I wish it was easier to design. But I blame myself for being bad at designing tools. Another thing i struggled with is APIs, i will be returning when the market place has what i need.

Terrible support
Good concept, unreliable product, awful support.
A company that had potential, but has no future with the awful level of support
I was robbed by bubble.
I canceled a plan with Bubble before the end of the free trial, and the cancellation was confirmed, and after that, I was still charged the same way. Then I have reported the error, they promissed me a refund but now they don't want to pay the refund. I was robbed.

Not Intuitive - Canceling Trial Didn't Work - Was Charged
This was not intuitive to use. I had way more success on Thunkable. I wouldn't have left a bad review, however, I thought I had canceled my Bubble.io trial, but no. The process of canceling was not intuitive and I was charged as a result. I couldn't find a contact email to reach out to support about the cancelation. I wouldn't recommend trying Bubble.io as a result. So tired of that kind of experience.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Bubble, an online service provider, for unauthorized charges to my Visa debit card and failure to cancel my subscription despite multiple requests. The company's actions have resulted in financial loss and significant frustration.

Timeline of Events:
January 24, 2024: I initiated a 14-day free trial with Bubble for their Starter Plan. I was under the impression that the trial would not automatically convert into a paid subscription without explicit consent.
February 7, 2024, to September 7, 2024: Bubble charged my Visa debit card monthly fees totaling $273.22 without my authorization.

August 13, 2024: Upon noticing the unauthorized charges, I contacted Bubble's customer support via email, requesting the cancellation of my account and a refund for the charges.
August 13-22, 2024: Despite multiple email exchanges with Bubble's support representatives, including Charish and Glen, the company refused to issue a refund, citing their policy against refunds once a trial converts to a paid plan.
September 7, 2024: I was charged an additional $34.46, increasing the total unauthorized charges to $273.22, despite my explicit requests to cancel the subscription.
Issues of Concern:
Unauthorized Charges: I did not authorize the continuation of the subscription beyond the free trial period. There was no clear communication that the trial would automatically convert into a paid plan without my explicit consent.
Lack of Notification: I did not receive any billing notifications, invoices, or reminders from Bubble regarding the charges during the trial period or thereafter.

I had a very disappointing experience with Bubble.io regarding unauthorized charges that I believe were unfairly applied to my account.
In January 2024, an app was inadvertently initiated by my child, resulting in an automatic subscription to their Starter Plan after a 14-day free trial. Despite never logging into the platform or using any of its services, I was charged CHF 32 monthly for 8 months—a total of CHF 256.
When I reached out to their support team to explain the situation, stating that the subscription was unauthorized and unintended, they refused to issue a refund, citing their refund policy. I understand the importance of having policies in place, but this situation was an exception, as the subscription was initiated without my knowledge or consent, and no services were ever used.
It’s worth noting that other companies in similar situations have shown flexibility, especially when subscriptions are initiated by minors or when no services were utilized. Unfortunately, Bubble.io stuck rigidly to their terms without offering any form of accommodation, leaving me feeling frustrated as a consumer.
While I appreciate that companies have policies, I believe a customer-first approach is crucial when such exceptional situations arise. Sadly, my experience with Bubble.io showed a lack of understanding and flexibility, and I am left with no choice but to escalate this issue through other channels, including my bank and consumer protection.
For these reasons, I am rating Bubble.io 1 out of 5. I strongly urge potential users to be extremely cautious when signing up for their services, as their policies leave no room for customer-friendly resolutions, even in clear cases of unintended charges and unused services.
Unprofessional and untrustworthy
You can see how trustworthy a company is when it comes to payment. With this company the moment you downgrade the plan you lose all the remaining days that you have already paid for! It shouldn’t even be legal, you pay for a service that you can’t use. I wanted to take a pause from my project now I’m simply moving to a better provider.

The platform in general is slow and unreliable, there's been times where the autosave feature just doesn't work and the app crashes, and I've had to spend 2 hours working on the same thing again.
Recently I apparently started a starter plan free trial. I don't remember doing this, but I'm sure it probably was me. The trial came to an end and I was charged. I cancelled immediately so that I wouldn't forget and it wouldn't renew again. I also requested a refund.
They outright refuse to provide refunds for lapsed trials. On top of that, when you cancel / downgrade your app's plan, you lose the services immediately, so now I'm not only paying for a plan I don't want, I'm not even getting the services I paid for?
They're refusing to reinstate the plan or refund me.
Very bizarre company. I'm taking this further anyway because this violates so many consumer regulations in the UK / EU.
And judging by the fact they don't even bother responding to the terrible reviews they receive, I'm inclined to believe that they just don't care anymore.

I was initially attracted to this app platform, but my experience quickly soured due to several problems.
A system glitch caused my first two app creations to fail, and even after the third attempt worked, and I was still on the trial, I was unexpectedly charged three times after the trial but I cancel the trial before it expired 😅
When I contacted support, they refused to compensate me for the overcharges, even though I expressed my desire to continue using their service and simply requested a voucher to offset the erroneous charges.
To make matters worse, their cancellation policy means you lose access to your app immediately upon canceling, even if you've already paid for the current billing period.
I strongly recommend avoiding this platform and seeking out alternatives.
