the situation left me infuriated. Despite my attempts to reason with staff, their continued refusal and dismissive behaviour escalated the situation further. I eventually lost my temper and stormed out of the store in sheer frustration. I regret that my reaction was over the top and was not more composed, but the handling of the matter was utterly unacceptable.

How can a store licensed to refill LPG gas bottles fail to recognise the clearly metal-stamped manufacture date on a tank?

Fortunately, Anaconda Box Hill resolved the issue within minutes. Their staff not only refilled the bottle but also demonstrated where and how the expiry date is calculated via the tank manufacture date. They were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous — everything your staff were not. I would recommend anyone needing a refill bypass BCF Box Hill entirely and instead take the short detour to Anaconda.

After this disgraceful experience, I am seriously reconsidering ever entering another BCF store. The staff at Box Hill displayed incompetence, immaturity, and a complete lack of professionalism. I have attached a photo of the bottle showing the manufacture date of Dec 21 showing its validity until 2031 as proof of my claim.

Terrible if Online Purchase

This company provided one of the worst online experiences I have had.
I made a simple typo error on my address, BCF claimed they were unable to fix the issue and as a result the item was delivered to the wrong address.
Supergroup need to learn about customer service.
Terrible experience.

What a mess this company is

What a mess this company is. They take your order and your money, send you a confirmation of order email. Then later they send you an email to come collect your order, then when I called up to organise the collection they tell you it’s not in stock. What a waste of time! Now I’m just supposed to wait for a refund, which no doubt I’ll have to chase up when it doesn’t come through.

Really disappointing first experience

Really disappointing first experience. Signed up to the $20 intro voucher and was 2 days late for my qualifying purchase. Contacted customer service to see if they’d offer a goodwill exception but it was a computer says no scenario.

It baffles me why companies operate like this - now I have a sour taste about the whole transaction, resulting in a negative view and extremely unlikely I’ll shop there again.

BCF are false advertising

BCF are false advertising expected delivery dates on their website. I paid extra for express delivery, the order hadn't even left their factory by the date it was supposed to arrive. Highly unethical, they should be fined for deliberately misleading customers.

Cannot unsubscribe 1 or 2…

Have been getting notifications 1 or 2 a day on phone and there is no way to unsubscribe which I find appalling. Now no membership but still notifications. About 2 hours of my time and 45 miss of staff. WILL NEVER DARKEN YOUR DOORSTEP AGAIN. THIS FEELS LIKE ENTRAPMENT. GREG LANE

Excellent service

Required a load of camping gear for child going on a trek. Long list of requirements. Mitch provided me with amazing info and helped collect all required items. A very pleasant,stress free experience. Thanks Mitch!

BCF bad service and products

Don’t shop here. I bought a $600 generator that worked once and left us in the dark with no power. I took it back to Rockingham WA store, the person in charge was very rude. I told him consumers protection had said if the item purchased was not fit for the purpose it was bought for I was entitled to a refund. Not from BCF apparently
