After-sales support and warranty handling are non-existent.
Bought a Colnago frameset, which arrived with missing parts—and that was only the beginning of the issues.
1.Missing Parts: It took over 20 days after the frame was delivered to receive the missing parts. Bike24 refused to send them via express shipping (even at my expense) and offered no compensation or credit for the delay and inconvenience.
2.QC Issues & Gaslighting: The frame arrived with multiple quality control defects. Bike24 techs initially claimed they saw no issues. Only after I insisted on getting the manufacturer's official input did they suddenly acknowledge the defects.
3.Damage During Support: Following their exact troubleshooting instructions resulted in damage to the lower headset bearing.
The only options Bike24 offered were an exchange for a completely different color or a full return/refund. Neither option was acceptable, and Bike24 refused to work with the manufacturer to source a proper replacement.
Avoid purchasing high-value items from them unless you are prepared to handle warranty and QC issues entirely on your own.

Thank you for sharing your observation. I apologize for the confusion. BIKE24 initially only reservates the order amount via the respective payment provider. Only when the goods are dispatched, the amount is actually booked. This may appear as two separate actions on your payment overview, although it is one single transaction.

Good price. Very poor service.
The only good thing about Bike24 is the price.
Unfortunately, the service is poor and misleading.
They state that the carrier will call to arrange a delivery appointment, but in reality, the appointment is imposed and can be changed without the customer's consent.
The advertisement also says that the bike is delivered ready to ride, which is not true. I received my mountain bike with no inner tubes installed and the tyres were only "tubeless ready". To be on the safe side, I therefore had to take my bike to Decathlon to complete the setup and make sure everything was properly installed.

I regret to hear that no delivery appointment was made (or not respected), although we expressly demand this from the carrier company. We collect reports like yours in order to present them to the carriers to give them the possibility to make improvements accordingly.
Regarding your new bike's tyres, there is a good reason that no sealant was filled in yet. If the tire loses air while in the box during delivery, there is a risk that it will collapse completely inside the rim—that is, it will pop out of the rim’s seat. If that happens, the sealant may leak out and soak through the bottom of the box.
