Booked this as a Christmas present for…

Booked this as a Christmas present for my mum and her partner. On arrival they were told it was cancelled due to low numbers despite getting an email the day before saying it was confirmed and too late to cancel. No refund offered. Paid for a cab to get them there too. Website still selling tickets for the cancelled event. What a scam!

Had a last minute cancellation no empathy

I booked to go with a friend at a local pub. I can't drive for medical reasons so this was long looked forward to as a rare night out treat. Not cheap either with cost of living so I booked her ticket. Sadly I had to go to A&E that afternoon for emergency investigations and was left in no state to attend the evening and could barely let my friend know in time to get her to find someone else to go with, on a school night as well, it's difficult for us mums. Because of the Ts and Cs I knew we wouldn't get a refund but I hoped, given the circumstances we could rebook onto another session but it was a cold unempathic reply. The review I left on Brushparty is unvisible, they only show the 5 stars so I felt compelled to share my experience here. She didn't even offer to drop off the canvas and materials we paid for. Total rip off.
