Locked out of my account

Locked out of my account. They’ve billed me for 3 months, even though every single month I’ve messaged there support to cancel and refund.

I’m not a web developer

I have done some basic web development courses in early 2000 but development was never my profession, im into travel trade since last 18 years and now developed fully functional CRM for my team, and now uploaded booking system which im personally building with bubble.io
The only drawback of bubble now is work load calculation and charges are now going to be higher as i move forward to mass site visits

Decent Interface but Poor Support

I upgraded my Bubble account, expecting my $3,000 credits to apply first, as said on the billing page. Instead, I was charged $134 instantly with no warning. Support has been unresponsive. If credits don’t apply first, why claim they do? Feels misleading and cheating.

Bubble might be a great no-code platform, but their billing system is unclear and their support is unresponsive. Double-check before upgrading to avoid unexpected charges.

Edit 1:
Day 3—still no resolution, just “waiting for an update.” At this point, I’d suggest using other tools. Plenty of alternatives out there.

Edit 2:
I've got the refund now, but its a lot of struggle, I gave them 4, bcoz the interface is decent but needs improvements, their support is okish needs a lot of to and fro, if they can just give a estimated time of resolution that would be really helpful.

Misleading practices

I feel compelled to express my frustration with my recent experience on Bubble. When starting the free trial, I was drawn to a large, eye-catching dark blue button, only to find out later that in small, nearly invisible gray text, there was a disclaimer stating I would be charged $32 after the trial period.

Upon contacting customer support, I was informed about the charge, but all they could offer was an acknowledgment of my frustration, with no attempt to resolve the situation. This feels like a clear example of misleading practices, and it's incredibly disappointing. I urge others to be extremely cautious and thoroughly review all terms before committing to avoid going through the same experience.

I only came here because I heard about…

I only came here because I heard about you guys mobile native app program, but it still not out yet. Join a waitlist that don’t give you any updates and I had to learn about paying additional money for every app you make.

It will work, but it won’t look polished.

Solid for technical web apps, but when it comes to design and visuals, it’s a real challenge. Responsive design, in particular, is frustrating, and many basic CSS features aren’t available natively. The UI feels outdated and isn’t user-friendly, with very (very) limited shortcuts.

That said, Bubble made it possible for me to bring my idea to life. Still, as soon as I can, I plan to switch back to Webflow.

They don’t notify you when they charge you hoping you don’t notice.

After my trial period expired, which admittedly I forgot about, they started charging me. The problem is that they don’t send you emails when they do so, if you are not using the app (I only used it once or twice at the very beginning and then forgot bout it) they make it impossible to realise you are being charged unless you carefully check your credit card statement. When I asked for a refund they refused to refund even the last month (I asked for the refund 2 or 3 days after the charge, which should still be within the EU Customer protection law). Also, no invoices was available on the website and I resulted subscribed to no paid plan.

Sorry that you ran into issues. Our systems send several emails but maybe they got lost along the way? We did improve our cancellation flow recently so that you can cancel at any time and keep access to service until your plan's expiration date. For trial-conscious users we recommend you cancel early so you can both enjoy your trial days and not have to worry about your late day before being charged. Hope that helps!

Practice abusive

Complaint: Abusive Practices on Bubble
I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Bubble. My account was used without my consent, which is already a violation of my rights as a user. But the issue doesn’t stop there: when I tried to unsubscribe, it was impossible to do so.
The option to delete my account, which should be accessible to everyone, simply doesn’t work. This seems to be a deliberate tactic to force users to remain subscribed against their will. Such practices are not only unacceptable but also contrary to ethical business practices and respect for users.
I demand an immediate resolution to this issue, an effective deletion of my account, and assurances that this will not happen again.

R3dsarl, I think there might be some confusion on how our plan cancellation works: the app plan was canceled successfully by our chatbot, and will not be charged. You might be seeing in your profile that you still have an active plan but this is because the app plan will be downgraded at the end of the trial period (as expected). Users who cancel their app plans will have access to their app's paid features for the remaining duration of the billing cycle.

Finally a dev env that can keep up with…

Finally a dev env that can keep up with me! As a 20+ year coding veteran it is nice to not have to do all the plumbing yourself. I have worked on AWS projects before and there are LOTS of detailed plumbing.

I am super excited about the mobile capability that is being rolled out.

My only challenge is the workflow is not as robust as I would like. I would like to be able to abstract more with the Reusable elements across types. That being said they just pushed a major update that really moves it towards begin able to do that.

Extremely Disappointed with Refund Policy


I recently signed up for Bubble and decided to trial the service. Within just 30 minutes, I realized it wasn’t what I needed, so I stopped using it. However, I was still charged $32.

When I contacted their support team to request a refund, I was informed that Bubble does not issue refunds, regardless of how much or little the service was used. This was incredibly disappointing and felt unfair, especially since I barely used the platform.

I understand that companies have refund policies, but this one seems very rigid and not customer-friendly. Losing $32 for a service I didn’t use has left a bad impression, and I will not be using Bubble again.

I hope this review helps others understand the risks before committing to their service.
