Breach of EU Consumer Rights
One star because there is no option for zero. Beurer customer service in one word? Disgraceful. In all my years, I never imagined I would encounter a company that completely and blatantly disregards consumer rights.
I personally delivered a faulty Beurer heating pad to the shop where I bought it, in impeccable condition, hand-to-hand. It was well within the warranty period so the shop owner dispatched it to the regional Beurer partner/technical support. Said partner replied that they would not issue a replacement product, emailing pictures of a heating pad that was dirty, RIPPED, and mangled, as if it had been run over by a car.
The shop owner was as appalled as I was by the incredulous response and offered me a free replacement from their own stock, which I denied. Instead, I opted to reach out to Beurer customer service, who showed no interest (did not ask for an invoice, photos, copies of email correspondence or anything else).
They wrote back that they would look into it and a few days later simply told me to contact the Beurer partner on my own. The same Beurer partner that shamelessly lied, and has multiple customer reviews/complaints, similar to mine, posted online.
To sum up, they had no issue with dishonest practices, no intention of honoring their product warranty agreement, and zero inclination to make it up to the end customer.
That's Beurer customer service for you. As I said, disgraceful. My advice? Spend your hard-earned cash on some other brand. ANY other brand.
