I'm so glad we chose Bumblebee birth and would 100% recommend the Bee Ready course. It was very informative and a great way to meet other parents to be. Sam has a great sense of humour and made the classes fun and my partner and I came away feeling well prepared for becoming new parents. Sam was also there providing reassurance and support when I had concerns about my labour. Thank you Sam! :)

Sam’s classes were absolutely amazing! They were packed full of important information and useful tips- she really knows her stuff! We finished the course feeling confident and prepared for birth, feeding and baby care and it’s great to know that Sam is around for any questions that pop to mind as well. As well as that, Sam is super down to earth and made sure we all had a laugh whilst learning. I couldn’t recommend the Bumblebee Birth antenatal classes enough, they were truly invaluable. We’ve left with so much knowledge, with Sam in our corner and with a great group of new parenting friends which is exactly what we had hoped for. Thanks so much Sam!

As a first time mum I found Sam's classes amazing! They were so informative and she went through everything you need to know, from labour to infant care.
She is so friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met. I have been telling everyone about our classes!

Sam is incredible, so knowledgeable, informative and caring - I can’t believe how much we learnt during our sessions, I feel empowered and ready. I would highly recommend Bubblebee Birth to anyone expecting, she is truly fabulous with an excellent sense of humour.

And Bumblebee Birth! Myself and my partner did the Bee Ready antenatal class which was really informative and made us both feel like we were as prepared as we could be for becoming parents.
We ended up having some complications during the birth and Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and also available to answer our questions both during and after which was so helpful and reassuring for us!
Worth every penny and cannot recommend highly enough!!!

I did lots of research before choosing which antenatal classes to attend and all I can say is I’m so pleased we chose Sam.
The classes are engaging and so informative. My husband and I finished the classes feeling very knowledgable about what was to come and I definitely finished the classes feeling empowered and clued up on what was to come. Sam is so easy to speak to, no question is too silly and this goes beyond the classes. She was also on hand to answer my questions when I thought my labour was starting which was so reassuring to have someone to speak to! A very personal touch and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Thank you for making the whole process a breeze Sam! Especially during the pandemic!

These classes have been so amazing for me! I did the Bee ready, hypno upgrade and the Bee relaxed. I was previously very nervous about going into birth, but now I feel empowered and educated! Bee relaxed has been especially helpful in preparation for the active birth I want. Sam is such a professional and really goes above and beyond to support her mums. I don’t always let people know my concerns, but she makes you feel so comfortable to open up and communicate. Consequently, a lot of my anxieties were verbalised and addressed. I would definitely recommend these classes if you have suffered a previous loss and are struggling with anxiety with your rainbow baby. Thank you so much for everything! X

I can't recommend sam enough! I have been to bumble bee relaxed on her yoga course and it was so so lovely. I am quite a nervous first time mum to be & having that relaxing class to look forward to once a week has been so beneficial to me. It really helps you focus on your breathing techniques, positions for Labour and is such a friendly and calm atmosphere. Every week there is a topic which is discussed which is so informative and reassuring to discuss as a whole group. I feel much more prepared and positive for Labour having done this class, thanks again sam. Don't hesitate to book girls, you won't regret it xx

I can not recommend these classes enough!! My wife and I feel so empowered and ready for childbirth and early parenthood. Sam has been an engaging, informative, caring and funny presence over the last 5 weeks it really has been a joy. Looking forward to putting what we have learned into practice! Thank you so much!!

It was a pleasure doing the Refreshed course plus Hypnobirthing with Sam. Sam is super knowledgeable, cheerful and a great teacher.

We had so many questions and things we were uncertain about in our situation (VBAC), Sam was able to answer everything in a way which both reassured and inspired confidence about our options and possibilities.

We both feel confident heading into the birth and are very happy we chose Bumblebee Birth!

Sam was absolutely amazing, calm, friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and caring. I felt confident going into labour knowing the tools I learnt in her classes especially when it came to breathing and being in the right position for labouring my baby. I had a natural birth without pain relief and I genuinely believe these classes helped me achieve this. I would highly recommend and if I'm lucky to have baby number 2 then I will be booking up again without hesitation. Thank you Sam :) xx

This is the second prenatal course I’ve done, having done one four years ago with NCT. I wish I’d found something like this then, as the course was far more informative, supportive and non-judgmental than NCT. And despite going through pregnancy and labour before I felt like I learnt so much new stuff through this course.

My partner also found the course really helpful and practical.

Sam was a great teacher. Supportive, informative and really down to earth. Having the pandemic break out half way through the course I thought Sam went above and beyond to keep us informed about the changing midwifery environment and offering us the opportunity to ask her questions and get her support out of the classes. She even set up a regular catch up for us mums to talk to each other and air our concerns and anxieties which was so nice.

Prior to giving birth it was suggested I have an induction due to my baby’s weight and growth. I turned to Sam for advice. She was a huge support and was there to talk it through and answer my irrational questions, which I’m truly grateful for.

In short, I’d really recommend this course and Sam - she’s awesome 😀

Sam is an amazing instructor. We were unsure about whether we should do the classes, wondering if they would be worthwhile. They really were! From the first class Sam makes the group environment so welcoming to all. No awkward icebreakers or forced conversations. No question was stupid or limited and we appreciated how much Sam drums it into you that she is available for a chat whenever you're worried about something. My baby was a total lockdown baby so I've unable to go to any baby groups. Doing Sam's class meant I've been able to meet and keep in touch with lots of other couples who are in the same boat. I can't thank Sam enough really for being there, being supportive during the pregnancy process and even after. Her honesty and friendly approach made these classes so worth it!

Sam supported us through a rather unusual journey involving surrogacy that was abroad. I was blown away by the amount if research she had done in advance both of the country and expectations during birth in a foreign country (and she was spot on!)
We were given advice on the birth, how the surrogate will be coping and feeling so we can show compassion which was so important to us.
We then had a second session how to to look after a newborn, key things to look out for and even how to clean a baby bottle. As complete novices and first time parents I cannot Express how valuable those sessions were.
I cannot recommend Sam enough!

I joined Sam’s class after a shout out on a local Facebook group - I was in desperate need of a hypnobirthing class as my anxiety about my forthcoming labour was crippling. So many mums recommended Sam, and I can now understand why!

After just a couple of sessions I was a totally different person! I felt so calm and empowered, and positive about my birth, whereas before I was full of fear. It amazed both myself and my husband how quickly my mindset changed in such a short amount of time. If it wasn’t for this class and Sam, I’d probably be popping anti-anxiety drugs and crying all the time. I practised my breathing and yoga exercises most evenings, and actually started sleeping better too!

Despite my midwife and a consultant recommending I give birth in the labour ward, I was adamant to have my son at the MLU at the QEQM (birthing pool) - that’s where I had my daughter and wanted to go back there. This was made possible because Sam gave me the knowledge and confidence to ask for the grey area form at my birth plan discussion, to know that I did have a say, it wasn’t just down to the midwives to make that important decision. I wouldn’t have known that I could do that if Sam hadn’t empowered me. So our calm (quick!) birth where we wanted was a result of her support and guidance.

We went to Sam for the birth of our second child - she supported my husband and I and I also did pregnancy yoga with her. I couldn't rate her more highly - she gave no nonsense information and support ensuring we felt empowered to make the right choices for us and our baby, I just wish I'd met Sam for our first baby!

My wife and I attended Sam’s antenatal classes. The classes not only provided knowledge and information around birth, labour and looking after a newborn, but also empowered us to make key decisions during the whole process. This became invaluable for us during labour. In addition Sam’s support outside of the class has been reassuring and available. No question has been too small and no problem is too much trouble for Sam. She made us feel like we always had someone to turn to, which has been amazing as a first time Mum. Sam really has been the most incredible support.
We also made some good friends that have helped us get through this time.
I would highly recommend Sam’s classes.

We both enjoyed the antenatal class we did with Sam.
She provided us with lots of useful information and advice regarding labour, birth, and newborn handling.
It helped us to understand what was going on during the labour that allowed us to make informed decisions. Labour can be quite a stressful process and having this information was empowering.
Sam is open and easy-going yet very knowledgeable and professional. She loves what she is doing and would go an extra mile for her clients.
