I normally am a huge advocate for the big bus. I choose them over over city sightseeing etc. I have been on big bus San Francisco, la, Miami, New York, Philly, Chicago, Paris, Dublin, Las Vegas, Munich, Rome, Madrid, Washington DC and lastly Dubai. My Dubai experience I will never ride with them again and I'm going to leave a one star review on all the possible places.
I got off at the Atlantis aquarium and somehow from getting on the bus to aquarium I lost my paper ticket. I understand their rule lose the ticket lose your ride. But other countries uses the app and I can just show the app.
I purchase the ticket yesterday and it was good for 48 hours from when I redeemed it.
However, they wouldn't let me back on the bus and had to spend 150 aed on a taxi.
Clearly they should use the barcode and scan tickets vs just looking at a paper receipt.
This way they can valid your ticket. So even thought my ticket was purchase less than 24 hours ago with 48 hours pass the ticket both lady couldn't do anything and the WhatsApp chat she has with her supervisor were unwilling to help. So I wasted $103 usd on hop on hop off bus I can not use.
I am very disappointed in big bus since I been loyal to them even with their other competitors. Now city sightseeing will gain my loyalty.

How can a company this big have no contact telephone number and you can only talk to a chat service with repetitive answers. I purchased 4 x deluxe tickets pre covid and as I was unable to travel the validity was extended. I was told to contact 2 days before travel to have them re issued.... to be told they don't sell that ticket anymore ( it had lots of extras trip to aquarium, safari tour etc) so now all I'm offered is 5 days on a bus and only 1 route is operational! No chance of a refund because they don't do them apparently. You can not provide the service I paid for so how can I not get a refund. They agreed to escalate the issue and I will here back within 14 buisness days... I'll have been to Dubai and back by then!

The worst!!
The worst!!! I bought my tickets with an extra fee because of the visit to the Aquarium at Atlantlis and when we arrived it was closed because of a private event! I tried to get my money back but the manager SEBASTIAN (if he exists) only told the lady helping us that it was not possible, then he decided not to pick up the phone and neither answer messages... I WANT MY MONEY BACK! You are too good to sell but you can’t solve a problem the same way you sell! When I make a trip I use Big Bus, this is the last time I buy from you because I feel scammed! Your book says the aquarium and lost chambers costs 165 AED so x2 you owe me 330 AED! I pay for what I get, and I didn’t get this part so I’M WAITING FOR MY REFUND!! Nobody told us that it was closed and this is not acceptable! I repeat I WANT REFUND!
And just to finish they make you lose a lot of time because the buses don’t arrive regularly between 20 or 30 minutes they are delayed mostly all the time!! 😡😡😡

Best decision to view Dubai
We decided to buy Classic Ticket + Aquaventure combined ticket. Visited Aquaventure for a whole day and used hop-on, hop-off tour ticket nex day without problems.

Unmarked Bus stops ,with no shade .The App inaccurate. Not enough buses with Air con upstairs when it was 95 degrees We bought a 5 day pass but only used it for 3 days

The bus experience is a must.
The bus experience is brilliant. So easy to move around. The tour guide on the Red Route was absolutely brilliant. Divine by name and Divine as a guide giving us much information in a light humorous way.
