Disappointing Experience with Bradfords
Firstly, I ordered an amount of fencing materials online. The posts, capping rails, post tops, feather boards etc, a separate fence panel and 4 bags of postcrete were all ordered and set for delivery. However, the website stated that the arris rails were 'not available for delivery' and only by 'click and collect'.
Having no other option, I had to order them (in the same cart ) via the C&C method.
When the rest of the materials were delivered, a couple of days later, I asked the driver why the arris rails were only available on click and collect? He said "there's no reason why they should be, as we have got loads of them in stock ".
When I went to collect the arris rails, I once again asked the teenage cashier, why this was the case? She shrugged her shoulders and simply said "Dunno!". That was all the answer I got. Not even an apology!
Secondly, one of the bags of postcrete, that had been delivered, had partly gone off in the bag. So I took the bag back, at the same time that I went to collect the arris rails back, to exchange it. I was told, 'we haven't got any in stock'.
Finally, I asked if they had any arris rail brackets, as I'd forgotten to order them.
She said 'I've got three'. I needed 8
So overall, a very disappointing experience.

Great service!
Service is great and the staff are always willing to help and recommend the right product for the job. Would be 5 stars except for the annoying website redirect bug that keeps on creating a "Too many redirects" error when searching for products.

Very happy
I didn't have an online account and this may have been why I didn't get a text to say my Click and Collect was ready. The Bradfords' people were great at following up on this, as were the people in the yard.

Good product, great service.
Good quality loam with few stones. The delivery driver was superb, dropping the bags exactly where required, with no disruption to traffic, in a difficult location.

Great Service Despite Computers being Down.
I arrived at the Ilminster branch to find their computers were Down. I explained that i needed my order that day. Luckily i had proof of my online order and the payment on my phone. So they were happy to allow me to take the order and would put it through the computer when they were working again. Quick, well priced and helpful.
Needed sand quickly and Bradford’s were great, delivered a day ahead of best estimate and very helpful with delivery to awkward location. Product was good value compared to local competitors.

Bradfords in Ilminster provides a convenient shopping experience with helpful staff and a well-organized ordering system. The delivery service, especially by driver Ben, is professional and courteous. Products are competitively priced, and follow-up service is consistent, although finding the yardman can be a bit of a challenge. Overall, a solid experience with room for improvement.

And the staff were very helpfull with my enquiries.
