Easy to use and connected with the right company.

Easy to navigate website, excellent tradesperson I connected with right from the start, and I was delighted to see how well this works from all sides.

I was disappointed with my experience applying for a Builderscrack account. My application was declined due to alleged associations with other accounts that had previously been removed from the platform. To my knowledge, I personally did nothing wrong, and the explanation provided was very limited.

While I understand that Builderscrack has a duty of care and internal risk policies, the process felt overly rigid and lacked transparency. There was no clear evidence shared, no meaningful opportunity to address or resolve the concerns, and no consideration of changed circumstances.

As a genuine tradesperson trying to operate professionally and fairly, it was frustrating to be permanently declined without a clear or proportionate review process. I respect Builderscrack’s right to manage its platform, but I believe there is room for improvement in how applications are assessed and how decisions are communicated.

I hope Builderscrack considers implementing a more transparent and balanced review or appeal process for future applicants.

Thus is an excellent service. I like that you are advised to get more than one quote . While I didnt use the tradesman this time, as I was fortunate to have a friend do the job for me in the end, I was very impressed with Wilfred and the professionalism from him,and Builders Crack . I highly recommend using Builders Crack.

The system allowed us to find what we needed and book it - The thing I was disappointed about was the limited number of options in reviewing the tradespeople. This is a system problem, and it is a lot simpler to add additional fields to the question response list to give people a better opportunity to choose their rate.

It was difficult finding someone to do this small but necessary job as we have no tow bar on vehicle so this site was a great find

Builderscrack works, but the token overage system needs fixing.
When my tokens ran out, the platform still allowed a connection and I was automatically charged an overage, even though the job didn’t lead to any real engagement or chance to quote.

Contractors don’t really have control once the system processes the connection. Connections should stop when tokens are exhausted unless the contractor clearly opts in to an overage. That would improve transparency and prevent unexpected charges.

Sharing this as constructive feedback a small system change would make a big difference.

My experience using Buildercrack three times now for 3 separate projects is many of listed sole trader trades are unreliable time wasters who don't turn up for meeting or don't follow thru with quotes. I found 50-60% of those that visit site don't reply or follow up, full of excuses, car crash, wife in hospital etc
Other issue lot of replies to work ads are from 'tradies' that when question have no experience or trade background, just hoping to BS getting work from inexperienced customer.

Gave me suggestions I would never have known about and I was able to find the perfect company from the start

What a great way to get a job done! Ours was a small job, but Builderscrack arranged for three builders to compete for it. The one we selected was excellent, and we wouldn't have found him without their help. The system is straightforward and easy to navigate, and ensures you get a good match with a suitable tradesperson. There are a few other little tasks that need doing around our place, and it's a sure bet we'll be calling on Builderscrack for their assistance.

Excellent fellow and service recieved. Quick, thorough and a reasonable price.
