I am extremely disappointed and upset with Economical Auto insurance department and broker link. They are proceeding to cancel my auto insurance because they stated they have sent me 3 registered letters for non payment. However, when I reached out to my broker at brokerlink in December they told me they would get back to me with payment options. They never did which resulted in Economical assuming it was okay to put my payments all together for the following month and telling me I had to pay an amount by a certain date. I made the payment but them adding my bills to make it way more than my monthly payments make no sense to me. I will never choose them again and as a single mom looking for insurance will be so hard. They are denying my right to pay and keep my insurance. Which makes no sense. All I needed was clarity and no one got back to me. I also made payments so I’m also upset that they are saying I didn’t pay.

I had to register my car today 2025-02-03 at Broker link at 1150 Cyrville Rd Suite 200. I met insurance agent innes. She explained to me my options and different coverages. She was very professional, helpfull, efficient and kind. I had great experience and would recomment brokerlink.

I know insurance places are usually looking to get as much money as possible but this company is terrible. Have been having issues with them since November when my policy changed by 20% and no one informed me (was told by a rep if it changed from 10-15% they were to let you know) and this just slipped their mind before my policy renewed for a year.
After confirming multiple different times with different reps the "estimate" was around $500 but when I got my actual cancellation notice it's over $1000. How is that an ESTIMATE when it would doubled!? People base their decisions off the estimate that is given and these people are ROBBING more money after the paper is signed.
I get that the reps probably get a lot of attitude but maybe if they didn't lie and was truthful about stuff there wouldn't be so much to be frustrated about.
After other people made multiple mistakes and gave me a wildly different estimate I essentially got "nothing we can do, pay up or stay in the contract". RUN from this place. DO NOT USE IT and DO NOT use GORE. they are CROOKS!!!

Great experience and great savings. Met with Darlene Markle of Brokerlink Huntsville and she saved me almost $1600.00 on my home and auto. A pleasure working with her and I highly recommend checking this broker out before you renew.

Spoke to Adreanna at the Milton branch. She was excellent in trying to help with a rather unusual insurance issue. Whilst, she couldn't sort out the problem she gave me insights into where I could go to find the resolution.

I highly recommend her for her knowledge and professionalism.

Amazing service. Marilyn Crane was incredible. She looked after everything I needed; she re-activated my insurance policy that shouldn’t have been cancelled; she made sure my insurance was binding over the holidays when not everyone was available; she walked me through insuring my new car; ensured my change of address for both home and auto was done; AND kept me informed every step of the way. When I was on hold, she would email me to let me know what was happening; when I got cut off, she phoned me back immediately. Just incredible. The epitome of stellar customer service. Gold medal or gratitude from me!!!

Horrible customer service long wait times unresponsive reps. I was sold a policy that the rep didn’t complete properly so the price was not accurate. I was never given my policy the pricing or any documentation. Once I questioned the new price being over $100 more a month and spoke with a manager they advised me he did not do his job and gave inaccurate information to myself and the underwriter. Sorry he will get further training. I was then left paying this outrageous price and threatened with a cancellation fee. I cancelled the policy and now there is more money owing! What a train wreck of a company big mistake moving my business here. Glad to be back with an honest provider that has proper customer service.

We were given a recommendation to go through Brokerlink for car insurance. We have been in Australia for the last 10 years, so coming back to Alberta we knew premiums were going to be high. The first time the lady just told me to send her a bunch of documents - didn't even go through the quote process with me on the phone, then quoted me $10,000. We were baffled. Nil follow up attempts were made from this broker. The second man we spoke to was super helpful and thorough - spent over an hour on the phone with me getting all the details correct. Got us a quote of $3,500. However, apparently the company didn't accept the quote. Then the communication died off. I requested help multiple times for the next steps. Nil effort was made to get our business. No follow up steps were given. When i asked for more quotes to different companies, it was promised they would be sent through - i never heard anything further. And we ended up going with a different company. We paid $2,900. Still wildly high but at least we got insurance! I was so confused why it was so difficult to get anywhere with the brokers from brokerlink. Really frustrating experience and I wont be recommending them.

They convinced me to overpay for car insurance from Intact, telling me it was the lowest rate possible. Now I've switched to TD and am paying half the price. They also reply very slowly or not at all. Do not trust them for your insurance needs.

Kaylie from the Glenmore location took months to reply to me for renewing insurance. I moved on and got insurance else where . Almost a year later brokerlink was asking for payment. Brokerlink is a very unprofessional business . Take my advice and stay away from Brokerlink .

I had just taken my car to be repaired. I asked Elisha to arrange a rental for me. There was a small difficulty obtaining a rental car reservation code. But that was readily taken care of.

I searching for a new insurance company because my premiums were getting too high with my past company. After searching for a few days, feeling fed up and frustrated with how the market is currently, I found Jamal M! He took his time and got me a quote that could not be beat.
Jamal is polite, has excellent mannerism and made the transition painless for me.

My Mother’s broker is Manasi Correa and she has been so helpful and efficient with all her needs. I would recommend this company and Manasi for all your insurance needs.

They pulled the wool over my eyes. The quoting broker gave me her personal number to contact and discuss about insurance. Where I declined a discount on a private call but got tricked into agreeing to it on a recorded call. Unfortunately for me it was a very rushed situation (do to other circumstances) but I won't let it happen again. Only after my insurance went up almost $1500 for the year did I realize what had happened. Even when I emailed her asking why my quote was $250 more than initially quoted there was no return email. I figured there was some misc fee and let it go. When I called Broker Link about the problem I was told I should have emailed their payment department about it not the sales rep. I didn't know that they had multiple different departments to deal with customers. Needless to say I feel like the victim in this situation, and might have to take this up with Ribo.
I noticed on the broker link website it says they have over 14,000 Google reviews at 4.5/5.0 but for some reason I can't seem to find a way to leave a Google review too.
To anyone that reads this the biggest life lesson I can take from this is not to agree to contact this company unless it is by email, that way you don't have to depend on their (so called) recorded calls and you have your own records. Also if you have made the mistake I have there is still a place in Ontario you can contact if you feel that they have taken advantage of you. RIBO is the name and it stands for registered insurance brokers of Ontario.
