After weeks of waiting, my pouffe got turned around at customs, had absolutely no emails from the company I only know because I received a refund, so I checked tracking. That would have been fine if there had been communication, but there was none. Very poor.

Awful quality product and service!

I purchased a rug at the end of last year, I have only had it down for a few months, around 4 months at the time of writing this review. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing as I too am shocked at the incredibly poor quality of the rug. Sadly after such a short time, the fibres are so heavily matted, now making it impossible to hoover, it looks as though it has been used for years not months! It's in a low traffic area and walked on without shoes. The quality is just awful, I attempted to make a complaint but the response has been less than satisfactory and now my emails are being ignored. I would strongly recommend not purchasing with this company as both the service and product I received were terrible.

I am delighted to see that others are…

I am delighted to see that others are wise to this company too and are writing poor reviews about them. It’s a shame because I was really pleased with the rugs I received until I had to deal with customer services.
Firstly the rugs were late, and I had to chase.

Secondly I washed a rug I had which was 100% cotton in the washing machine. I scanned the QR code on the label hoping it would give me specific details on how to wash that specific rug. It did not. It just took me to the website saying that cotton rugs are mostly machine washable.

The colours ran.

I contacted Benuta who have sent me countless emails saying it is my fault and that the rug is not washable. I pointed out to them the details on the website and they said it is rug is not stated as washable in the machine that is not machine washable. This is ridiculously because if you are only looking at one rug you won’t notice that any others say they are machine washable.

They also say it is printed on the label so I asked them to send me a picture because my label came off in the wash and they won’t send it.

I said that failing to put all the information on every description is not my issue.

I put a claim on PayPal and this was their rude response.

“You have washed a carpet that cannot be washed, so you have destroyed it yourself. this is not a warranty case but your own fault, you should have taken the carpet to a carpet cleaner. therefore, we also reject your warranty claim here.”

It’s not a carpet Benuta. If they had shown a little willing, a little accountability trust would still have a customer.

Very bad quality carpets

Very bad quality carpets - I've been reading a few reviews and sadly I've been experiencing the same problems. I'm new to the UK and just wanted some carpets so my place felt like a home. The patterns of the carpet match what you see online but the quality is appalling. I did email them and there's a rigorous list of details and proof they need to process a claim which I honestly don't have much time for either - nor do I have any hope it will be of fruition. I don't know what to do about my situation but I must advise anyone else NOT TO BUY from this company. The fibres constantly appear, I feel like I need to vacuum everyday and the fibres go everywhere. It's incredibly frustrating.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY….Rug delivered in a dirty damaged box…

Rug delivered in a dirty damaged box hanging together by tiny bits of sellotape. I’ve emailed customer services several times and had no response other than fill in a form to return. No apology, no refund. Just inconvenience to have to organise a return, find new packaging to return, wait in for collection. The rug was several days over due as it was and did not deliver on the day they said they were. Customer service is so bad. Do better Benuta. Refund me my money please

Do not purchase from this company if…

Do not purchase from this company if you live in the UK, the return process is a joke and you will end up out of pocket. The customer service team have been useless and they take no responsibility over the return, so you have to pay and organise for the item to be returned yourself. I was really disappointed by the quality of the rug I purchased and now after attempting to send it back it’s been redelivered back to my house and month later as I didn’t sign something to do with a power of attorney…for the return of a rug?! What the hell this feels like a scam, this company clearly make it so hard for you to return your items so you just give up. I’m so unimpressed and will never be purchasing from this company again.

Wear quickly, poor quality

The delivery was quick. I was pleased with the quality when I opened the box. However, only a few months in and both rugs look so well worn. They are in areas with low traffic so I can only imagine how much worse they'd look in room with higher traffic! Poor quality with no longevity, I'm afraid.

Rug shipped folded in a box.. Joke! Damaged product.

I ordered a rug on the 1st of March, and it recently arrived, but I was shocked to find it packaged in a box. A rug delivered in a box seemed like a joke to me.

As expected, the rug was ruined. I'm not just talking about creases; it's also damaged from being folded and sh. I took pictures immediately, and I don't want to keep and use this rug. I won't be paying for return shipping since this is a damaged product. The pictures of the rug online were vibrant and looked good, but what I received was a damaged, cheap rug, nothing worth the hundreds of pounds I spent.

I'm currently waiting for Benuta to reply to my query and provide me with a free return shipping label.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to upload photos here, but I can share them if requested by Benuta.

I’ve ordered multiple rugs from Benuta…

I’ve ordered multiple rugs from Benuta however this time around the service has been awful.

I purchased a new rug over 3 weeks ago, the uk delivery company have made no attempts to deliver. I immediately raised this with benuta whom advised I’d recieve a refund.

HOWEVER….3 weeks later they’re still advising that I have to wait until the delivery company arrange return of the rug? (The rug I’ve never received and won’t!) why is this delay passed down to the customer.

It’s been 3 weeks and I’m no closer to benuta processing my refund.

Hugely disappointing and unless this is fast tracked to being refunded, I sadly will not be placing any further orders in the future.

No rug, no refund

26 days after ordering and no rug and no refund. 3 stars, because customer service do reply to emails fairly promptly. Minus 2 stars because, despite the rug never clearing UK customs, Benuta will not issue a refund until they receive the package back. They did offer a 20% discount on future purchases, but let's wait and see how long it takes to get refunded for this order first...
