What I like most about BetterTax is that it's not just about learning for a certificate, but you'll also gain practical expertise. Additionally, the material provided is rich in information and knowledge. Ultimately, I believe I have gained a friend who can provide you with everything you need at any time. Johann Müller is an outstanding support throughout the entire exam preparation process. His extensive knowledge and direct, no-nonsense approach make a real difference.

So with no professional or educational background in accounting, law or finance (I was a Drilling Engineer), I took Johan's course on Principles of International Taxation and decided to sign up for the ADIT exam. 2 years later, I just graduated with a Distinction in my ADIT course, with marks of 83, 88 and 79 for my 3 units (Principles of International Taxation and 2 country specific modules).

Bettertax's course introduced me to what International Taxation was, what double taxation treaties did, and much more. I find it impressive that I took no other paid courses that related to my 3 exams in ADIT, and this course was able to give me (someone with no background in International Taxation) the foundations I needed to achieve a distinction.

The pass rate for Dec 2024 Principles of International Taxation module was 49% so the fact that I as a total newbie to the International Tax world was able to pass with 79% is something I think speaks wonders for this course.

In June 2023, I took Johann's Exam Prep classes for my International tax paper for ADIT. I was very impressed with his lectures and learnt a lot from those 3 sessions.
