When I opened the box and saw all the various cables, I thought this is going to be too hard for me, however after watching a YT video it all made sense.
I installed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the hardest part and most fiddly is removing the radio, heater/ac etc module from the old bezel and installing it correctly on the new bezel, however there is a YT video covering that, there are a few hidden screws.
Thanks to Tommy I got everything sorted, he was fantastic with his responses.
Great product and great service

The customer service was really quite excellent throughout my whole process. After I accidentally bought the wrong unit they were extremely patient and helpful while assisting me with getting my return and refund sorted, and promptly sent the correct unit.
Patrick J in particular was very helpful as they guided me through the whole process from start to finish, replying quickly in a professional manner with effective solutions for all of my questions.

Thank you so much to Patrick for helping me through the installation of the head unit into my car. I had some difficulties along the away and Patrick went out of his way to assist me, guide me through it, consult with the tech team and responded promptly with relevant and clear instructions to assist me. The after sales service from Patrick has been impeccable. It is rare these days to have such fantastic service, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you Patrick and the team for getting everything sorted. I am very happy with the head unit and outcome.

This is my second review of this product, as we needed to contact Brummstadt again once we were on the road and acutally using the unit. Initially we had all sorts of issues, some to do with the unit, and some to do with us not knowing any better. Patrick patiently walked us through everying, over an 8 week period, which included me sending him videos of what was not working as we would like it. On all occassions he was able to provide a solution. I think we have finally got it working as we would like it, although I have warned Patrick that he may still hear from us again in the future.

Had a few technical issues with my unit. Tommy from Brummstadt quickly looked into my problem and produced an effective fix for the issues I was having!

Installation was easier than expected the only problem I had was sorting out the steering wheel controls which Tommy sorted very quickly and easily.

amazing after sales support. I have a few different brand android units in our fleet, and this is by far the superior unit and worth the money.

The brummtadt CarPlay dash setup is great. I ordered the 9” with the surround and reverse camera. I was very pleased with the size and function of the unit, works really well and makes the biggest difference to the front of my Van! I was a little unsure of how easily I would be able to fit it as there were lots of components, however once I actually opened it all up it was quite easy. There are instructions available on their website and I reached out to the service team and Patrick was great. Very quick and helpful response from him.
Overall I’m very happy with my system!

To say I am happy with the help and support I received when I ran into some issues with my unit connecting to car play would be an understatement. Tommy went above and beyond to ensure we were able to fix the problem by providing me with detailed and consistent solutions until we were able to fix the issue. Absolutely exceptional customer support from Kevin both before purchase and after, but especially in resolving any issues I had during installation very very quickly with clear instructions and to my 100% satisfaction. I'm glad I chose Brummstadt for my head unit and would recommend them for a quality product and excellent service.

Unfortunately the infotainment unit sent out arrived with the wrong facia to fit my vehicle. Receptive to my complaint, on examination of the photos I sent of the facia misalignment, the company acknowledged their error and sent out a replacement facia. While it may be some time before I can fit the new facia, the company has indicated their commitment to continue to provide support through to successful fitting of the unit. Throughout the process the service and assistance provided by staff (Patrick) has highly professional, friendly and supportive. Despite the initial mistake, I would certainly do business with the company again.

The Guys were great the backup service was excellent.
I had a few hiccups, but they promptly sorted them out.
The Prado head unit is amazing.

The service from start to finish was great. Kevin is a great guy to deal with, quick replies to my emails and great advice to over my problems with installation etc.

I had initially only reached out regarding a minor technical issue to which I received immediate and helpful support. Through the conversation, I had mentioned that I accidentally cracked the screens cover glass around the reset button and the Brummstadt team offered to replace the head unit for free. They provided paid postage details so I could return the unit with the cracked screen and provided a replacement new unit immediately.
Greatly appreciated and an amazing example of what real customer care and service looks like.

Beware that these head units will only run the apps that come with it. Every 3rd party app we have tried so far fails. We bought it on the basis we could run other apps from playstore, so it really doesn't suit our purpose at all.

Tommy was really helpful and assisted with all our questions.

The support service from Brummstadt Support Service was nothing short of outstanding. The help provided enabled me to complete the installation faltlessly. There is no way I could have successfully done it without the help provided. It certainly took the stress out of the installation and gave me every confidence in the Brummstadt brand. Brilliant head unit, and brilliant staff, i had an issue with the microphone and kev helped me out. They arent wrong about lifetime tech support, highly reccomend to anyone
