Nice hotel
Nice hotel, although limited menu for meals, and the headroom in the shower was very limited. Also the bathroom was very tired, two cracked floor tiles, no grout in between the tiles, paint mouldy in shower area

Booksibreaks - Port of Menteith, Scotland
The correspondence between our Booksibreaks representative and ourselves was excellent. They were especially helpful when, due to family illness, we had to re-schedule our break.
The location of the hotel we stayed in, although remote, was beautiful and the remoteness was, to some degree, just what we needed, at the time. The food in the hotel was also excellent - particularly the breakfast. The one downside was that we were not advised on arrival that our reservation included only the 'continental' breakfast offering so, when given the menu for cooked breakfast, we generally ordered from this. Subsequently we found that this was at an additional cost. This, however did not detract from our experience. The staff in the hotel were very attentive, informative and polite.
We had a very relaxing and pleasant time.

The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was good. My only complaint would be that we were told bed and breakfast but did not know that a cooked breakfast was extra. The room could do with an upgrade but the staff more than make up for the negatives

Hotel location was lovely the staff very friendly but the food side not so good. Over priced, and not much of a selection, when we booked we was told it was for B&B but what they didn't tell us it was a continental breakfast and that we would need to pay for a cooked breakfast which came as a shock when we went to check out and was presented with a bill for the 4days that we had a cooked breakfast which worked out at £18 each which is very expensive for a cooked breakfast and not very nice. The room we had was okay but it had damp in the bathroom and I would give the hotel a 2 to 3 star rating I have stayed in a lot better.

Not what it seems
The setting was really beautiful and away from any hustle/bustle. The staff at the hotel were lovely and really helpful. The agents had a very evident presence and our meeting was scheduled for the following morning. This was really not something I would go for to be honest - quite expensive for what was offered. Any luxury was not evident in the hotel. Our room was basic (which was fine as we had a dog), the shower did not work initially and had to be fixed, this was done promptly, The hotel was very tired and in need of refurbishment. The breakfast was good but expensive as were the meals. So there was little offered at this break that would entice one to sign up for anything.

It's a lovely hotel
It's a lovely hotel, due to its age it does have to odd teething problems, but great place to chill and unwind. Lovely staff to.
