When enough people caught on to this scam the owner of the business changed it to Nadiasendsaid on TikTok. Do not buy anything they’re selling. You may or may not receive a fake tracking number.
They changed the footer of the order confirmation email “If you have any questions, reply to this email or contact us at makayabrushes at yahoo dot com”
Previously it said michaelll.alexxx at gmail then switched to makayasbrushes at yahoo dot com.

The scammer has multiple fake gofundme, TikTok and shopify pages including michelleeeintexas, brushes by grace, brushes by Makayla. The real person behind this is Mahogany Smith using AI reposting the same video. She may hide behind a fake T-shirt printing business called mxm8brand or mxm8brandd.

This business is a scam. A young lady name Makayla claiming her parents are kicking her out because she wants to start a business selling self cleaning brushes instead of going to college. The video shows she starts living in her car, showing the brush, how it worked and the link is in her tiktok bio. On her tiktok page it’s the same video posted repeatedly.
I placed my order August 2nd. At that time there were only 2 options available for brushes either 1 brush for $25 or 2 for $42.50. I did get an order confirmation email and I waited a week for the tracking number. Never received it. I emailed them yesterday asking about the tracking and when am I supposed to receive this. No response. Now the website has more options for purchase buying 3 or 4 brushes at a time for a discounted rate along with free hair products.

I did my own investigation. At the bottom of the order confirmation email says, “If you have any questions, reply to this email or contact us at michaelll.alexxx at gmail dot com”

I thought that was strange because the owner is suppose to be Makayla. I looked again on the website. It’s called Brush Away. When I looked at the order confirmation email from the sender it says Makayla’s Brushes but when you click on it to reveal the email it says store+95306875202 @ t.shopifyemail dot com

I looked to see if the business was registered in the state of Texas, Makayla’s TikTok profile says she’s from Houston, and there are no businesses registered under any of those names. Brush Away, Makayla’s Brushes, Brushes by Makayla.

I reported Makayla’s tiktok page, made a video about it on my tiktok page and now it’s shadow banned. I tried posting a tiktok story about it and tiktok shadow banned my stories too.
