We loved this tour! Our guide was such a fun person and had plenty of jokes to keep us entertained. The scenery was beautiful and the tour was well planned so we could see the caves before the tides became too high. It was truly all inclusive. We had everything we needed and great food! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

This trip has been an amazing addition to our visit in Lisbon. Everything was taken care of, all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselfs.

We explored caves, drank wine and ate cheese in said caves, jumped off some clifs into the ocean and kayaked ourselfs back to the beach where an amazing lunch was waiting for us.
The tour guide was very knowlegable and told us a ton of cool facts about the area and jokes.. My god this man is legendary for his jokes!

Basically, you want to have an amazing time with friends at the ocean and not worry about a single thing? Book this now!

Joäo absolutely made the day and would highly recommend. Taught us a lot about Portugal as well.

We went on the Arrábida adventure tour with João in early October. It was a perfect day that was meticulously planned from our pickup in Lisbon to our well-curated itinerary on the water. João and company were high energy, fun, and paid attention to all of the small details. The tour provided everything that we needed to have a great full-day outing, including snacks, lunch, paddling gear, and wetsuits. The scenery was incredibly beautiful and included ocean caves, dramatic cliffs, snorkeling, and scenic viewpoints. The tour catered to people of all levels of fitness and adventure. We had such a good time and were treated like family by João. It was an unforgettable last day of our trip to Portugal. I would highly recommend booking tours with Beyond Adventures any time during the year!

Had taken this on September 13, 2022 and it was a day! The water was terrible and the weather was not being friendly but we marched on. The tour guys were fun, knowledgeable and a wee bit crazy.
Would not have it any other way!
Thanks for a great day and if you get a chance to try this day trip....do it! You will not be disappointed. I am not a fan of the water or very experienced but the guys were a great confidence booster.

For our 2-weeks travel in Portugal, we visited different cities.
As we were staying in Lisbon, we decided to book a day with Beyond Adventure!

What a day! Our best day in Portugal!
Joao is a wonderful guide and a very nice person!
We laughed the whole day and felt at ease from the very beginning.
Joao is a very funny, resourceful and excellent guide. He also has a lot of knowledge about Portugal and the area he lives in, which made our day even more interesting.

While cliff jumping, I also felt a bit scared and he was very patient and kind, giving me courage to jump.

I can only advice you ( very strongly) to book a day with Joao, you won't be disappointed.

From the kayak, cliff jumping, snorkeling, lunch (which was very good and enough for 15 people) and the discovery of the area, everything was perfect.

We will definitely come again with friends and family.

Once again, thank you enough for this wonderful memory.

Ps : again, congratulations for becoming a dad for the second time!

Joao is an outstanding tour guide- he is funny, endlessly energetic and enthusiastic as well as knowledgeable and attentive. Our day with him wasn’t just the best day of our trip to Portugal- it was one of the very best things I’ve ever done on any holiday.

We kayaked, explored sea caves, cliff dived, snorkelled and so much more - all while feeling safe and secure. Joao organised everything perfectly. He always had a funny joke and an interesting story or fact to entertain everyone.

He provided a wide variety of food at several points throughout the day - such as a selection of bread (including traditional Portuguese bread), fresh salad and veg, a variety of dips, crisps, cheese, crackers, jam, chorizo, chicken, gazpacho and fresh grapes from his family vineyard. He showed us how to grill chorizo in a traditionally Portuguese way- which was delicious. He also provided lots of water, some fresh, homemade strawberry juice, and a selection of excellent local wines - some of which also came from his family vineyard.

Joao truly loves what he does - and it shows. He provides you with everything you need- all you have to bring is a spirit for adventure, a basic level of fitness and lots of sun cream.

I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Give yourself the treat of a lifetime and go on a tour with Joao.

We spent 2 weeks in Portugal and this was by far the best day. You can never go wrong with an excellent guide, wine, and cliff jumping.

It’s amazing to see how passionate he is about his area, and his love for the natural world is infectious.

We would highly recommend this tour & encourage anyone who travels to Lisbon to do it so you get to see the hidden wonders the coast has to offer.

The food was amazing and gave us a true insight on Portuguese cuisine and how it’s not just food but also their culture as we were shown around the area and taught many interesting facts about the land and its people

João, along with Miguel, provided a wonderful experience for us on this eco adventure. At first, we were not sure what to expect, but João's energy was contagious. Perfect for a small group to enjoy Portugal's natural beauty which we were unaware of.

Besides spending time off the beaten path, we were able to experience our host's family home. His knowledge of the area was special due to his love and enthusiasm for showing others its existence and beauty. Even his Disney-themed music was contagious!!

Amazing experience! The guides were great, the views, the food, the jump and snorkle spots, the dad jokes, everything. 10/10 would recommend. A fabulous break from the city and the heat.

We had the most amazing day with Joao doing the Kayaking adventure, we went through caves, rock climbing, pushing ourselves to our limits doing cliff jumping!! never thought I would do that but was so happy I did! The snorkeling was brilliant too!! Portugal has the most beautiful coastline it's great to see it from a kayak. Joao is knowledgeable on Lisbon and the surrounding areas! We had a fabulous lunch on the beach and snacks and drinks throughout the day, we ate like kings and queens! Would 100% recommend this tour to everyone young and old! You will enjoy every minute! Even the dad jokes! 🤣👍🙌 Thanks for everything Joao!

We had a great day with Joao, he is very entertaining, engaging and informative, The trip was tremendous with all we did in a single day and he was a great host providing food and wine as we explored caves, kayaked, jumped off the cliffs and snorkeled. A great time was had by all in Arribida and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have fun and do something a bit different!

An amazing adventure with a fantastic company. Well organised, good fun, a chance to experience cliff jumping, kayaking, caving, snorkelling, delicious food and drink and learn loads about the area. The group size was double the max size advertised which did make it a different experience and still a great one. Thank you for a brilliant day 🤩

I cannot recommend this trip enough. João is dedicated to making every adventure the absolute best part of your visit to Portugal, and he is great at what he does. There was hardwork, relaxation, adventure, history, cork trees, delicious traditional food, and plenty of great music and wine. The guides pushed us to challenge ourselves, but also allowed some group members to take it a little easier if they chose. Plus, there were plenty of photo opportunities! Truly, this trip had it all. I’ll never forget my visit to the blue coast!
