Very Frustating

Everyone of my devices constantly have interuppted wifi issues, i have to enter my password everytime i come home on my android. In short the BT wifi is slow, erratic, and frustrating. Customer service? Extremely poor to non existent. I will be changing my wifi provider. My advice, Avoid BT wifi.

ITS A SCAM

TERRIBLE! My WiFi randomly went down last week and they kept saying they will reconnect it! More than 15 hours of con mini sting with them saying the same thing the whole of last week! And my WiFi is still not back up. Changing my service provider!

Not even worth the single star

Not even worth the single star. Surprised a company allows a product as bad as this to further trash its reputation.
A bit like a friend who messes you around so much you stop talking to each other forever.
Wi-Fi bought out of necessity, drops out multiple times an hour. Frustrating for simple tasks, would be mind blowing bad to attempt anything complicated or important.
Year 2021 and it is amazing that such a bad unreliable product is allowed or still available.
Free WiFi from restaurants, fast food and street locations a much better option.
Steer clear.

This is awful

This is awful. 75% strength, so I paid my £17.99 for 5days until my broadband is installed. I would have been better throwing a twenty pound note out the window, at least then I'd have known I'd get nothing for my money.
Wish I'd read the reviews first. BT your about to get another complaint!

Cannot connect to the Wifi!

Signed up for the one-month BT wifi subscription. Cannot get online for most of the time. When my devices does connect to the Wifi, it keeps logging out of the BT Wifi network. I would not recommend BT Wifi if you need a solution for internet connection even for a short time. You might be better off going for a dongle and a prepaid data plan elsewhere.

Rubbish

Rubbish, Paid BT just under £40 for a months wi-fi, either 2-3 bars strong or one, mostly one, keeps dropping out, got an old dongle from EE (must be 10 years old) and strong connection all the time, but limited with the amount of data I can buy or want to pay for.

The speed is 25kb/s

The speed is 25kb/s! And when you'll try to get your money back you'll get redirected to an endless loop of help pages, missing pages, 'please call us but we're not working right now' etc. Don't bother to email them back on the order confirmation, that's another black hole. Nightmare!

Absolute rip off

Absolute rip off. I paid for a day use but wifi would only connect for a minute. I tried to lodge a complaint and guess what, my name/password is not recognised. So, reset password and bt still doesn't recognise me even though they sent me the new password. Absolute rubbish!!!

Stay away from BT.

Changed to BT as Sky Services was getting bad. Wish I hadn’t! BT’s broadband checker online and the app are rigged at 39mb. I took video evidence to prove so. Broadband Checker from “Which”. Best tool around. And you can compare with neighbours, then they email your results. Which speed check ranging between 1.8mb (I know, disgusting considering the price) and 13mb. Yet seconds later BT’s results were a constant 39mb, all lies! Cancelled BT contract early as they had failed to meet their guaranteed speeds, and then they tried a sneaky D.D. Just 7 days after paying my monthly bill, my final bill is £642.47. Cancelled it straight away. Like they’ll be getting that for a lousy service. Then they asked me to return hub, tv box etc.

Let them know you are aware of the Sale of Goods Act - Consumers Rights - Unfit for Purpose. By law they haven’t provided you the service they guaranteed and you paid for, therefore you can cancel your contract without penalty. Just be sure to have evidence to back up your claim.

Moved house and needed temporary wifi

Moved house and needed temporary wifi. Google search brought me to bt wifi hot spot which I thought was good idea. Signed up in August £15.00/month using the service just proved very frustrating. The minute I move to the corridor, the service drops. You have to constantly log in now with more of us are under lockdown conditions, it's harder to get on line. Sometimes you can't even log on. Then in November the price changed to £20.00/month without any advance notice..tally unacceptable. Trying customers services is a joke. I don't even know what are the cancellation fees. Am having to pay for EE flexible monthly top up which additional cost I dont need. All the time I have been using the service, no one has contacted me but they keep telling me you can upgrade to bt sports..
