Excellent service. I've been a customer of Bergfreunde for years and haven't had a single problem, whether it's delivery/delivery time, returns or complaints. Even if something didn't work right away or I had to complain about an item, I always got help very quickly and in a friendly manner and the amount was refunded to me.

Stay away, scam alert!
Stay away! Placed an order on July 5 with the promised delivery in 4 business days. On July 8, after an inquiry, got a response that they only ship bulky items on Fridays and are short staffed and can't commit to a shiping date. At that point I tried to cancel the order, as timely delivery was of the essence to me, got a response that the order can't be cancelled because they are suddenly processing it and will ship by July 13. Of course nothing was shipped on July 13. I doubt i will see my order and I hope I will get my money back.

Do not trust them!
I made my first hefty order with Bergfreunde and their courier stated it was delivered, but if it was it was to someone other than myself! I contacted both the courier and their customer service team for further information and followed their instructions, but now neither are willing to offer aid!
Their courier just asked to check around and after which stated they cannot do anything and to contact Bergfreunde; after doing so their customer service team tells me that they're not responsible if the courier says it's "delivered" (there was not even a signature on the delivery!!) and to contact the courier and go to the police?
They seemed very quick to take my money, but now that an issue has arose they are very unhelpful and neither them or their courier wants to take responsibility or listen!

Ordered a tent last Wednesday
Ordered a tent last Wednesday. Delivery time 2-4 days. Today Monday, contacted them and tent not even sent yet! Camping on Thursday.
I have contact Bergfreunde who told me tgat tent hasnt even left their fscilities. They can not say when it will arrive and they can not refund or cancel the order.
Apparently a shipment is made 1 per week. And anything that is bulky takes longer even though when you order a specific item, it says regarding that item.
Having been on the phone for over 30 mins, I said I wasnt interested in tbe general delivery times, only for my own item. And the conversation statted uo again with "well if you dont care about the general stuff, you dont care at all!". Sigh. I hung up at that point.

Terrible service from Alpiniste
Terrible service on 2 different orders.
Customer service very bad, in particular from Aissa Schneider.
When i finally received a refund (after weeks of persistence) - each time i emailed they asked the same questions to me. The refund was short of the required amount.
I will never order from this company again.

Wouldn't recommend
They knowing sold me a jacket which wasn't the measurements that was displayed in the size guide. I sent the jacket back on 28th April and 13 days later haven't received my refund. Been told some rubbish about the jacket having to be sent to Germany. Totally unacceptable customer service, wouldn't recommend.
