I have $1900 in there and wrote them that the site is not user friendly, I need some funds from the money I have in there but am not sure of what I'm doing.
I sent them an email with the instructions to close my account and send my money to " my wallet address"

We deeply sympathize with your frustrating and distressing experience. We understand that you feel the site wasn't user-friendly and that you're confused about what happened to your funds. We'd like to address your concerns and clarify the situation based on our records and communications with you:

Non-custodial Service: As we explained multiple times in our conversations, Bitcoin Well is a non-custodial service. This means we do not hold any funds (neither dollars nor bitcoin) on behalf of our customers. When you purchase bitcoin through our platform, it is immediately sent to the wallet address you provide.

Your Transactions: According to our records, any bitcoin you purchased through our platform was sent directly to the wallet address you specified during the transaction. We do not retain any funds in an account for you.

Wallet Address: We checked the blockchain and found that the address you were using had been emptied. This means the bitcoin was received in the address that you provided and either you or a third party moved it afterwards.

Scam Warning: We repeatedly warned you about potential scam activities and asked for more information about your transactions. We also provided resources on how to protect yourself against scams.

Account Closure: As per your request, we closed your account to prevent any further transactions. However, this does not affect any bitcoin you may have purchased, as that would have already been sent to your specified wallet.

We understand this situation is distressing, and we sincerely wish we could do more to help. Unfortunately, due to the irreversible nature of bitcoin transactions, we cannot recover funds that have been sent to a wallet address, even if that address was provided by a scammer.

We strongly encourage you to report this incident to your local law enforcement. We're more than willing to provide any transaction information they might need for their investigation.

For future reference, we always recommend verifying wallet addresses carefully and being cautious of any third parties instructing you on cryptocurrency transactions. Our customer support team is always available to answer questions about our process before you make any transactions.

If you have any further questions about how our platform works or need any information for your police report, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.

Sincerely,
Your team at Bitcoin Well

It is very easy to buy through ATM...downhill from there.

It is very easy to buy through ATM. The problem the length of time it takes to deposit at other end. Today it is 7 hours and still no coins. Looking for another provider as that is just not acceptable. The challenge I have with most tech companies is their cavalier attitude. They think they can just abuse the customers and that is just fine. Zero human interface. The feeling I get? Maybe I am wrong but do not think so.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any frustration you've experienced and would like to address your concerns:

Transaction Times: Our transactions are batched to reduce costs for our customers. There's a timer displayed on the Buy page indicating when the next batch will be processed. This method allows us to avoid charging you Bitcoin transaction fees.

Expedited Option: We do offer an option to pay the transaction fee yourself for faster processing if you prefer not to wait for the next batch.

Transaction Limits: For security reasons, we implement transaction limits for some users. These limits can affect processing times or whether a transaction is processed at all. We previously communicated with you about this issue affecting your transaction. Your limits are indicated in your dashboard. Limits increase can be requested, although they are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Customer Service: We're sorry you feel there's a lack of human interface. We strive to provide clear communication, as evidenced by our previous explanation regarding your transaction. Customer satisfaction is crucial to us, and we're always working to improve our service.

We appreciate your patience and would be happy to discuss this further if you'd like to contact our support team directly.

Thank you for allowing us to address your concerns.

Best regards,

Your team at Bitcoin Well

My first purchase went through but…

My first purchase went through but never ended up in my wallet. So that's $900 they lost me right off the bat. All they can say is it went through and don't know where it went through to and the issue was resolved without them telling me where my bitcoin went. I had to call my bank to try to cancel my second transaction when they left it in limbo.
Stay away from their service.

We take your concerns seriously, but we must firmly address several inaccuracies in your review:

1. Missing Funds: Your first transaction was not lost. It was processed and sent to the Bitcoin address you provided. This is verifiable on the blockchain. We sent you proof in our communications with you, and it is also displayed in your dashboard.

2. Second Transaction: Your second transaction was not processed due to exceeding your daily limit. These funds were never deposited to our account and should be automatically returned to you by Interac. We have also informed you that you can cancel it through your banking app or by contacting your bank (which you did).

3. Communication: We have repeatedly provided you with clear information about both transactions, including blockchain verification details.

We strongly refute any accusations of fraud or theft. All our operations are legitimate and transparent.

We understand bitcoin transactions can be confusing, but making false accusations is not constructive. We encourage you to review the evidence we've provided. If you're having trouble accessing your funds, we remain willing to assist you in tracing the transaction.

For any further inquiries, please contact our support team directly. We will not engage with threats or false accusations in public forums.

Bitcoin Well remains committed to providing secure and transparent services to all our customers.

first time user of this system I…

first time user of this system I transferred money in today, got a fraud alert from the bank. it was 30 minutes before i got to it, and said yes. It appears the money is in my account. I was planning on sending it to a guy for rent. I did not give him the password yet. He said there was a problem that the funds are held. this is what he said to do. go to an ATM deposit the same amount into my account, then come back to my computer and sell all of it. How does that make sense? He said my money will be gone tomorrow if I don't go to the ATM to put more money in. I told him again, that makes no sense to me. Why would my money be gone and why would putting more money into the account change that. He said don't say i didn't warn you... I believe he is scamming people and using bitcon to hide. the only way I discovered this was I send a note to the AirBnb manager and asked her if she knew Luca Petrucci, she said, no never heard of him, she and her husband own the property and only rent on AirBnb, not long term rentals, then we knew it was a scam. Luca told me I have to scan a bar code at the ATM to deposit the money, I said who is the bar code with. He said because he made the reservation it had to go into his reservation number. I said, but that means my money goes directly to you. He said but that's because the reservation is under me. strange, if he owns the property and we are doing month to month why is there a reservation. I told him I did not want to go to an ATM machine and put in more money. He said well that he's going to write to Bitcon Well and tell them he told me I would lose my money and that he warned me. The whole thing sounding more and more like a big scam to me. so if anyone has some advice or support or information, I'd appreciate it. Will bitcoin Well take the funds I have in my account. Can Luca petrucci get access to that money I have in my account without the passcode? I don't know. I'm hoping not.

We are deeply concerned to hear about your experience with a scammer who was guiding you on how to use one of our Bitcoin ATMs. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We want to clarify some important points about our service and address your situation:

Scam Confirmation: The scenario you've described is indeed a scam. Legitimate property owners or managers would never ask you to deposit money at a Bitcoin ATM or transfer funds in this manner.

Our Service: Bitcoin Well operates non-custodial Bitcoin ATMs. This means we don't hold onto dollars or bitcoin. All transactions are immediately converted into bitcoin and sent to the address provided during the transaction.

Your Funds: If you were instructed to enter a bitcoin address at our ATM, it's likely the scammer provided their own address. Unfortunately, once a transaction is completed, it cannot be reversed due to the nature of Bitcoin.

Account Security: We don't have user accounts that hold funds. Each transaction is separate and immediate. There's no way for the scammer to "take funds from your account" tomorrow, as we don't store any funds.

Rental Scam: It was excellent that you contacted the Airbnb manager to verify the property ownership. This smart action helped you uncover the scam.

Report the Scam: We strongly encourage you to report this incident to your local law enforcement and to any platforms where you initially encountered this scammer (e.g., Airbnb, if that's where you found the listing).

Future Prevention: Always verify the identity of individuals you're dealing with, especially in financial transactions. Be extremely cautious when someone instructs you to use a Bitcoin ATM, particularly if they're guiding you through the process remotely.

We want to emphasize that Bitcoin Well would never participate in or endorse such fraudulent activities. We are in no way associated with Luca Petrucci. Our ATMs are designed for legitimate Bitcoin transactions, and we're dismayed to hear they were used as part of a scam.

If you have any questions about how our ATMs work or need guidance on using them safely in the future, please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team directly.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It helps us educate other customers about potential scams and the proper use of our services.

So far so good.

So far so good.
Opened with a crypto purchase and establishment of "cold wallet". Good service. Corporate representative was capable but not encyclopedially knowledgeable.
Will see what develops. Happy so far that security issues have been covered as best as possible.

Have been dealing with them for years. I prefer to know the person I give my money to in exchange for bitcoin. They are very helpful. I hope to see them expand into more coins and services.
