Bespoke Bathing 

I had a complete new shower fitted in 2017 and the service was excellent.bespoke bathing were the only company who suggested and managed to lower the shower tray .Others suggested a stool on the outside to step up into the shower.This was necessary as there is a very shallow space below the en suite.If I ever had query since there have always dealt with clearly with good humor and getting advice from engineers when needed.

When the shower was first fitted the weather was appalling but this did not affect the pleasant nature of the fitters and quality of the work done.

Now all these years later they are still offering the same

We had a walk in shower fitted by Bespoke Bathing in November after asking for a quote on their website.
A guy called Darren came around to see what would be best for us while he was fitting in the area - as we are in an old house which has less than stellar plumbing we felt it needed someone to see it first.

We needed something better than our old shower as my partner has bad legs and has difficulty stepping over things.
The fitting went without a hitch - Darren who did the quote came to fit it - with another guy called Steve, it took a little while longer than expected as a floorboard needed lifting to get at a water valve, but they were great and did this with no extra charge - apart from tea and biscuits every now and again, and put everything back together afterwards.

It was all fitted and tested working and it is so much nicer than our old unit.

I would recommend Bespoke for a new shower, and the fitters Darren and Steve were great, we are no longer spring chickens and they respected that and worked around us, and just 'got on' with it.

A credit to the company the pair of them.

Well after a few issues I would just like to say how pleased we are with the outcome of our problem Steve and his mate were extremely efficient in replacing some bourds in our shower and he left it clean and tidy

`Christened` the new shower this morning. Very pleased. Steve`s team were very upfront and transparent with us - we were clear with our expectations and they were clear with how they intended to deliver to them. They are professionals- putting showers in is what they do, communication was good, when there was a delay in arrival the office rang us so we had zero problems. I did mention to Steve that some of the reviews have been less than wonderful but it is clear that he is committed to creating teams that work to a high standard and has had to let some staff go who were not up to the level of competence required for his standards.

Excellent service. Could not recommend Steve & Darren highly enough. They went out of their way to install exactly what we needed which was a walk in shower after removal of bath.
Left everything spotless with no cleaning up required.

Unfortunately this company are in complete denial with regards to how they treat vulnerable people.
Their comments to negative feedback left by customers says it all. They accept no responsibility.

You and your company were given several opportunities to correct your appalling work on my sons wet room. Why would we keep letting you come to our home for you to keep letting us down? (When you eventually turned up) Hence why money was kept by. Yes you did go to a debt collecting agency and your money was paid.
Well done you must feel so proud of yourselves. But it does not change the fact we paid you nearly £7000 for JUST flooring that still to this day leaks, shower screens that you still to this day have the fittings for, that Mr Jay did not know how to fit. The screens are hanging off the wall, and you try to justify your actions by comments on here. I wish I could share photos of Bespoke Bathings work.
This company is an absolute disgrace. I wish all the customers that take legal action against you the best of luck and they get what is owed to them and Bespoke Bathing are made to pay for what they have done to people.

You have used my Name, but I have nothing to hide. But you request I remove names. Again a perfect example of Bespoke Bathing.

This company also installs lifts, though they may have stopped as the manufacturer has stopped dealing with them.
They delayed our installation for months then on the first day of the installation they decided that they would not proceed.
We have never had the promised refund and meanwhile had to double pay for some parts to get the job finished.
They are not communicating with us, ignoring us completely.

AN UPDATE AT 14th October 2023
So following me adding this review they contacted me, asking me to moderate or remove it. They have also confirmed, yet again, that they owe me £4500.00, but they have still not given me any money. I have committed to modifying the review on payment.
I have now issued the legal Statutory Demand notice

UPDATE AS AT 6 NOVEMBER
It appears that they have decided to ignore my communications and also the legal demands. We will continue with the legal actions which will go to Court shortly.

UPDATE AS AT 6 DECEMBER

After obtaining extra time from the Court they responded 2 hours before the Court's final deadline. They are challenging the claim even though they offered the settlement and have on several occasions confirmed in writing that they owe me the money. I agreed to Court Mediation but it has been declined, I do not know why.

UPDATE FEBRUARY 24
Court date set for June 24. Bespoke have failed to deliver a copy of their court submission to me, it was due about 4 weeks ago.
Have now complained to the court who say they will chase them.

The guys from Bespoke bathing where pleasant, the job that they carried out, was very quick clean and efficient, A proficient team that I would recommend to anyone

I am leaving this review following the installation of a walk-in shower for my mother by this company, I am gobsmacked by the derogatory reviews left by other customers, there must be something wrong as we have nothing but praise for the team. We received a price that we were happy with at the beginning followed by a fantastic installation from Darren and Steve.

They even called ahead each day to update on their arrival time and finished off by tidying after themselves and even a hoover.
Thanks Bespoke - would happily recommend.

Our new wet room conversion has changed our lives for the better.

Poor communication
The company delivers in the end. Expect delays but once installation started finished quickly. The most frustrating part of this company is communication ( keeping you informed)- very difficult to get hold of anyone on installations and no information volunteered on delays to installation. Quick to do the sales contract and then they disappear. pity

Installing new shower

The fitter knew what was required and was more that capable of doing his job. The end result was great and I am very pleased with my new shower.

I could not find any words in the English dictionary which suitably describes just how atrocious a company this is. Do business with them at your peril, psychologically, financially and in terms of quality, a word which is not in their vocabulary.

I, Susan Turpin, contracted with them to install a complete upgrade of my bathroom in January 2023. I thought that their prepayment terms were very one sided and unlike any other business I had come across and I now understand why. They want as much of your money in advance as they can, knowing that they won’t deliver, as promised, and thus you then have little hold on them.

Numerous delays to the start date, inability to return phone calls, unable to put anything in writing as it could be held against them, ordering the wrong products, not undertaking the survey they promised until I insisted upon it, after which they had to modify, yet again, the scheme of works, to allow for aspects they had overlooked. Using Inferior products charged at a premium price.

The word service is also not in their vocabulary, in fact they are often downright inconsiderate and rude.

The only saving grace was the freelance subcontractor they took on to try and install their scope of work although this excellent man was blighted by having been sent the wrong product and now months later he has still not been paid

All I can say is avoid this company at all costs. We had a wet room fitted and nothing, and I mean nothing was right with it, including a toilet that would not flush and a sink that the water would not go down..I could go.On about the floor that had a floor put down that was not non slip and the cladding on the walls which did not have a panel on it that actually met the panel next to it. The door was 2 inches too short which meant a gap at bottom of door. These are just a few of the problems we had there were many more.
A second fitter was sent out to correct things and he actually made things worse.
We took them to small claims court for a full refund, which we WON the case and got our refund. We then had to threaten when the date to pay came and went and not a penny piece had been returned to us, even though it had been court ordered!!!!!!!!!!we threatened them with their local press and in the end we got our money back.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I am exceedingly reluctant to give them even one star because of how bad they have been.
Could not believe how poorly this company treated us. We placed the order last May and after arranging a start date that changed without telling us and it then had be altered again because we were going away on holiday on that date. They eventually turned up in the Autumn; unfortunately l did not keep notes on any dates because problems like this do not happen to us, well they have.
The problems started almost immediately. The fitter tore out our wash sink unit when it was meant to be staying and has replaced with a small one half its size as well as being of exceedingly poor quality. we constantly have trouble with the plug which was broke from when he fitted it and its replacement is totally unsatisfactory as well as difficult to use.
The Cabinet was delivered damaged from the start which we pointed out but they have made no effort whatsoever to do anything about it.
We had our wall tiles replaced with cladding but instead of taking them all off the wall he left over half of them on and put the cladding on top meaning that the walls are not flush as well jutting out over the window which was meant also to be made flush with the shower placement. The cladding over the tiles is also bowing from the walls as well.
The shower fittings seem of the poorest quality when our original was of the highest standard; we had already stated we wanted quality products not cheap ones when we placed the order.
After using the shower a couple of times we found water was flooding into the kitchen below so now the shower cannot be used.
All this was "completed" by November sometime and we refused to make a final payment until all was made good. They sent a man round to see what the problems were and he agreed with us and so they now knew what needed to be done. Since then absolutely nothing except exceedingly poor excuses as to why they could not do anything, it was always a suppliers fault.
I have rung just about every week this year and have got nothing from them. I made an official complaint against them through The Guild of Master Tradesmen which they acknowledged a couple of weeks ago stating that we would be advised shortly as to what was going to happen. Since then nothing. I have sent a further couple of Emails as well as ringing them a few times but now they do not answer the phone they just let it ring out.

JULY of last year paid deposit for new bathroom work did not start till January of this year.we had bathroom refitted with walk in shower.By February shower Leaked down in to my kitchen and ruined parts of my kitchen. EVentualy the plumber came out in March, left my shower unit on floor.The company say they not going put it right as said was our fault not .theirs.weve now been 2 months with out shower.Noting my husband is disabled and has cancer and I mental health problems and in our 70 s. Would not recommend this company. Their after care is terrible

Just had a total bathroom refit we where given a date to start but had a call asking would it be ok to start a week early we said yes. Warren & Richard arrived at 8 o clock in the morning and started work and soon had it done then had it ready to start work once the new items arrived all the work was done within the time framework. Could not fault there work if were not sure of anything they explained and we were happy.

5/12/23 Didn't come to fix leaky shower door. Excuse after excuse. Expect a bill for the extra time carers take to mop up bathroom. Even the complimentary shower tray is rusting. WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY FOR DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM CONVERSION. GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS.
14/11/23 Aftercare service is really shoddy. Almost NEVER call back when promised. Finished the bathroom in record time but didn't leave a slope so the water runs into the rest of the bathroom through the leaky door. A five minute shower now needs 10 minutes of mopping up. Carers charging extra for time spent cleaning up. Tim, the chief engineer is very nice, but it's been months since we were promised it will be fixed. WILL BE REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS FOR FALSE SELLING ON AFTERCARE, they responded super quick when we withheld the rest of the payment but now, they don't care.
21/7/23 update - seems happy days don't last long!
Enclosure door leaking again. Two and a half weeks after reporting it and still nothing. No feedback, no information, no date for an engineer to come and sort the problem. Had promise of call back but still nothing. We were sold on after installation service but it seems it's a one off. I wonder what Steven Ellis the managing director thinks of this service. A five minute shower results in a ten minute clean-up after, joy!
16/5/23 Update: Had a little issue with floor settling after a week of usage and a couple of minor adjustments. Called Charlie, and withheld the rest of the payment, then the fitters and Tim the engineer all called to get precise details then the next day a fitter arrived. After payment in full it's a job getting hold of anyone for aftercare service.
Work began 2 May 2023. After a month of scheduling delays. The team of Warren (the Welsh Wizard), and Richard is a dream team. Efficient, hard working, highly professional and know what they're doing. Completed the wet room conversion in 4 days. Unfortunately, they were so eager to finish before the Bank Holiday weekend they didn't measure the slope so the shower door leaks. It started leaking after 5 days. 6 months later, it's still leaking.

Like many other reviews, it took five months from a quotation until the start of the installation and we also experienced lack of communication from the company.
Eventually the installation started on the date we were advised and things got a lot better. The fitter Joe was very friendly , hardworking and very knowledgeable and professional in this line of work, resulting in a splendid shower room and en suite. The customer service department also contacted us regularly.
Overall we are very pleased with the result.
