After three frustrating days and several lengthy calls trying to pay funds into an ISA and set up a new account, the issues are finally resolved. Thanks to all those who tried to resolve the issues when the system repeatedly said no! In particular thanks to Julia and Kyle who helped resolve the ISA issue. And above all plaudits to Hikmat for his time and trouble, patience and perseverance in helping me set up a new account. He is a credit to the business.

I had endeavoured get access to my portfolio . Despite many attempts my user name and password were rejected. I spent almost one hour with
Murren ,a team member yesterday with no success. We tried again today and fortunately she was able to set me up . I am very grateful for the time she took and patience shown.

The service itself was excellent: everything it should or could have been.
As a separate matter, having nothing to do with the person I spoke to I would say that the web page doesn't make it entirely clear that staff are willing to talk you through this so I had a constant feeling that I might be asking to much. This feeling, again, had nothing to do with the person I spoke to whose performance was splendid,

I already had an account with Brewin Dolphin. But hadn't used the direct access for quite a long time. In the meantime I had changed my email address, sorted access to new systems and lost my old notes. Reviewer "held my hand" through all the new steps required and I now have direct access. Good job and a great deal of patience from the other end - especially in terms of step by step explanation. Thanks.
