I have been using Brain.FM for over 3 years
I have been using Brain.FM for over 3 years now, and it has been a game-changer. I will have it playing in the background using the Deep-Work mode for all kinds of meetings and focus time.
I see a drastic improvement in how I work when using it compared to using Spotify.
The music is forgettable but you kind of want it that way. It keeps my mind focused without distracting me with lyrics or harsh beats.
It also includes weekly streaks where the longest I have used it, at least once a week, is 50 weeks (so close to 1 year).
Highly recommend anyone to try their free trial out, just make sure to cancel if you don't enjoy it.

Music is good, the price isn't
The music is good, although I don't know if it really does increase concentration to the extent they claim it does. I had a 30 day trial and I was finding it very helpful for studying however I really wish they had an app for windows and not just mobile/mac because using a web player isn't great. It's really good and I did find it useful however there is no way I'm going to fully subscribe as it is WAY to expensive for what it is. I would recommend it if the price was lower. Unfortunate as it is a really cool concept. Also - you can basically get the same experience on YouTube with premium or an adblocker for a cheaper price and way more advantages.

Feel very focused and mindful
I am actually really enjoying brain.fm. I can really get into the zone when wanting to concentrate/work/study. It's very simple to start, simply press play and goes on indefinitely, so decreases time wasting finding music. Also, the 40-minute timer intervals is a great addition to help give you breaks if you want.

Gave me a headache
Unfortunately the music gave me a headache every time I listened to it. It was a real bummer. I also didn't find any music I liked to listen to and some of it sounded a bit spooky. I was hoping it would help but unfortunately not me.

Although I didn't use the service, I can confirm the customer service is amazing, and extremely reliable :)
Honestly, I forgot to use the service in my trial period. One day, I remembered about it because I was charged for the anual plan, I just had forgotten to cancel my free-trial subscription. I contacted the team right away. They replied very fast, and refunded me for the subscription, which I had cancel right before writing them. Although I didn't use the service, I can confirm the customer service is amazing, and extremely reliable :)

I tried Brain.fm hoping the music would…
I tried Brain.fm hoping the music would help me focus, but I honestly didn’t find it effective or enjoyable. The sound felt repetitive and distracting rather than calming or motivating.
What really frustrated me, though, was the billing experience. I attempted to cancel my free trial before it ended, but my card was charged almost immediately as I was canceling. It felt like the system was designed to make cancellation difficult or delayed just long enough to trigger a charge.
I reached out expecting a quick fix, but I’m still disappointed in how it was handled. Between the underwhelming music and the poor cancellation experience, I can’t recommend Brain.fm.
Follow up- They did respond quickly to my email. In the end, they did fix the issue.

I used to waste a LOT of time on YT
I used to waste a LOT of time on YouTube at the start of every activity in order to find the right kind of music. I realized today after I reached a 16-week streak that I never want to go back to that, I must have saved at least 1-2 hours a day, which is 7-14 a week, and after 16 weeks, that's at LEAST 112-224 Hours of my life back. Thank you brain.fm, for giving me back 20 days of my life already. You have a lifelong customer.

Very beneficial
I've been using this for a while now. I use it mainly when in the gym (the workout mix) and when working online. I find brain.fm helps me focus when, usually, I would get easily distracted or give up sooner. Very fair pricing compared to the other options available.

Massive difference
I'm only a week in, but I am seeing massive differences to my productivity, especially my wfh days. Keen to hear more about the science behinfd the product, and to hear more from users who have used intense focus for longer periods of time.

Brain.fm is the perfect experience for me. The music, the descriptions, and the science behind it is excellent. I love it so much and been using it for a week. The best brain music for a single time of focus, sleep, meditation, or relaxing. This website helps my life during times when I need to focus, meditate, sleep, or relax. This is a incredible website, 5 stars.

My brain found the brain.fm songs disturbing but you might like them
All of our brains work differently. I've just tested out various ones on brain.fm and none of them resonated with me. In fact they seemed disturbing/unsettling. But there also are a LOT Of ways to modify the songs and I didn't take the time to explore all of them so you may find you love certain ones. I was looking for additional ADHD music as I use a free one I found online that I've used for years and am very happy with but it annoys my non-ADHD partner so I have to wear earphones I was hoping to find one he liked too. But no! So we are all different. I'd suggest you do the free trial for several days, play around with all the settings and you may find one or more of the songs works for you. Hope you find your focus song. I find I get lots more done when listening to my song in the background.

I LOVE Brain.FM
I LOVE Brain.FM. AS a writer of fiction with ADHD, having soothing sounds of thunder and rain, or whatever else this very cleverly designed piece of software decides for me, help me to focus and zero in on my story. Thank you guys for your genius. I'm a subscriber for life.

Great app, honest company, good customer service
I like the features and the app itself. A bit on the pricy end, if I had more room for these types of investment I would've certainly continues using it.
I had to cancel my trial, but of course I managed to forget to cancel. And that's where they get you, right?
No. I reached out to customer service, explained what happened, and they canceled my plan and refunded my the amount that had been withdrawn.
Everything's a service nowadays, I get it. And amongst those services, there are so many who have predatory tactics to lock in users. It's refreshing to see a company with this business model actually trust the quality of their product, and not having to rely on shady tactics to lock users in.
They didn't even do the "Please write a review"-thing. I'm writing this a month later, completely unprompted!

Lasting Mood Improvements and Feelings of Wellness
Brain FM is one of the only apps that has not only fulfilled its claims but has exceeded my expectations.
I'm on day three of using it, and I'm discovering benefits that weren't even advertised, such as improving my mood, not only when I'm using the app, but even for hours after turning it off!
As a researcher myself, I've read up on the science behind Brain FM, and it's solid. I suspect the effects are long-lasting because sound impulses train my brain over time by creating durable neural pathways that mimic the moods reflected in the music, so that when the music is switched off, those pathways still remain.
What's more, I've struggled with depression due to complex trauma for many years, and I can attest that this app is as effective for me as long-term hypnosis therapy, more effective than CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), and has had more immediate and perceptible effects than anti-depressant medication with zero side-effects!
I really feel like this app gives me the power to reprogram my brain for wellness, and that, in a lasting manner. I've found a way to hack my brain!
Thanks, Brain FM! Stay Brainy ;)
