Large beds do not fit in washing machine

The bed is fine, my Labrador sleeps in it happily. However, on social media you say the large bed can be washed in a washing machine- It can’t, it’s too big even for a larger capacity machine so I feel you shouldn’t be saying all beds can fit in a washing machine. It’s a shame the cover isn’t removable. I’ve taken it to a launderette but if I had known it wouldn’t fit in a standard machine I wouldn’t have bought it.

Great dog bed

Great dog bed - my dog loves it. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was an over-ambitious delivery time stated over Christmas. It would be better if they were more realistic about delivery times at peak periods of the year.

DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM THIS COMPANY. READ THIS IF YOU'RE THINKING OF USING THIS COMPANY...I ordered a dog bed in Green. The acknowledgement email came and said I had ordered Grey!. I immediately sent a message to 'Customer service' to rectify this. The email came bouncing back to me as a message thus: 'You cannot change orders...Contact customer service at.....'. when I did this the message came bouncing back to me to 'You cannot change orders...contact customer service at..'.....And so on and so on. I did this 6 times, GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES, until it became obvious I was dealing with an AI bot of some sort which allows NO CONTACT. 3 days later I received a message telling me it was too late to change the order as it was with the courier. I checked Royal Mail and they do not have it.
BEWARE THIS SHOWER HAVE NO CONTACT NUMBER AND DO NOT ANSWER QUERIES. NOT BASED IN UK I BELIEVE.

Quick and speedy delivery but…

Quick and speedy delivery but disappointing quality not even a bella and toby label, nothing special at all. My border collie treats it no differently to the teddy bedding. I wish I had kept my much needed money.

Very very poor customer service and no communication

I placed one order for two beds, but realised I had chosen the wrong colour. Tried to cancel the first but they apparently don't do cancellations which is totally ridiculous when returning BEFORE the order has been properly created.
Ordered the second order of the right colours.
One order arrived and then part of the second order arrived.
I decided to keep both of the larger beds and to be fair, the dogs do like them so asked for the smaller ones to be returned.

I have sent 4 emails setting everything out and including photos as requested and today I have received the second smaller bed that didn't even need to have been shipped in the first place. I did receive one reply from them, which only said that the second order would be fulfilled once the item was back in stock (there was no mention of it being out of stock when I placed the order) which totally missed the point of what I was asking. I replied with copies of my earlier emails but have heard nothing since.

So now I have two beds to return, no idea of whether or not I will receive a refund, despite asking for this immediately. I will be contacting Barclaycard for a return of payment because I can't get anything out of Bella & Toby.

My advice? the beds are nice but be absolutely certain what you want when you order or you will be stuck with them, but the dogs will be happy.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Wish I’d read the other bad reviews before I spent £60 on a dog bed.
Their customer service is a AI who can’t even give you a telephone number to contact. The AI can’t confirm when my order will be dispatched and the support email just tells me to get the answer from their AI customer.

Warning….Don’t use this company…they…

Warning….Don’t use this company…they take your order and money straightaway and do not have stock….
Having chased updates and no response ( they do send you pointless marketing emails though ) they
have now after 11 days told me they have no stock but have not yet refunded my money. Wouldn’t touch them ever again…..will be onto my bank unless a refund appears in next few days.

Do not buy anything from this Company.

Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered a dog bed, I should have followed my own advice and not responded to adverts on Facebook.

Ordered a dog bed 48 hour delivery and not even showing despatched, have a tracking number but that hasn't been collected either. All you can speak to is a robot on customer services that repeatedly says to contact customer care, and customer care revert you back to the robot. Have reported to my Bank,

Terrible company

Terrible company. I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering. Ordered a dog bed on 25th November it’s now 16th of December and it hasn’t arrived. The company are impossible to get hold of no contact numbers and don’t respond to emails.

Placed order with next day delivery. 1 week later still waiting!

Placed order for a dog bed and paid for next day delivery. Nothing has arrived and despite emailing & using contact us on their site have heard nothing. Status says not shipped! It's Christmas and nobody needs to be chasing companies that have no telephone number and dont respond via their stated routes of communication. Would not recommend this company at all

I purchased a Bella&Toby™ Calming Dog…

I purchased a Bella&Toby™ Calming Dog Bed on the 13th September 2024 for a total of £63.30 (incl postage).
A few weeks ago I noticed that the filling was coming out of a split in the seam and all the thread was loose.
I contacted customer service on the 10th December with pictures of the fault asking for a repair, replacement or refund and was told:
Thank you for contacting our customer service! My name is Vittoria, and I'll help you with your enquiry.
I'm extremely sorry to hear the bed has been damaged and does not reflect the quality standards you were expecting from Bella&Toby.
Our beds are very resistant as they are made of durable materials, but unfortunately, sometimes, with dogs constantly laying on them, it might cause the internal padding to flatten slightly with time or the material to deteriorate faster than expected.
Unfortunately, as you completed the order on September 19th and received it more than 30 days ago, I'm now unable to offer you a refund or replacement bed according to our 30-day money-back guarantee policy.
However, I'm happy to offer you a 25% discount should you wish to purchase a new bed with us, or we will be happy to offer you, on this occasion only, a complementary 10% refund for the order you previously completed.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any additional questions :)
I then emailed explaining that the bed was damaged and of poor quality and should be replaced and explained that if an item breaks I have the right to ask them to repair or replace (Consumer Rights Act 2015). If this doesn't happen I can claim a refund.
According to the rules goods should be “fit for the purpose they are supplied for”. It is quite clear that this dog bed is not fit for purpose.
I have received another reply exactly the same as the first, offering only 25% discount on a new bed!
After only lasting 3 months I do not want a new bed and am getting nowhere with customer service, as I think these are automated replies.
Poor quality and even poorer customer service. Do not buy from this company.

Great dog bed

I bought the bed to provide a calming and cosy experience for my boy. He jumped straight in and nestled into the furry cover. The minute he got out of it, my other dog took over and quickly decided it was hers! Both dogs find it comforting - exactly what I was after. It’s well made and was delivered promptly. Good communication from the company.

Fabulous

These beds are amazing I bought for our old rescue dog but it kept getting nicked by one of the other dogs so I bought her one as well. They seem very well made, the service was very good and the dogs love them

Have ordered a dog bed received a…

Have ordered a dog bed received a message saying out of stock and did I want a different colour which I replied to.
No answer from customer service, no way of contacting them except through their support email address which they have ignored so far. Will be contacting card company to bounce the charge back to them. Their customer service is appalling. I suspect they will read this and then miraculously they regain the ability to answer emails about orders.

Bought two xl beds for our 9yr old labs…

Bought two xl beds for our 9yr old labs as day beds , they have memory foam beds for nighttime .
These Bella and Toby beds are the pits !
The photos on the website show plump comfy beds that the pooches snuggle in to .
Nothing could be further from the truth . They are flimsy and lack enough packing . Only had them a couple of days and they are flat ! As I write this one of them is in the flattened bed ...the other one is on the carpet not impressed at all . Wish there was an option to attach pics .

Hugely overinflated price

I bought a donut bed for my dog for £50, apparently in the sale at half its usual price from the Bella and Toby website. It was still extraordinarily expensive but was expecting the price to be reflective of it being a good quality product. I was absolutely stunned when it arrived. The stuffing is lumpy and thin and the bed shape uneven with fluff coming away from the stitching. it was packaged in a way that made me think it was a product bought elsewhere ( very cheaply) then shrink wrapped and sold on for a huge profit margin. I found the same bed a few days later for a fifth of the price in a well known store for house bargains and that bed seemed to be better quality. Had I paid full price (£100) for the Bella and Toby one I think would have been charged ten times what the product is worth.

Poor quality & not made to last

Poor quality & not made to last. Ordered a bed that hasn’t even lasted 5 months before the stitching failed on the seam. Bed is barely used. Customer services clearly have a template response for all complaints stating the filling will flatten with use which was not part of my issue at all!

Told me to restitch the seam and offered 25% off a new purchase, why would I purchase another when I’m not happy with the one I’ve already got.
