Great product! A little smoke for around the first 5 minutes then great constant heat for around an hour. Perfect burn with no ash blowing around and just a fine burnt residue left after cooking.

My husband loves barbecuing on charcoal and smoking meats. Big K is his fuel of choice, he finds it let smokey when lighting than others so this is the go to for our house hold. I have made a few orders over the years and have never experienced any problems. Gets delivered quite quickly.

Big K used to he the Big daddies but not now

Ordered a pallet and of restaurant grade charcoal aftwr using for years with no issues and found package twine in 4 bags I've opened so far and thats what I could see god knows what I've missed.

Now Big k want me to collect the remaining bags and I have to carry them to the kerb for them to he collected!!!

Won't be ordering from them again sadly

The woodies are great easy to light and gets the charcoal going really quickly, the delivery service is spot on as a new customer can't fault the products

My ‘Go To’ for BBQ Big Lumps!

I’ve used Big K since I bought my Kamado a few years back and, even though I’ve tried other charcoal, their’Big Lump’ wood is the best by far.

And, with free (and quick) delivery when you buy just two big bags, I’m a real fan of what they offer and how they look after their customers.

Highly recommended.

Great charcoal for home bbq's, the 10kg bags and ability to buy in bulk keeps the cost down for a summer of bbqing.
The charcoal is easy to light with "woodies" and produces a good and even burn for around 40 mins, plenty of time to get my burgers and sausages cooked.

This is the first time in 8 years that Big K has let me down. Ordered 4 x premium grade 5kg bags to use on Big Green Egg. Only a few large lumps with the vast majority being closer to disposal bbq size. The Egg requires bigger lumps for long cooks, what was supplied is inadequate despite years of fantastic lump wood. Considering changing supplier for next order…

Great product - great service - my preferred lumpwood charcoal for all our bbq's

If you are serious about brai'ing (BBQ'ing), then there's no better place to stock up on your charcoal than Big K. I tried several "premium" brands from local shops, including garden centres, and they are all rubbish compared to Big K charcoal. Lights up easily, keeps temperature for long, food tastes amazing. For me it's a no brainer. I highly recommend Big K charcoal!
Also their delivery is reliable. Prices are competitive.
