I have to say I have mixed feelings about about better U. As someone who has spent over $1000 in purchases from them. It started out ok. The dosage was good. But then the moment I asked for a release form, the medication I got after that was very light. It was written on it as the same dosage but when I used the medication it was obvious it was not the same dosage. So I let them know. To their credit, they admitted that their pharmacy changed the composition, so they sent me a different type. But the same result. No effect. Kind of sad. Felt like I’m being ripped off. Maybe it’s because I asked for a release form. But it started out good but ended up looking like they just wanted my money and sent me low dosage instead of what it payed for.. Disappointing but hey, big businesses right… hope this helps anyone who’s trying to find a trusted company.

I’m a disabled veteran, and Better U literally changed my life. I spent the last 10+ years being unable to sleep at night (because of my PTSD). That caused work problems, relationship problems, anger problems and so many other things. The VA was no help. They threw med after med after med at me and didn’t understand that nothing was helping. Better U’s approach to ketamine with therapy and support helped me fix 80% of my problems related to PTSD. I have slept consistently at night for almost a year. The relationships in my life are better than they’ve ever been, actually. Even my tinnitus was lessened! I’ve been able to seek out PTSD therapies at the VA and delve into the root of my problems because Better U allowed me to get into the right headspace to face military issues and traumas I had buried (definitely unsuccessfully) for 15 years. I recommend them to absolutely everyone I can. Including my barber, seriously. I firmly believe most people should try this at least once. It is life-changing.

Better you unlike ""other"" at home treatments I regret trying at all...all in daily in VERY low doses also placebos sent that have bots running it all. There were No human interactions past your initial consult. All texts and all generic bot generated & their app lacked any real safety especially crating addicts not helping anyone by not educatung them or supporting them this isnt a game its REAL working therapy if done properly.
Bettr U ofers SI MUCH ...all pf The support you need, safety protocols, classes, journals, proved with educational materials AND urgemt real video visits with a cliician who are ALL so so kind inspirational truly CARE about how you ate doing . & the TRUE understanding and empathy shows that they WANT to be sure you are okay.

I was a MESS a dumster fire of emotions no "pills" would fix,I had recently lost my father, suffered from ptsd for MANY years it was bad again, I HAD NO interest in anything especially if it was for myself (business/hobby) after losing him in a battle and unexpected horrors trayma that came with it at home nursing homes hospitals ..the anger over the outcame me a lot or i would cry for hours bo concept of time i became my moms keeper she is not only in a state of dementia also has no odea without him how to function pay bills understand the importance of no cretic no money its frustating
After DOSE one, I began to feel so alive . My health isnt great also not as bad as it could be. I suffer with chronic pain fusion L4 to S1 ALWAYS have pain, added other joint and bone issues, I also will not take narcotics period . Ketamine has helped with pain...greif...better handling the mass amounts of stress and responsibilities, and with a VERY new approach. More energy, better sleep, better CLARITY appetite is better. This gas changed my life... and me in ways that my adult mind has not truly understood. Its wonderful though...so why question the process! Also a "loss of ego" ability to step out and really reflect is so profound there are no words only experienced yourself . I was also able to get affurn credit pay monthly approved its worth EVERY cent. Paid cash for meds my second dose higher and although not cheap...what is the true cost to finally heal and feel better in ways you have been unable to in many years with additional wisdom. Personally it was a universal send at just the right time. No depression clinical history they tried meds anyways 5yrs I walked around no emotion going through life thinking I felt it was all false. Got off thst med MANY years ago and never allowed any meds again. Ketamine is a first try in about 25 years and WORKS. I cant enough about how worth it this is.

2025-07-16 UPDATE:

After this review was originally posted, Better U responded stating that gabapentin was not prescribed and attributing the entry in my prescription monitoring profile to a third-party pharmacy system error. However, the documentation provided so far consists only of a prescription copy and a general system error claim. Missing are pharmacy compounding logs, proof of PDMP correction, and technical documentation showing how this alleged error occurred and was corrected.

As a patient, I remain concerned about the implications this has for others receiving mental health treatment. Patients deserve full transparency about what is reported under their names in controlled substance databases.

Better U prescribed gabapentin to be inlcuded in my ketamine compound without telling me, getting my consent, or documenting it anywhere. I only found out when my primary care doctor noticed it on my medication list. This is a serious informed consent violation.

When I tried reaching out about this undisclosed medication, they've ignored every single communication - chat messages, emails, even executive escalation. Complete silence on a legitimate patient safety concern.

We're seeking ketamine treatment because we're struggling with mental health issues and need relief. The last thing we need is a company that secretly prescribes additional medications without telling us, then goes silent when we ask about it. This behavior makes an already difficult situation so much worse.

If you're considering Better U, be aware they may prescribe medications without proper informed consent. If you're already a patient, check with your doctor about what you're actually taking vs what they told you.

Would not recommend. There are other ketamine providers who will actually communicate with their patients and practice proper informed consent.

Awesome experience . I was nervous to try something outside the box but it has worked great for me . Feeling better then I have in 25 years , I am able to function better and doing it with a smile on my face . Better U also has a great support system in place for you to reach out and take advantage of the program . I also must mention that Better U also does reach out to you and it seems like it's just when you need it the most . Thank you Better U .

BetterU has been an amazing experience. They make ketamine treatments affordable vs going to a clinic and paying 3,000 dollars. I feel so much better and I am only three treatments in. BetterU was great up until they asked for a positive review. After that communication became unclear. I was placed on autopay after my last prescription without my knowledge. When I expressed my disappointment and stated I was even considering other options bc of this I got the response “thanks for letting us know”.
