I made a call to bestinvest customer service in UK from abroad.
The call handler Casey was superb. She gave me all the information I asked for and explained all the queries I raised in clear way and answers.
She is professional courteous and polite.

Stay away!!
They rip you off with fees.
Almost 1% to buy and sell U.S. shares.
That is a lot when comparing with other companies

Very easy to negotiate site. They make getting advice very simple and their rates are very good.

The company is knowledgeable and has a variety of funds and investments. I had a call with a coach and he was helpful, if only I'd spoken to him 5 years ago.
The reason for only 3 stars is due to the fund I invested having fell more than 50% in 5 years, a fund managed not by bestinvest but through bestivest, I chose this unwisely.
If you want to invest in shares or funds then this is for you, just don't use money you can't afford to lose.

The coach appointment was brilliant. Staff were informed, clear, knowledgeable and took time to ensure I had all the information I need to make financial decisions. I would recommend this free consultation.

The coaching session gave me a helpful insight into stocks and shares ISAs with all questions answered in depth on a follow-up email.

Awful experience from start and ongoing service is ridiculous. Setting up an ISA trying to look after my Nieces best interests and CONSTANTLY being TIME WASTED with the lack of clarity given each any every time I have attempted contact.

Avoid using these if your intention is similar to mine, won't waste another second dealing with them.

Very useful chat with Marc Fryer. I was really just looking for some advice regarding flexi-ISA rules and processes, and confirmation / reassurance that my plans were achievable. Marc was very helpful, knowledgeable and clear, and gave me the confidence I needed to proceed. He was also very friendly and easy to talk to, making it an easy and enjoyable experience (apart from trying to log into Teams which made me a bit late for the call!).

A comprehensive review of my investments with queries answered resulting in confidence to go forwards.

Best Invest’s representative Melissa was clear concise but at the same time comprehensive in answering queries. For a lay person, this was an excellent experience.

I have been a BestInvest customer for a few years now and one of the things I like most is the ability to talk to an investment coach for free whenever I need a bit of information (not advice! Remember they can’t give you that..) I’ve spoken to a few in recent years and all have proved as helpful as they can be (given they can’t advise - just explain your options) My most recent chat was with Marc Fryer who was excellent and proved a good sounding board for me. Strongly recommended as are Best Invest generally – especially for Green and impact funds of which they have a large array.

I have been trying to access my SIPP online for 2 weeks and all get is a "wealth page" that keeps spooling. Ive notified them by phone, email and message to no avail.
They need to get the IT sorted out as it is an online platform.

I wanted to know what steps I needed to take to start drawing down from my SIPP. Colin guided me through each step and the consequences of my drawdown.

Not being able to find the information I wanted via the online system, I made a phone call to Best Invest. My call was answered without delay by Taylor, a pleasant and helpful young lady. She talked me through the various options to the one I required (but which I had overlooked, Dohh!) and that was it; all sorted quickly and efficiently. Thank you Taylor.

Sam helped me understand how to set up a Discretionary Trust General Investment Account with Best Invest. The coaching session was very helpful and also identified some investment fund options I had not considered. Five Stars .

I was apprehensive about booking a formal coaching session about Discretionary Trust and was relieved to find the session full of understandable action items and promptly received follow-up forms from Marc Fryer. He was knowledgeable about the subject and how Bestinvest could address my requirements.

A few members of my family have invested using the BestInvest platform which, for all the complexity and options available, is very well laid out and easy to understand.
We've not used any coaches as yet and invested with the stocks and shares ISA which has a great choice of funds/equities.
Investors must be doing a good job as we have all made decent profits.
Keep up the good work!! (and please fix the fingerprint login on Android!)

They lock you out of your account and make you sign up from scratch when you've had a few failed login attempts.
Who came up with that absolutely brilliant idea?
Imagine any of the major internet players locking you out of your account and making you reapply for an online account with new details every time someone tries to get into your account?
And the person trying to get into my account was me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update - so I'm forced to entered in login details again to get online access so I put all the same details in again (username, password, pin) because I didn't want to change them (I didn't ask to reset my details) and they're all accepted. So what was the point of the whole exercise apart from wasting my time?
