This is the second boat I have sold through Boatsales.com and has proved to be an extremely useful and seamless process. Great service.

I have been inundated with scammers. I really wish there was a place we could sell good quality items to those that are seeking a decent product - this does not seem like the place!!!

Shifty sales practices. They approved my ad, took my money, then cancelled the ad saying it did not meet their criteria then would not respond to requests for a refund. Totally dodgy.
Update: I did receive a refund in the end, thankyou.

If you want to buy or sell a boat, you go to Boat Sales ! Simple!!!!!

Super expensive and got more interest on Facebook and gumtree I know I do have notifications for boat sales when I look for a certain boat so might be worth it if cheaper or it isn't moving through other avenues but try the free sites first.

Easy Platform to use , editing my ad was very easy as I needed to modify with extra information based on questions asked by potential buyers. I could see levels of enquiry and the messaging system worked a treat enabling me to have multiple conversations going to negotiate my sale. Would absolutely use it again.

Boatsales is absolutely hopeless. I had a premium paid ad and I got one enquiry. That enquiry turned out to be a scam. I emailed you guys and you told me it was a scam. On Facebook marketplace I paid nothing, got heaps on enquiries and sold it. Boatsales is useless and an absolute waste of time and money. I want what I paid back because all boat sales was good for was getting me scammed from the 1 enquiry it created.

Simple app to use, low fees and no commission from sale

Complete waste of money, spent $300 on a add for a boat over $20K, not one interested party called, even though the add was looked at and saved by many people, put the boat on Gum tree for $75, had 6 contacts within a week, sold boat to first person who looked at it, Boat Sales had no interest in giving any type of refund or credit

The site for setting up the ad is still clunky (I have used it several times over the years) & the advertising costs charged by value of the item (in this case a boat) sucks. It does however get exposure to a lot of people.

My chat with Ruby was very precise and she was extremely helpful and solved my problem very quickly.

Not completely sure yet. We have had some legit buyers contact us but also contacted by a few private numbers referencing the ad (telling us to contact them via email) who are asking for details that we already stated in ad... including what is the lowest sale price we are willing to drop down to.

This is the second vehicle I have sold through this network. Why advertise anywhere else when this works, and works well.

Great place to advertise your boats. Just a little pricey

Boat sales allowed me to sell my boat in a downturn market place. We almost got the price we wanted so we were happy with the sale.
