I am at the healthiest and fittest I’ve ever been thanks to Coach Darren.
I’ve been trying to loose weight for years and it only took 3 months with him to get here. But, dont get me wrong. This program is by no means easy. You have to put in the work to get the results. But what makes this program so great is that you gain so much knowledge and equip yourself to tackle obstacles during your fitness journey which i think is extremely important because when is life ever perfect.
Unlike other yoyo and fad diets/ programs, Coach Darren teaches a way of life that you can keep even until after the program is over.
Work-in-progress for young junior doctor
I completed a 3-month BBB program with Coach Darren and Coach Tyler:
Starting situation: 120kg + upset every time I looked in the mirror + secretly guilty every time someone commented "Oh you look very heavy, but it's fine for your height (197cm)".
What worked well:
1) Accountability - Having access to the ABC trainerize app, which acted as a central communication app for myfitnesspal and my sleep tracker (Withings), which allowed Tyler to check in on my progress. Tyler checked in with me daily and corrected my nutrition counting. Was also good to have Coach Darren on whatsapp to chat with for sensitive issues like binge eating and body dysmorphia.
2) Through calorie counting and being mindful of my diet, I realised that I don't actually eat very much!
3) Learnt about food labels and food product marketing - just because a box of cereal has the word "Healthy" on it, doesn't mean it necessarily is! Look at the fine print!
Even Better If:
1) If I was in the same timezone!
2) Price of the package was cheaper, especially for young professionals - Unfortunately I had to stop training with the BBB coaches due to not being able to continue affording the program
Results:
- Weight 120kg --> 112kg (after 3 months)
- Felt amazed after looking at the progress photos
Essentially, would continue if I had the finances (something to return to in the future)

I recently graduated from the 6 month program with Darren Liu and Kevin Teachanarong, and I can confidently say that it has been a game-changer for me. My overall experience was nothing short of fantastic, and I'm thrilled to give them a well-deserved 5-star rating.
Before joining the program, I considered myself an active person (worked out ~3x/week; biked/ran consistently), but my approach to fitness was scattered and lacked direction. I would constantly switch my workout routines based on trends I saw on social media, leaving me without a solid foundation for progress, and I didn't fully understand what to do when it came to nutrition. Honestly -- I am a totally different person now. My relationship to food has changed, I'm way more confident about what I'm doing in the gym (and understand why I'm doing it), my confidence is up, my coworkers and friends treat me differently, and I am looking better than ever (I'm down to <10% body fat and my abs are looking quite fantastic, if I do say so). I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a comprehensive and sustainable approach to fitness.
Still-a-Working-Progress Mom of Three
This review was a bit overdue but happy to share this with everyone. Worked with Coach Darren and Carlos since March of 2023 and no regrets ever since. The discipline I learned with tracking food intake, prioritizing protein amongst other food that I still enjoy even until now, and basically just being mindful of what my body ingests. Plus, squeezing movements every single day even with just steps, exercising especially on days when i don't feel like it, just putting in all the work. Most importantly reminding myself why I do this, makes the journey all worth it.
Thankful for this life-changing program that I was able to do and helped me evolve to a better everyday-habit instead of ALL the diet programs/fat loss supplement/body alterations that I personally went through, THIS one is the most sustainable for me and I hope it can reach more mommies out there who struggles the same way I did before.💛

I worked with Darren and Tyler for 6 months, and it completely transformed my relationship with food and with myself. My mentality has fundamentally changed and it paid off big-time. At the peak I was down 20lbs. Their approach is pragmatic, no BS, and evidence based to help you take control of your life. And that's just it, YOU have to do the work. There are no short-cuts, and no gimmicks. Just a reminder that you are what you eat, and to lift heavy stuff. Here are the things that I benefitted from the most:
- 50 grams of protein per meal for me was a lot harder than I thought it would be, so I learned to plan for it
- You can eat a lot of food if you eat the right kind of food. I was never hungry
- There is no such thing as on or off the train. This is lifestyle transformation
- I don't feel like anything was "off limits" as long as it fell within the daily restriction
- I took for granted how much walking a little bit everyday can help as part of a workout regimen
- When I had weddings/travel/whatever that got in the way, we planned for it
- We dealt with a bad week using the quarterback mentality....next play. That was huge for me
Admittedly I had a bad relationship with food before this program and that was the thing I benefitted from the most. Thanks gents!
6 month impact
I spent 6 months with Darren and Tyler - honestly didn’t know what to expect going into it. I knew my body was failing me and I didn’t want to follow that stereotypical path of a middle aged where one becomes soft and eventually a burden to my loved ones. I had the drive to do something about it, but not the direction.
Darren has created a pragmatic, and holistic approach to anchieving one’s peak health. You will learn about nutrition, sleep, recovery, and muscle building. And your results will be a direct reflection of your consistency and effort. First you will feel the difference, then you will see the difference, and then you learn to love the process. Best investment to myself in 2023
What an amazing fitness journey working with Coach Darren and Coach Kevin in the last 6 months. I was able to lose 22 pounds of fat, my waistline got 17cm smaller, looking leaner, building healthy life-long habits and routines. I kept telling my family that joining the BBB program is the best decision I made in 2023. I felt happier, more hopeful and energetic as my health and fitness improve.

Gale and Darren have been a delight to learn from and work with, I did not expect to see such results - it’s been transformative on a much deeper level than just physical (and the physical results have been insane to say the least). I always considered myself relatively healthy and mindful of my health. My peronsalized BBB included a workout regime that was fit for my home gym and then altered to then adapt to a commercial gym when I grew out of my home gym. They were there to help me each and every day at every step.

Improved confidence, contentment and knowledge
I learned a ton in the last 6 months, and really enjoyed conversations with my genuine, kind and supportive coaches- Gale and Darren. They offered consistent support and a lot of knowledge, and it was really great to see the results pay off in changes to my body, even if I didn't lose as much weight as I'd initially hoped. I do respect that the program is designed for lifelong sustainability however, and I do feel that I benefitted a lot in the 6 months and now have a "blueprint" that I can keep for life. Thanks to them I lost a few kg, developed a love of strength training, feel confident in choosing foods that are nutritious and beneficial for my body, and I am excited to continue in my journey of becoming a healthier person each day. I would definitely recommend joining this program if you feel lost about what and how much you "should" eat, as their support with nutrition and food psychology was really helpful. For me personally, doing the workouts myself without a trainer wasn't ideal though they do offer the option to video yourself so they can provide feedback on your form. I think the most important benefit I got from the program was contentment and joy- I was able to feel aligned in my life and like I was taking care of myself, and I knew who I could reach out to on tough days. Physical health mastery, effective and no-BS
Have worked with Darren and Tyler for 6 months, would say that it totally changed my physique.
The coaches took me through sustainable and effective education and process changes, that taught me the right way to eating, working out, sleeping, walking, that gave me full control of the condition of my physical body.
The guidance is also no-BS — they will provide exactly what works, but you've got to do the work. There isn't something for nothing, but they provide the exact things that get you where you want to be, and also manage your expectations so you understand how long it takes exactly. The Breakthrough Body Blueprint Program has been absolutely life changing for me! Going into it, I had some self doubts and fears that I was going to fail, but the plan that my coaches laid out for me was absolutely amazing. Really want to express my deepest gratitudes to Carlos and Darren for their excellent coaching in helping me reach my fitness goals physically and mentally. They really changed my whole understanding on living a healthy, balanced and sustainable lifestyle. Both coaches helped me develop a healthier relationship with my diet and taught me there is no such thing as “good” or “bad” foods, just smarter and more optimal choices to prioritize. I have always enjoyed exercising and lifting weights, but my diet habits of binging followed by restrictive eating caused me to pack on more fat than I ever had especially as I was getting older. After joining the program, I learned how to properly track my food intake and the results were staggering. I focused on lifting weights with progressive overloading, pushing myself 3x a week and did not have to spend hours at the gym like I used to. Worth the investment in me
This was worth the investment for me. I signed up with a big goal of losing weight that I gained in last 3 years. I lost 10 lbs of fat around my waist, hips and back (158 to 148 lbs) based on measurements. Clothes fit much better and I am more comfortable overall in movement. Most important is the mental shift, going from being hyper critical of self and blaming every circumstance around me for my weight gain to learning to focus on key habits, repeating them, and to just do the work instead of thinking or getting emotional. If I have a set back, to not crucify myself and fall off the wagon completely, giving up. Instead, it was going back to the guidelines coaches Darren and Carlos gave. They kept me honest and reminded me to focus on prioritizing my health and wellness, no matter what was going on. If I want to have an entertainment food, that’s ok. Make sure to track and remember the focus is on whole, high protein, nutrient foods. What I like the most about the coaching of Darren and Carlos is that when I did have non-optimal weeks, rather than criticizing me, they were supportive, encouraging and reminded me to refocus. There are so many demands in life from all sources, the last thing I needed was for my coaches to shame me into submission. These guys didn’t do that. It was a really positive and character building experience. They reminded me of the things I was doing well in those sub-optimal weeks. I think the biggest value in this program is the mind shift. The building of habits and to hold myself accountable as much as possible - for my own health and wellness. Thanks coaches 🥰

Great program
This program helped me a lot. I’ve done workouts and different diets all my life. But having a team with me, helping me all the way and making it easier on my busy lifestyle is a game changer. I learned a lot about the best way to relate to food at any circumstances.
LIFE CHANGING
I've always thought fat loss was simple: eat less and be in a caloric deficit. Never thought there was a "correct" or "easy" way to do it... until I found Coach Darren on insta. That was when I realized that I was mainly losing weight, not fat. I also thought the fat loss process was something everyone just suffered through. Thought it was normal to feel constantly hungry, mentally fatigued, and physically weak.
When I worked with Coach Darren (and Coach Tyler), I actually did confirm that fat loss should be simple. But simple only because of the Breakthrough Body Blueprint.
