Consider walking to the post office

Consider walking to the post office, queuing up and purchasing a second class stamp. Find a pen and some writing paper and proceed to jot down a message to your mate. Put the message in an envelope, seal it, address it and stick on the stamp you just bought. Walk to the post box and post the letter.
This is a more efficient and reliable way to contact someone than by using a BT hotspot.
I looked at the prices and thought..'Blimey, that's a bit steep'... 3 quid for an hour. But on consideration thought maybe it would be worth it for a while especially as my TalkTalk connection was out again. (Grrrrr). Well, was it worth it?
Bullocks is it and bullocks it is. Quicker to write a letter.

Bring back dial up!

I managed to find a hotspot , not easy. I have BT at home so get it for free. App signed me in and ...... nothing . Totally useless!
I resorted to this because "award winning" (BT) EE network was not working properly.

One star is too good for BT

One star is too good for BT, Ofcom should really get involved and stop them ripping people off, selling “hotspot wifi” tell you it’s great....then they get your payment. Just to note all there helplines are also closed, Please please don’t give them your hard earned cash.

Wifi

Possibly one of the best providers I've had for WiFi. Very rarely does it get cut off most the time I get the speed I was promised its alot more stable than most others I've used before I would recommend.

Horrible Service and Engineers

Have been expecting an engineer to come for days now. On the scheduled appointment day he does not show up and then later claims he rang the doorbell but no one answered. A blatant lie, I was home all day and the bell worked for a delivery driver who was dropping stuff off. He then promises to call and reschedule which I am still waiting for. Absolutely useless, I am paying for the wifi, but am not getting it. Would not recommend using BT.

Absolutely useless and a total money…

Absolutely useless and a total money rip off. I would have rated no stars or zero stars if it was possible on here. Cannot connect even when right next to a hot spot and then if you do manage it will dro out within the first few minutes. This is a scandalous scam from BT.

it’s not worth any money

wouldn’t even give it one star to be honest it’s that bad, had to use the BTWI-FI hotspot while my actual wifi provider isn’t currently working it’s not worth paying the money to use the BT because of how bad it is. It’s painfully slow, constantly disconnects and expensive do not pay for it

This is unusable!

This is unusable!
I have been having issues with my provider, and while they get it sorted, I wanted to use this as a replacement so I could continue working from home.
It will log me out randomly anywhere between a few minutes to an hour on my PC making it impossible to do my job with this.
On my phone it's even worse, I still haven't been able to have a stable connection for more than a few minutes.
With the prices they charge (£20 for 5 days) this is completely unacceptable. I would advise anyone against paying for this and instead buy extra data packs from their phone provider and use this as a hotspot instead if you need it for your PC.

Very bad experience. Poor service.

I really needed internet because my provider had cut mine off early before moving properties, and I decided to try the BT wifi Open Zone. That was a big mistake. It took me so long to upload some files I really needed to upload, it constantly disconnects if I leave the bedroom area, constantly asks for sign ins, horrible over all. The price is also way too expensive, I regret paying it. I knew BT was bad, but never knew it was this bad.

Avoid!

My ISP is having issues and we have a hotspot for this right outside the house so I stupidly paid for 30 days access.
It's breathtaking how rubbish it is, 1980's dial up would make this ISP look slow. Signal seems to drop out constantly.
Doubt there's any hope for a refund.
Avoid at all costs.

Used to be good? Terrible now.

It's absolutely ridiculous how expensive this broadband costs for bad, slow connection.

The Wi-Fi can only handle up to 3 devices-- anymore and it'll stop working.
It also often turns off sporadically and for NO reason, and can take up to days to finally start working again.
It's weird, because initially the Wi-fi seemed pretty good; It was satisfyingly smooth and did manage things like consoles and computers well. Not anymore. It's horrible, and I'm on the last straw to calling them up and complaining about it.
