Seems to be a well made product , Was relatively easy to put together . Just be prepared for large delivery and might have to have additional help or equipment to unload. Customer service has been excellent without a lot of buttons to push in order to talk to someone.

The team worked with us to meet our specific needs. They gave us a great product at a good price. Very happy overall.
Areas that could have been improved were around more detailed installation instructions. Had to go back and forth and do a bit of searching to find what we needed. The big pergola remotes had no explanation as to how they worked and how they worked with the small light remotes. Also, can’t get the Bond box to connect with the pergola lovers.
Works I buy again and recommend to others, absolutely. Very happy with the product.

We Love Our Villa Pergola!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our new Villa Pergola from Bon Pergola! It looks absolutely amazing in our backyard—modern, stylish, and super high-quality. It’s everything we ever wanted.

We went from wooden deck to pavers and added a pergola to protect us from the Chicago sun. It has completely changed how we use our outdoor space, and we’ve already gotten so many compliments from friends and family.

We installed it ourselves with no problem! During the building process, we experienced extreme heat, to wind and sand storm, yet the pergola held - even though we have yet to anchor the legs to the footing! The instructions were clear, everything was well-packaged, and they even held the delivery upon request until we finished our pavers.

Bon’s customer service has been incredible too. From the start of our project, prior to purchasing the Villa Pergola, we asked if we needed a footing and if there was an option to change the color of the lights that came with the pergola. Jeff was very knowledgeable and upfront about the requirements even though we expressed we were hoping we didn’t want a footing. Bon ended up supplying us with the lighting color we wanted and walked us through how to change it. Anytime we had a question, someone got back to us quickly and was super helpful and friendly. They also replaced the heater that it came because it was broken even though we were in receipt of the heater for over a month (without opening). It’s so nice working with a company that actually cares about their customers.

After spending a lot of time in researching custom motorized pergola contractors and other off the shelf pergola brands like Hanso, Pergolux, Luxury Pergola, Ovia and a few others I finally decided to go with Bon Villa Pergola. What led me to this choice was the price, availability of the customizations related to the height, smart sensors (rain/wind/sun etc.) and wide variety in motorized screens. Their installation instructions can be better but they are very responsive to the text/call based support requests and questions. They also didn’t try to sell me their most costliest models as they understood what I was looking for. I will strongly recommend them based on my personal experience with them.

Fast shipping and reasonable pricing. Overall a great product.

Did everything as describe in the manual and watched the video a few times. However, you need a third person when installing the side panels. I secured the first side panel with the supplied hardware as my wife was holding it and went to get the other side panel and my wife let go the first panel to help hold the second panel and a gush of wind blew the panel down. The hardware to hold the panel was not sufficient. Needed a third person. The bottom of the panel got damaged. Had to try to fix it by bending it back into place. I was not able to bend everything back in place but got most of it. The cover that hides the adjustment for screw for leveling does not sit correctly from the damage.

This is great extension to patio. Easy to install. We really enjoy it. Bought it with shades, which works perfect for sunny or windy days.

Went with the Villa 2.0, mainly because it could span the full 19feet without a center post. Overall, the unit is great and delivery was quick. I did have an issue with the screen having a small tear in it, seems the packaging could have been done better. I contacted customer support, within a week I had a repalcement screen. The support was great and responsive!!!
Couple things,
1) The 13x19 is big and heavy. On the delivery luckily the driver helped unload. If I was doing again I'd upgrade the delivery.
2) Assembly, 4 of us did the complete install (not including the blind) in under 4 hours. Have several ladders to make it easier.
3) If ordering the screen, the instructions as a bit laking, I found several versions of the instructions and used all of them. Once I figured it out it was pretty easy.
The finished product is really nice! Feature set is excellent and the company was great to work with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone buying a pergola like this.

I had been shopping around for Pergolas and reached out to multiple companies for quotes. David was the first to respond and answer my many technical questions and help tailor my pergola to exactly what we wanted. I found his responses quick and detailed and paired with the best quote, it was an easy choice going with Bon Pergola. We even ordered a 5'x7' shed in addition. Shipping was quick and with two doors damaged during transit, they offered to replace them ASAP without hassle. I highly recommend this company becasue of their beautiful products and incredible customer service!
