We are a family-run business providing chainsaw and forestry products to both professionals and home users. With over 25 years of experience in the arboriculture industry as skilled tree surgeons and foresters, our hands-on expertise means we only offer products we truly understand and use ourselves - both in the field and at home. We've been serving customers online for many years, starting on eBay in 2006 as a new retailer offering high quality, low priced chainsaw chains delivered straight to your door. We were also among the first to launch a dedicated website, offering a wider range of products and a more personalised service. In 2020, we sold that well known, long established business and took a short break travelling Europe on our motorbikes, a long-time dream now fullfilled! Now, in 2025, we're proud to launch Burden Arb Chainsaw Chains - building on nearly 20 years of e-commerce experience and over 10 years as an authorised Oregon main dealer. We continue our mission to provide quality products, outstanding value and friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Everything available on our website is actually in stock and ready for immediate dispatch with FREE delivery across the UK, including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands at no extra cost. We also provide sameday dispatch of all orders placed online before 2.30pm and we have no minimum order value. We specialise in Oregon chainsaw chains, guide bars and sharpening tools for all types of chainsaws, along with a wide range of arborist and forestry accessories. We're always happy to offer advice and answer any questions by phone or email.

Excellent service from Burden Arb!

Excellent service from Burden Arb! I was replacing my Echo pole saw, bar and chain with an Oregan bar and chain. Karen went to every effort to ensure that the bar and chain size were correct. Both fitted perfectly and I cannot recommend the service from Burden Arb more highly, thank you!

I ordered a chainsaw bar and chain but…

I ordered a chainsaw bar and chain but had made a mistake with the compatibility. Burden Arb phoned me and corrected the order before delivery and couldn't have been more helpful.

Can’t fault them

Can’t fault them. Great service. Had a personal phone call when they noticed that my bar and chain didn’t match up. Most places would have just sent them without even thinking. Will definitely be using again. Thanks

over & above the call of duty

who has time to research the bewildering number of different chainsaw/bar/chain combinations ahead of trying to convert a small chainsaw into a planking mill? not me, so lucky i stumbled across these guys, who answered my technical questions quickly & comprehensibly, saving me hours of time in pointing me to the bar i needed, even though it was one they don't actually stock, & also providing a link to the appropriate chain for it, which they do have. fast, free delivery on top of that, & i'm away! i'd always prefer to use a small company with real people in charge of it, doesn't always prove feasible when you're looking for obscure or specific things. but this time it did. thoroughly recommended!

I am extremely pleased with my purchase…

I am extremely pleased with my purchase and the level of service provided by this company. They identified and corrected an issue before I was even aware of it, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and customer care.
Karen from customer service also took the time to call and explain the situation in a friendly and professional manner. Her approach was so natural and reassuring that my wife assumed I was speaking with a friend. This kind of personal attention is genuinely appreciated.
I will certainly be purchasing from them again. Having dealt with many companies across the UK, I can confidently say that Burden Arb stands out—like Hesperus in the night sky—as a clear example of how customer service should be done.
