Rather than having a simple 'cancel your service or transfer' on the website you have to be directed to an online agent. What essentially should be a five minute process took 42 minutes. Utterly rid... See more

Shocking. The bt wifi hotspots just simply don’t work. They constantly disconnect. Or connect with ‘no internet’ if only BT weren’t the monopoly (before anyone says otherwise most providers use BT) th... See more
It's absolutely ridiculous how expensive this broadband costs for bad, slow connection. The Wi-Fi can only handle up to 3 devices-- anymore and it'll stop working. It also often turns off spora... See more

BT Wi-fi with FON (None)
I use BT Wi-fi with FON the speed on YouTube videos has been okay but every time I put my phone down the Wi-fi connection is lost so when I do unlock my phone I get a backlog of stuff coming through. What’s that all about. Today Saturday morning I can’t catch the signal at all. You would think an old wealthy company like BT would be up to scratch with their technology to keep people happy and connected. Far from it. I will try it for a week or two and maybe cancel it. So far not very happy.
Mobile wifi thing is just irritating
I needed to get wifi access while out and about and BT kept popping up asking for £4 for an hour's wifi. I tried three times to get hooked up to it, but each time it failed to take my payment, or sent me back through a frustrating loop.
They really are just rubbish. Doubt they'll care coz they'll still make billions in profit.
Extremely rubbish
You can’t even watch a 10 min youtube video without it disconnecting like 3 times or it being very slow. It disconnects every 2 minutes and when it is connected it’s so slow. Don’t get this wifi. Stupid ‘wifi’
Completely trash not sure why im still…
Completely trash not sure why im still paying for this garbage service.
If I could I would give it 0 stars
Seriously!
Paying 35 pounds a month and the wifi strength is crap. The speed just drops every time. I don't know how they get away with this. Terrible wont recommend any one!!
I don't know how BT gets away with…
I don't know how BT gets away with advertising this service which truly is a way that they use to get buyers for the BT service this Wi-Fi with FON is a gimmick it does not do anything it does not work it it is absolutely rubbish I think it is false representation in advertising and I think the Watch Dogs should be reported to about BTS use of advertising regarding BT Wi-Fi with FON and all these so-called millions of hot spots is an absolute lie
If I could give it Zero stars I would
If I could give it Zero stars I would, but sadly no option to.
I have paid about £40 for the month until I get a real provider, but it is driving my totally insane. Im in central Shepherds Bush, west London, so hardly in the sticks. The stupid thing drops out about 4-6 times an hour. I then have to wait a few minutes, and go through the whole process of selecting provider, select BT Fon, type in email then password (none of my 3 devices or partner's device can remember these details when they do for everything else), wait , then hopefully back on, but that can last only minutes and here we go again....It sounds trivial but the whole point of it is that is should work...uninterrupted. I work from home on the computer so it's driving me potty. When it does work, it is painfully slow, unable to stream. Just cant wait to get hooked up to a real provider.
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Slow (3.5 mbps), unreliable, no customer service. Completely useless. AVOID.
It’s such rubbish
It’s such rubbish, it doesn’t work at all! You’re better off turning airplane mode on!!!!!
They charge a premium price for 1 days…
They charge a premium price for 1 days internet and then cannot provide the service. The connection speed will transport you back in time to 1998. I've given up using the internet today it is so slow. Literally can't even open an email right now.
BT WiFi with FON - NO REFUNDS!
BT WiFi with FON: A WARNING! Be aware that once BT/FON have taken your money for this 'service' and you then discover that its network reception at your location is so weak that you cannot use it, BT will NOT refund you. You'll find hidden away on its website a disclaimer that if you can't access its wifi, no refund for you. I paid it £8 for 24 hrs of WiFi when my broadband was down. It was worse than being on dial-up and I gave up within 10 minutes. BT and your business partner FON, enjoy sharing my £8. I hope that this public Review was worth it ;-)
Logging into BT WIFI
Gone to my parents for a couple of days. I took my laptop so I can work from there, oh think again!! Logged into WIFI (which ive done many times before) and I can hardly do anything because every time I try to log in to something I get ''Welcome to BT Get online with Smart Setup'' ............................ infuriating!!! I just want to use the internet why is this happening. Ive important things to do and so much time wasted, logging in and out trying to type the address again etc. Can you ever quickly find someone to contact ask why something is happening??
Dodgey service
I am a BT Infinity customer so get this as part of the package. However, when out and about I have found BT WiFi spots and found they are very very slow. The difficulty is that all BT Home Hubs now have Fon and BTWiFi leaching from the hub. If I lived near a coffee shop this would really annoy me because my house speeds would be slowed down. That said it is better than no internet.
Useless
No customer service and forced to use this because BT Broadband can't install my line for over 1 month. It's costing a fortune and even in my strong signal area the speed is worse than dial-up.
