Hi, and many thanks for all reviews as I was just about to subscribe but, based on all comments on this web site, I definitely changed my mind.
For those of you who would like to proceed with further actions, please not that company which is behind both Academicsingles, be2 and Singles50 is registered in Luxembourg with following details:

I share others view sadly ... they reel you in via ads on newspaper sites with promise of £7.99 for six month... they then debit £191 upfront so £7.99 per week.

They advise you can cancel within 10 days but then say as you’ve used the service they will only cancel after your initial term of six months .... so won’t return your money.

All of this contravenes distance selling cancellation and refund rights and is sadly sharp practice.

Yet another sour taste of this industry!

Same problem as everyone.
They debited more than they said they would.
It is almost impossible to cancel despite their promises - there is no link; you cannot cancel via iTunes; you have to fax very specific information to Luxembourg.
The customer service is almost non-existent. Automated responses that are completely irrelevant.

SCAM! They have taken money from my account twice without my authorisation, after the first time I sent an email asking to cancel and hello 6months later they are trying to debt collect for another 6months all emails just get automatic replies stating the same as the first

this is a scam they take payments beyond the agreed months you sign up for I paid for 3 months at a cost of 119.00 and after that 3months expired they then took another 3 months payment for even more 131.70 do not sign up to this scam please cancel my subscription asap

These money hungry scammers took damn near $300 out of my account after I thought I was paying $12 for a 6 month Premium Membership. What is up with that?! Biggest mistake in my life!

Very hard to deactivate premium-membership and unprofessional support. got a scam feeling.

I have done the exact same thing that someone else has just recorded. Believed I was signing up for £7.99 and they took £191.76 from my account. There is no contact number or anyway to contact this organisation. The person who had the email address if you see review this can you put the email address on here, as I have been unable to find any means of contacting them.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!!!This website is very misleading. States a payment of 7.99 but yet I had £191 taken from my account. Emailed them right away to ask for refund. I am still waiting. 4 emails sent and still no reply. I will be taking this further.

What a SCAM. Unreal people and T cancelled my account but they keep taking money out. T am reporting them to the authorities. Tipical false dateing site.

firstly it doesn't deserve a rating,pressed that by accident.........like others here I didn't even sign up to it,i signed up to match.com(is it a parent company?),but instantly I was also signed up to it......cant get the crazy form I need to sign and fax to them from the site,does it exist?...I may have to go and cancel my bank card if I cant solve this...and I suppose if I go down that road I will be receiving nasty emails/threats?....its a criminal that this is allowed at this day and age... Can ye as a company put pressure on them to contact me?or will I have to hope this form magically appears??

scam scam scam. do not use this site. Terrible in communication if you have a problem, loop holes throughout their site, can not deactivate your membership, can not access your subscription and membership details, have no control over your membership, subscription is easy to start but you get charged a huge fee 1 month later without substantiating the transaction. fraudulent and corrupt. tells you to 'send a fax' to unsubscribe!! click 'here' to deactivate and then with NO links!!!! pages that click and go back to the original inquiry page to not progress through the help pages!!

Be very careful with this page, I subscribed last week, the membership was a very convenient price so I decided to pay, they deducted an insane amount from my account , the terms are not clear at all and the total amount is never visible when you are paying and they take advantage of it. I sent messages to customer service requesting the refund of the amount and specially when I did it the same day a few hours after they took the money and they just reply confirming the deduction but no word about the refund, found several email addresses including here to trustpilot requesting to fix the issue but I have not received any answer.
Total scam.

Have tried multiple times to contact be2 on several different emails, no reply what so ever! I just want the damn account deleted and money to stop be taken out of my account 😓

They keep taking money out of my PayPal account I have tried to cancel but no response I will be going to the authorities do not go any where near these guys fraud fraud fraud

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM I HAVE REPORTED TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY ONLINE. ACCC SCAM WATCH. I SUGGEST OTHERS TO DO THE SAME TO STOP THESE CRIMMINALS. THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH THIS DUE TO THEIR WORDING IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS. I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING INTO OTHER OPTIONS. MAYBE GETTING US ALL TOGETHER TO MAKE A STAND.
