Do NOT buy with this company,You will end up with an unfinished product and ghosted.

When I searched originally for someone to build my bespoke wardrobe and booked with Edinburgh Bespoke Joinery, reviews were good on Google (about this time last year) but now I’m seeing a clear pattern with recent customers. Check out Google reviews as well as here.

My very expensive fitted wardrobe has been left uncompleted with a bottom door missing. I have the wrong colour good handles, an understair cupboard has not been fully finished and due to not doing plans properly they have blocked in sockets behind the wardrobe halving the number I have in my bedroom.

I’ve been completely blanked and ignored since April this year with no response initially from Rory and now from James. Tonight’s emails - Rory’s has been returned as email not existing, while James, no response again.
I’ve been unable to text as I was able to before with text’s not going through. Whether he’s blocked me or cut the number I don’t know.
Completely disappointing but sounds like par of the course. I’ve tried for 3 months to get a response and as a business owner myself, coming onto review sites is a completely last choice to do to another business.
Reading the two reviews here though it’s clear this is a pattern of behaviour.

Sadly really can’t recommend this company.

The product we have (bespoke kitchen) is beautiful, well made and we love it. However the communication has been shocking, pretty much from the start (or once we confirmed the work)- some parts of the kitchen eg tap, shelves, have been installed wrong and the owner is now screening our calls, emails and texts despite us chasing many many times over months. It was also hard to get updates on plans, install dates, progress etc throughout.

A real shame as we are genuinely happy with the kitchen but the process and comms have been terrible. Would not reccommend using this company.

I can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

The owner, James Moss, promises the world. He says he can make anything, is so responsive when designing the kitchen, asks for deposit and then full payment before he comes to fit and then only fits half the kitchen!!!

We have waited months and months for our kitchen and it still remains unfinished. Excuse after excuse after excuse. He has no shame!

Further, what he has delivered is not good quality. We paid tens of thousands for this bespoke kitchen and the paint chips, doors bash easily, parts aren’t even the same colour as they’ve been sprayed at different times, the doors aren’t straight, handles are wrong. The list goes on.

Other customers of his have also reached out to me to say they’ve experienced the same treatment.

Avoid this man and this company. We will need to take him to court

He also had a previous business that was struck off - Dovetail joinery Ltd. So this is not his first rodeo.
