We have an ever increasing range to suit all needs including single seater kayaks, double kayaks, fishing kayaks, inflatable kayaks, canoes and even a new range of SUPs (stand up paddle boards) They are stable, fast and comfortable with many features which make them a pleasure to use. Although some of our kayaks have been designed with fishing in mind, they are all fantastic all round recreational kayaks. They ideal for use on rivers, lakes, estuaries and the sea.

I love my Bluewave kayak

I love my Bluewave kayak - excellent quality with accessories. ordering was easy - communication re: order was excellent - very fast dispatch. Delivery was straight forward with the driver even carrying the kayak to its new home - looking forward to more adventures this year.

Highly recommend this company

We bought 2 SUPs over the phone from Blue Wave Kayaks to add to the 2 that we had already bought on a visit to their shop a year before. We did not hesitate to deal with the company again as they are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The 2 SUPs arrived via a reputable courier company within a couple of days even though our house is very difficult to find. The SUPs are excellent quality, 100% reliable and great fun. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and I am sure that we will be buying other products from them in the future..

Great price and fast delivery.

Stumbled across this place when looking for a high quality inflatable kayak, really good competitive prices across there whole range and offered the best price for the kayak I was looking for (single seat Glider kayak). The website was clear and easy to navigate, the product description was very well detailed with lots of information. Shipping was exactly as described and soon after purchasing I was emailed with my shipping details, overall my experience was very good and I have since recommended them to several friends whom I believe have purchased from Bluewave.

Robust and great fun to use

The tandem kayak I ordered arrived exactly when I was told it would. it was well packaged and is a great robust kayak. I use it at my holiday home and it is 'used and abused' by short term let guests and is still in great condition!

Adventures with my Bluewave Glider

I bought my Bluewave Glider less than a year ago and I have some interesting adventures with it. After I bought it and just to try it out I took it to the Marine Lake in Southport and it was great. Very easy to setup and and put away, and just so easy to use. After that though I took it out on a quiet part of the River Dee. It jut got better.

I bought the Bluewave Glider with travelling in mind and took it out to Benin in West Africa. So far I have explored Lake Ahémé and hope to take it out on the River Mono before too long. I am very much looking forward to my next adventure.

Disgusting customer service

Bought a Discovery Pumpkin from Bluewave a year ago. Recently did a 22km river trip in it and it kept tipping. At end of trip we discovered the body was full of water. Contacted Bluewave who agreed to have it picked up for technician to inspect it. After a few emails during which they told me that yes, it had arrived safely, and yes technician would look at it next day... they then informed me that technician was in fact away on holiday until the following week and they didn't know if he'd looked at it or not but he definitely would on his return. On the day he apparently returned I contacted them again to find out his conclusions only for them to admit that my kayak had in fact been lost in transit although a totally different one had appeared with my paperwork. So they had been lying for two weeks about it. Yes they offered to replace it but none of my choices are in stock until Sept. So I'm now waiting for my new one to arrive sometime in September and when I queried if they would pay compensation for me hiring one as I'd already told them I'm booked on a kayaking holiday their answer was a big fat NO... The customer services are ridiculously slow to respond to emails, sometimes 3 or 4 days, and the lies they have told are disgusting. 8 or 9 of my friends and family members have bought kayaks from them but I'll certainly not be recommending them to anyone else.

Do not buy a kayak from this company.

Do not buy a kayak from this company.
I have one of their Kayaks. Three of the 'bungs' to keep the water out kept on falling out. Our son , who was not aware of this problem, used the kayak and lost three of the bungs. He came back up to his waist in water, very worried about his situation, understandably.
These are dangerous and not fit for the purpose.
The same as a review above, the company would not honour their guarantee that they brag about on their website.
They said I would have to buy replacement bungs, £15 plus postage each.
Do not use these kayaks. The contented reviewers beware, it will probably happen to you also.

Lifetime guarantee, I don't think so!!!!

We bought two kayaks to be used on our small lake behind our holiday cottages. All good for the first year but then one of them sank, fortunately in shallow water and with an adult in it. Upon inspection I found two splits in the through drain holes that allow water to run out when used in the surf. Closer inspection and comparing with our other identical Kayak showed a manufacturing flaw. The wall of three of these through holes was extremely thin, the other kayak thick and strong.
The website states a quality product with a lifetime guarantee for their product. I contacted FW3 group and they arranged for the kayak to be picked up. The admin girl was excellent. 5 or 6 weeks past and finally after a few calls and emails I got a reply telling me that the damage was caused by loading the kayak onto their transport trailer incorrectly. I don't have one? we carried them by hand all of 25mtrs. I phoned and eventually got to speak to the "technical person" who then told me that it must have been someone jumping into the kayak which I could not say if they did or did not so agreed to pay £70 to have it repaired. Thinking about it overnight it did not weigh up so I did some tests next morning on the other kayak by positioning both ends on a block of wood and getting in and bouncing with my 80kg weight. The body of the kayak did not bend or twist, it was perfect. I contacted FW3 again to report my findings to be told that they would contact me, when I phoned again was told the "technical person" had now gone on holiday for two weeks. At this I asked for the kayak to be returned which it was reasonably quickly and repaired it myself in less than an hour. Great product as long as it does not require the lifetime guarantee to be honoured. Very disappointing service from FW3 group (top service from the Admin girl) I would recomend inspection of these through tubes as soon as the kayak is delivered.

Purchased a Bluewave Cruiser single…

Purchased a Bluewave Cruiser single inflatable kayak. Came next day as promised, but there was some damage to the kayak on arrival. Contacted Bluewave customer services, who were appologetic and arranged for a collection. The full refund followed shortly after they had received it at the warehouse. Can't ask for better than that. For information, apart from the damage which I assume happened in transit at some point, it seemed to be really good quality, with quality seat, pump and oars.

Very happy

Brilliant range of products that are worth every penny. Without a doubt the best quality products on the market. Speedy efficient free delivery is always a bonus and the customer service team were fantastic to liase with when querying the difference between the Cruiser and Glider models. Ended up buying the Cruiser and I am so pleased I will be purchasing another for the rest of the family. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Bluewave.

New kayaker

This is my introduction to sit on top kayaking, and it has been great to use on our local lake, and river, handles well for this novice paddler.

A previous review mentioned trouble stacking them on the roof of the car, we have this one and an almost identical one from a different supplier and have no trouble stacking them upside down on the roof of our car.

Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought a blue wave dart sit on top at the end of November in the sales - it was delivered well packed with the included accessories three days later. I was constantly updated by email and message and received a call an hour before delivery. Really decent lads who carried it into my garage as well. Kayak is currently being used in Kinghorn harbour, I can't recommend this kayak or company enough and l won't hesitate to purchase again from them

Would have chosen the ‘no stars’ option…

Would have chosen the ‘no stars’ option if that was possible…we ordered 2 kayaks and trolleys about 2.5 months ago. We were aware there would be a long wait as the company was waiting for a container to arrive to the uk. All good until today which was finally delivery day…we arranged to have the kayaks and trolleys delivered to our holiday home in the Cotswolds…cancelled work for tomorrow so that we could make the 3 hour journey to await delivery. The delivery driver got there before us due to traffic. We arrived to find 2 very small boxes and no kayaks. Just a tiny typed note from Bluewave kayaks saying that the kayaks are being sent by a separate courier. Given that my husband had been in contact with bluewave on several occasions to arrange delivery it was rather a surprise to discover that they had no intention of delivering the kayaks today. My husband called bluewave to find out what had happened to our kayaks and to express his frustration at the lack of communication about this. He was met with complete indifference by the person that he spoke to…she basically just said, ‘if you’re not happy, we’ll give you a refund’. Not really what we were looking for, having waited over 2 months for the kayaks to arrive in the uk and get shipped out. We feel that bluewave kayaks couldn’t care less about the customers and wanted to just give us a refund as they know they’ll be able to sell the products straight away to someone else. We feel let down and gutted that we spent nearly £1,000 with this company just to be treated with indifference and disdain. We planned to buy more kayaks but will obviously not use this company again. V upset and frustrated by their poor communication and lack of customer service/ support. Avoid! Don’t buy from this company as they don’t care about their customers.
