Barista Express Grinder Failure / Easy solution
My 4 year old breville barista express grinder had stopped grinding coffee. Ultimately, customer support agreed with my assessment that the burrs both were worn down (upper and lower) and in need of replacement and they sent me brand new ones. I also replaced the felt disc at the bottom. My grinder is now good as new and we are very pleased with the outcome.

Coffee Maker with a broken delayed button
I contacted Breville about my coffee maker's delay setting button being stuck and unusable. My appliance was just out of the two year warranty. After speaking with customer service they addressed the situation with professionalism and solved it to my complete satisfaction. This is why we own all Breville coffee makers!

-Submitted a request for support with Breville coffee maker. Initially received quick response requesting a few questions to be answered. I answered same by responding to the email as requested. There was then no response for 3 weeks. Followed up with the online chat support. Same provided no explanation for the lack of response. After waiting 3.75 hrs for chat support. I was provided with a suggestion to try (which I appreciate) and the ticket was rapidly closed and chat ended before any follow up could be made as to whether the suggestion worked. The chat ended with the comment - reach out if the problem persists. I am unimpressed by this form of communication as now the original ticket is closed and a new ticket would have to be started and clearly another 3.5hrs of waiting to hopefully speak with someone.

They are just too many awful things about trying to resolve an issue with your customer service team. I really don’t think anyone in leadership at Breville cares otherwise you wouldn’t allow such terrible service conditions to exist. Spending time here writing them all out is just further torture from Breville.

I have had an issue with an immersion blender by Breville some years ago and the customer service was just as good. I love the products Breville manufacturers and I appreciate the company standing behind their products.
