If I could rate less than 1 star I would!

My partner and I joined as students with a money back guarantee "no questions asked" to ensure this was a legitimate education program and more than anything, integrity based people.

Like so many of the other reviews show, Blackbury Capital did not deliver what they promised and eventually Jay Piggin was nowhere to be found and subsequently left the country.

Unfortunately integrity was a huge issue here with failed loan repayments and disingenuous guarantees, with an intent to fund a lifestyle of cars and BS social media, all whilst taking hundreds of subscriptions at any cost.

Having been professionally involved in their business we can only vouch for the negative reviews through the students who approached us out of distress and distrust, and also state that many of the 5 star reviews were actually provided by people who were working within the business at the time of doing their review and were asked to do it right at the beginning.

We successfully took Blackbury Capital to small claims tribunal and got our money back providing the "written guarantee" as evidence, even though Jay Piggin stated "I'm not giving your money back". His constantly verbal abuse, aggression and business practices were insufferable during our time of contractual engagement.

Jay Piggin is now running another business under the name of Jay Black (change of name is a huge red flag within itself) whilst owing hundreds of thousands of dollars to students (including pressuring kids under 18 to borrow money from their parents).

Liam who joined the company as Liam Orme and who now is called Liam Black (no mistake they both have the same surnames), also adds to the huge warning this review is intended to provide.

All evidence can be provided for this review along with other student names. Blackbury Capital were using Open Pay as their funding source, and Open Pay dropped using Blackbury Capital when they found out the "red flag" practices that were going on along with their preferred training platform, Eightcap.

I could go on forever with factual statements and recollections however the message here is to avoid, avoid, avoid, past present and future dealings with this individual.

Jay pigging is a massive scam artist.

He will convince you to invest in whatever bullshit program / company that he is selling that year.

He will convince you to get a loan to invest in his bullshit and then once he has the money he will become a ghost.

Numerous people are in the same boat and have had the same dealings with this greedy individual.

Jay or his blackbury team will try to discredit the bad reviews but I have all the screen shots and hard evidence to back up what I’m saying and what everyone else is claiming.

Do not do business with jay pigging!

While Trustpilot won’t let me set the correct date, I need to make it clear: this happened in March 2020, right at the start of COVID lockdowns in Melbourne, Australia — one of the worst times of my life.

I want to start by saying I followed Jay Piggin back when he was just posting gym routines and meal plans on Facebook, way before Instagram blew up. I respected what he was doing.

Then came this Blackbury Capital thing. I was personally contacted by Jay in an email. He told me about a new venture where he’d be offering lessons in trading, mindset, routines, and all that. He said if I was interested, I should sign up with Blackbury Capital and someone would call me.

This all happened when I was 25 years old, homeless, depressed, broke, and seriously on the verge of suicide. I was desperate for any way out.

Then I got the call. I don’t remember the guy’s name it could have been Liam or Lachlan or something, but he soundedll confident, polite, respectful, and like he genuinely cared. He asked about my background, where I saw myself in 5–10 years, and said I was an “uncut diamond.” He told me Blackbury was exactly where I needed to be — that I had raw potential and they could help shape it into success.

I felt hopeful for the first time in a long time.

Then he dropped the price — $10,000 for the course and personal mentorship from Jay. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money. He offered to reduce it to $5,000 and said I could pay the rest off after I started trading and earning money.

But even $5K was impossible for me. I could barely afford food or shelter at the time.

That’s when he asked if I had an Openpay account. I didn’t know what that was. He guided me through setting one up, step by step, and asked for all my details — name, address, phone, email, and even bank account info. I trusted him.

He told me I’d receive my first welcome pack and course materials within a week.

That was the last I ever heard from them.

No course. No welcome pack. No follow up. Just a $5,000 Openpay debt that I was now stuck with, for nothing.

I was at rock bottom, and they stomped on my head and then twist they're foot on my skull like a discarded cigarette butt. They pushed me further down. More debt. More stress. More pain. I thought I was joining something that would help me rebuild my life! Instead, it drained what little I had left and made for the next 5 years.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse — I went to Trustpilot to check their listing and clicked on the link for Blackbury Capital. It redirected me to BC Games — a gambling site. A literal online casino. That’s absolutely sickening. You claim to be teaching financial empowerment and mindset, and your name is now linked to gambling?

This wasn’t some fake Instagram scammer. I know who messaged me. It was Jay Piggin. The emails were full of “bro this, bro that,” pretending to care, acting like he was a mate. But it was all a setup. A trap.

You took advantage of a struggling 25-year-old during the COVID-19 lockdowns. That’s the lowest of the low. You sold me a some hope, inspiration, and left me with debt and shame.

I’m now 31, and Im still working on myself, I'm better, but I paid off the debt. I will never forget what you did.

This is when this atrocity took place — March 2020, at the beginning of COVID.

And I won’t stop until I get resolution.

I will keep posting this on Trustpilot, on Facebook, Instagram, the BBB, AFCA, and every single platform I can reach until this is made right.

You don’t get to vanish and pretend this never happened.

I want my $5,000 back. I don’t want your course. I don’t want your “mentorship.” I want you to pay! Scammer I will be releasing the emails between jay and I to the media if a resolution isn't reached. I even have our old Facebook messenger conversations.

Liam Black is now running the The Black Room ( trading company ) same as Blackbury Capital…most likely with the money we were robbed from Blackbury Capital. Jay Black still awol?? Not responding to any messages.

Hello everyone I started with Blackburry Capital in 2022 when it was run by Jay piggen Himself. I invested $20000 aud into a finance they recommended. It all seemed legitimate and professional at the very beginning Jay himself doing live trading and posting results of wins and losses scalping the market. But all of this come to a end very quickly. When I signed up for Blackburry Capital I was told I would get 1 full year paid off on my loan which even stated it in the Blackburry contract this was dishonoured and they only paid for 9 months of my loan. They changed their platform around several times also. They promised once we could show them we could trade their Capital they would fund us from 100k up to 600k I was told by leading members of the group. Not long after that they deleted their telegram channel which is where the program was originally run and went to an another chat called Voxer chat. I found it very difficult to navigate my way through voxer chat. Not long after that they transferred to discord chat. They also had another bloke named Liam black running the trading program which in my personal opinion was Jay piggen wannabe. If anyone has experienced anything similar to this and has a outstanding loan with no way of contacting the company please reach out to me so we can take legal action against this company.

I would love for Liam to reply or comment on here ? I am amazed its still going as i know personally (myself who have NOT been funded or successful or even had my loan paid back as per contracted agreements.) I know of not one person who got funded and there own Main man CEO stated so. Jay piggin black has disappeared and along with everyone's money, the algorithm never worked nor did signals , Jays calls went unanswered , jay blocked me from the paid program and group for stating truth and Andrew B was the only one who supported me albeit not financially along the way, peel back the onion and see the truth.

I joined Blackbury Capital in April 2023, borrowed money arranged through a broker by Blackbury Capital. Was told that loan repayments would be made for first 12 months. After 6 months the program was closed down .. allegedly by the ATO and their funds frozen. Loan repayments were missed however the founder remained in contact and said he would pay the loan out in full once the ATO released his funds. Some repayments were made until September 2024 however i had to cover some repayments myself …..hanging on the promise of the loan being repaid in full.
Since September they have stopped contact.
If this Company is legitimately functioning honestly then please get in touch with me and honour the promise to return my money so i can get out of this debt.

As someone who has previously been scammed by a trading company before. I can happily say BlackburyCapital is the real deal!
