Disappointed

Really disappointed in this product as it did not deliver on promise made. I bought the set for £35 as there was a promotion on. The products made my hair look and feel awful. I contacted customer service for a refund but was told as I had used it they couldn't do this. How can you try a product unless you use it? I am annoyed I believed the hype now

Poor customer service

Ordered a set of products from them which are of reasonable quality but not worth the price. I was then charged for a repeat order via a subscription that I didn't intend to sign up to; emailed asking for this to be cancelled and they said this wasn't possible and the products would have to be returned following receipt of them. I replied saying no problem and requested a free returns label (as written on their website).

Since then, I've sent seven emails over the course of a month trying to organise a returns label, yet this still hasn't happened. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but I've never had such a complicated experience of organising a product return. The products are reasonable but the customer service is dire.

Bought seal and shield curl defying gel…

Bought seal and shield curl defying gel from this company and worked great but had awful flaking. So had to stop using. Recently I email to ask if the formulation had been changed, which they said it had and no more flaking. And asked if they done samples which they don’t but give a money back guarantee. So I purchased via there Amazon store. And used the product again and same old thing flaking everywhere. I contacted customer services and have been completely ignored and no money back guarantee. As awful service as they do not stand by there guarantee on there products and the product has not changed at all same old mass flaking. Pretty disgusted and disappointed as will never buy again and will not recommend for anyone to use when they don’t stand by there claims.

Didn’t respond to emails, AWFUL customer service

I probably should have written this as a 5 star email as they don’t bother to respond to negative feedback, which is not surprising as they don’t seem to respond to any emails at all.

Firstly I made an order over a week ago, chose 48hr shipping. In 5 days the order hadn’t shipped. I sent an email asking why. The only response i ever got was “they were going to ask the warehouse why it hadn’t shipped”
Since then, nothing, no response to any of my other emails.
I’ve asked for a refund, no reply, I’ve asked for an update, no reply. Having my own business I don’t understand how you can survive giving such bad customer service to loyal customers.

I’m so disappointed in the way I’ve been treated, why couldn’t you have just been honest and explained why I didn’t get my order or what the hold up was? I’m STILL waiting for the refund, and I certainly won’t be ever using your products again.

Not that you care anyway, as you don’t respond to negative reviews. I just thought it would be important for others to see this, as I can imagine I’m not the only one who this has happened to.

stay away from this ecommerce

STAY AWAY! They inserted a wrong address, different than the one that I requested, so my $$$ order never arrived. I guess a human mistake can happen, but I never received any service or reply to the multiple emails I sent. One month after my purchase, I am still waiting for help. A terrible ecommerce, not to be trusted.

Don't purchase the 100ml bottles as a Trial - Not returnable

I ordered 3 x 100ml items (crème, styler and gel) with the confidence that I could return them should they not suit my hair type but have just discovered that the 30 day guarantee only applies to full size bottles). Without reading the T&Cs I was not aware of this so other buyers...please take note! All in all a waste of money as they are way too heavy for my hair regardless of the amount/combination etc I use them in so they will now be binned.

Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service - Thank you! The product I ordered went out of stock and I was emailed quickly with different options: refund or send on as separates (with no extra cost to myself) instead of a package/deal. I opted for the latter and my goods arrived the next day, along with some free samples too.

I am converted

I am converted! As a curly haired girl I have always been disappointed with curly haired products promising perfect curls but sadly they have never delivered. That all changed when I ordered from Boucleme. After my heat damaged curls needed some much needed TLC I decided to give Boucleme a go. The results were instant and I have never looked back! After ordering the 30 day pack, I have continued to order all of my curl care from Boucleme. My curls are defined, nourished and no longer look lack luster and dull. I also finally have curls that lift from the root, giving me gorgeous volume! I now cannot live without the Boucleme curl creme and also love the revive 5 oil! Fantastic results and worth every penny!

Ordered products and received less than…

Ordered products and received less than half of what I purchased. What was missing was over $80 worth of hair care products. I've tried reaching out to get my items and have not heard back. I think it's strange that the only way to contact this company with issues is thru email. A phone number would be helpful. It screams scam company and regret buying anything from them.

excellent shop

I don’t say it often but this was an outstanding service. Quick, friendly and efficient start to finish - from the shipping, to customer service to return/refund.

Unfortunately hair products didn’t suit my needs (although I have Boucleme towel and it’s great), however that’s an individual thing and not a reflection on the quality.

Presentation was beautiful and I’m grateful for the freebies.

Would definitely recommend.

I have friz-free curls now!

I love this stuff. I used to have a frizzy mess that would only hold onto curl if I stood very still out of the wind or used horrible hardening products. I wish I'd found Bouclème years ago! I've used a lot of the products now including curl cleanser and hydrating hair cleanser (top of hair/scalp only), curl conditioner (which I leave in - this is also new to me! Works like a dream) and the curl defining gel. Also tried the superhold gel but to be honest, the curl defining gel does the trick (lasts hours - even used it for my wedding and didn't reapply all day). Smells good too (very fresh). Can't see myself going back to other hair products anytime soon.

Love this brand!

I absolutely love this brand! It’s transformed my hair as I’ve been straitening it or ‘spiking’ it for years! My girlfriend told me to ‘embrace my curls’ so I tried the foam and super hold styler.
I can’t believe how many compliments I get about my hair (that’s never happened in my life 🤣)
Works brilliantly and smells lush ☺️

Amazing products even for stubborn curly hair girls like me

Love their whole range of products. I never knew my hair could look so good!
Since I started using Bouclème I discovered my real curls and my hair feels and looks healthy.
The products are really well done and they have an extensive line for every need.
I definitely recommend to give it a try. I was a bit hesitant at first but the difference is impressive. I only dread running out of product!

Horrible Customer Service

They may have good products but they also have the worst customer service on the planet.
They don't check emails, the only means to engage with them. In addition, they do have a dysfunctional website and a very biased reward system geared to their advantage and to the clients’. Once you try to use the rewards points, not only you have a first conditional restriction of spending £60 (that's a lot of money), the system bypass this and takes you to a forced checkout without making use of the points and/or wanting to complete the order.

I thought this was an error that has been made and I took the benefit of the doubt and contacted Boucleme of course via the only way to do so which is by email and asked to cancel the order immediately and explained what had happened. I got no reply. I contacted them via Instagram who in turn contacted customer service. However, instead of an apology and the desire to help and to rectify the situation either by cancelling or by using loyalty points, I got told off with harsh tone email and with a cut and paste redundant information from the website with nothing to do with my query.
Plus they said that they had packed the order and it is ready to be collected. Not sure why this cannot be cancelled and why don't they check emails first thing on Monday morning as what the norm is??!!! As much as there were already existing problems with this order so far, the disaster is when you start the return process. Everything is geared to the benefit of Boucleme and no appreciation to the customers' needs or the customer's protection laws. Check the similar experiences before you buy from Boucleme.
If you are contemplating shopping with Boucleme, read their returns policy and consider your options, this is if you have any with Boucleme.

In spite of knowing that the items will be returned and the return process has started, the lazy staff didn't stop it and ship it, by doing so they have incurred an added cost on the business and lost a client and the network associated with. This what happens when you employ dim and careless staff? or this is by your own design then Boucleme?

Boucleme, as result, is a business that doesn't appreciate loyalty and customers. Regardless how good their products may be, they are not worthy the support. Boucleme go and learn from the majority of businesses on how to treat and retain clients. Shame on you!

Little white lumps in shampoo

Little white lumps appeared in the shampoo. Contacted customer service and was told it was solidified coconut oil and I should rub it between my hands to smooth it out. Tried to but the liquid is so thin it just dripped into the shower tray and didn't incorporate at all. The shampoo now just clings to my hair and it look like I haven't washed it for a VERY long time. GROSS! Customer service simply rubbish and have no idea how to manage complaints - when a product fails it needs to be put right.
