I won an auction for a mini excavator From Asset Auctions . I paid my invoice the following day. It has now been over 4 weeks with no response or information about when i can collect the item. I have been e mailing them daily but e mails are ignored and no telephone numbers to call. I have also been to there offices in Nottingham off Asset Auctions to be told bye a neighbour they left over 3 weeks ago and I'm not the only person who has been looking for them. They have taken over £5000 off me. Also Biddpotter should be ashamed as they still allow them to trade on there website and don't help anyone.
Even now the same item which i bought from asset auctions is being sold again for someone else to lose there money And biddspotter knowing about this do nothing
PLEASE DONT BE SCAMMED BY THESE CROOKS

Dangerous auction platform!
This platform gives and tolerates fraud companies even after many signals to them, that some auctioneers on the platform are fake, and only take money from the customers without to provide the winning product. I personally visited the address of one of them - Asset Auction, to which I paid for the won lot, but the building was empty and the company was not working.
After a report to the customer service, the same company continues to work on the bid spotter platform and continues to deceive users of the platform. UNFORTUNATELY, there is no feedback, and apparently, the platform is interested in profiting and not taking action.
AVOID!!!

The service was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.I purchased a van from Edwards & Gerald Auctioneers, but the information provided was incorrect.
I feel compelled to share my thoughts. From the outset, it was clear that the level of professionalism was lacking. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, which set a negative tone for the entire interaction. I encountered multiple issues, and when I reached out for assistance, my concerns were met with indifference.
What was particularly frustrating was the lack of communication; I sent several emails seeking clarification and support, but I received no response. It felt as though my inquiries were being completely ignored, which is unacceptable in any customer-focused business. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling undervalued and frustrated, and I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options. I certainly won't be returning.

Received Instant email at 2.30 pm wanting payment by 5pm .
Made payment promised delivery following week ! Had no reply ! sent over 6 emails . 10 days later having thousands of pound in there bank to tell me the client has sold it !
Still waiting for my money and thinking of taking legal action , ( binding contract they say )

It's a platform hosting auction house scams
As a platform for auctioneers, you would expect a degree of vetting. Very disappointed to learn that they do not care about buyers being scammed by auction houses, and will take no responsibility for your loss. Perhaps not surprising as that's how they make their money. They should be ashamed of being associated with Alexander Aurelius auctioneers who hide behind the 'unchecked clause' and send any old rubbish to the buyers. Reported to Trading Standards and the Police.

Am not sure what to say about this site . and am giving a 2 jsu tbecause once they did help BUT the auctions they do Most are auctions that the ventors has no online auctions of there own , and they side with them all the time ie
Last christmas i had stuff to pay from a auction and 2 weeks before christmas card got hacked and if this happened to anyone you know the bank will le tylet you pay anything until its sorted rang the auctioneer and tryed to explain might as well have talked to teh wall got blocked by them then about 3 months ago anotehr auction site was selling medical items and sayng they were new ok yes maybe they were so bid on some then asked what did was on the battery and it was about 11 months roughly and the batterys are about 2/300 £ so like they were selling items that was old stock as a defeb has a battery with at less 5 years Enma said they were taking court prceeing told them to go ahead as 1 i wood let ppl know what they are hiding and the old stock they are selling a medical item must have the battery life on it ....so got blocked again THEY take the side on the ventor every time doesnt matter why or waht the season you have so aye they are init for themselves

Basically, a total waste of time
Waited 5 days for the end of the auction, had the highest of 20 bids, waited until the seconds countdown to finish and lo and behold, the following message was displayed:"Auctioneer has chosen not to publish the price of this lot". Basically, they decided to withdrawn the item on the last second of the auction. A complete waste of time. Avoid using this auction site.
