Absolute International thieves, unfortunately I received no support from PayPal after 10 years with them, to get my scammed £39.95 back; and I have reported them to the Cyprus police.

like i said do not even buy a 2 dollar pdf from this website and this is how they scam you. I got scammed because i wanted to remove watermarks and paid 2 euros to download my sheet, but it automatically took 40 euros from my account and I emailed customer care but there is no human and only an AI robot whom repeatedly says the same thing and refuses to refund my money back and I have not even used this service, such a scam and I am only a student and I am so low on funds that I cannot even purchase my books. dont go for this this is such a scam

Deceitfully hidden subscription opt in and recurring charges. Disgraceful. Shame on you

I should have looked this seller up on Trustpilot first. Total rip off.

Avoid “The Best PDF” – Misleading and Deceptive
I recently tried “The Best PDF” after searching for a free PDF compressor. The tool appeared completely free at first and prominently advertised strong compression ratios that matched exactly what I needed.
However, after uploading my file and completing the compression process, I was suddenly taken to a download page where payment was required. Only then did the pricing appear. I decided to go with their one-time payment plan for unlimited uses within one week. After paying, I downloaded the compressed file, only to find that the actual compression ratio was far below what was shown before payment — nowhere near the promised standard.
Feeling suspicious, I re-uploaded the same file to test it again. Once the compression finished, I was once again prompted to pay before I could download the file. At this point, it became clear that I had been deceived.
This tool uses very obvious bait-and-switch tactics. It lures users in with promises of high compression and seemingly free service, only to introduce payment barriers after the work is done — and even then, it fails to deliver on the advertised results.
I strongly recommend others to stay away from “The Best PDF” and avoid wasting time and money. There are much more transparent and honest PDF compression tools available.

Stole my money.

Do not use this company. They deceptively enroll you in recurring charges. BestPDF charges continue even when you think you have cancelled your subscription. The cancellation process is intentionally difficult, and the customer service tries not to let you cancel and tries even harder not to refund any fraudulent charges. There are evil Pakistani scammers that are more legitimate than BestPDF.

I've used best pdf only for one translation and not recognized that's a subcription.
I canceled immediately my CC and applied for a new one.
Also I informed my lawyer. For me those people are crminals!!!

i have long cancelled the sbscription for 3 months, but i still get deductions happening to my card.

I want to warn others about my experience with BestPDF.

I signed up thinking it was a simple PDF tool, but I was later charged without clearly understanding it was a recurring subscription. The billing was not transparent and the subscription terms were not obvious at the time of payment.

I had to go through a refund process to get my money back. Fortunately, I was refunded, but the experience was misleading and stressful.

Be careful before entering any payment details on this site. Check subscription terms carefully, and assume it may auto-renew.

I am posting this so others don’t get caught in the same situation.

Beware of BestPDF – subscription cancellation issues and scam.when you try to cancel and get a refund, they won't. Costumer service is like AI. Terrible. SCAM

Fraud!! I used their service once for .95p and was charged for a subscription i was not aware of. Why are these criminals allowed to trade?

Highly deceptive billing practices. I was charged for a membership I did not knowingly sign up for after making what appeared to be a one-time payment. When I asked for a refund, support pushed back and tried to avoid reimbursing me. This feels like a trap, not a legitimate customer experience. Use extreme caution with this company.

Worst service ever, you think you'll pay once for a service but you'll end up being charged £39.95 a week later for a plan you never subscribed for. Absolute scam! Stay away from it!

Canceled my free trial and they still charged me 40$. Customer service refused to make it right. My card info was lifted less than a week after my cancelation which is suspicious to me as well as I made no other payments that were out of the ordinary. Stay away. Wish I had looked them up ahead of time.

paid 0.95 for a one-off service, then charged me 39 for a subscription - asked for a refund: they have a very nice AI bot responding to your email saying they cannot refund, but have no system to give you a heads up about an incoming charge.

Visited their site and was unwittingly signed up for $39.95 USD.
It was two months before I noticed the money gone.
I emailed them to cancel “subscription” and they wanted more bank details “to assist in locating the transactions”.
I had to cancel my card and lost the money for the subscription I never used and didn’t knowingly sign up for.
BEWARE.

You pay 0.95 for a convention, they refund you the 0.95, and then start charging you 39 pounds a month.

I initially paid $0.95 to translate a document from French to English, as advertised on the website. After entering my payment details, I was charged and able to download the file, but nothing was actually translated. I tried again with the same result—no translation at all.

At no point during payment was it clearly stated that this was part of a subscription. Only later, in small text at the bottom of the email receipt, it mentioned a 7-day trial that would automatically renew for $39.95 if not canceled.

A week later, I was unexpectedly charged $39.95. I had no intention of subscribing, and the service was presented as a one-time payment.

I requested a refund multiple times, especially since I never received the promised service, but they refused and did not properly address my request.

This was my last money, and I received nothing in return. Very disappointing and misleading experience. I strongly advise others not to trust this service.
