Nuance - zero communication and delivered warped!

This company own or are affiliated with Nuance. We had a query prior to purchase and messaged them via their website - never received a reply. Our plumber ordered the wall panels for our shower, which arrived warped. He said that this wasn't the first time that this has happened. He was able to fix them to the wall using a lot of adhesive and by wedging them into place to set. This seems to have done the job but there will no doubt be an additional cost. I cannot comment on the quality of the boards yet since they were only installed a week ago, but reading another comment on here, I would not be surprised if we see issues in the future.

It's called Wet Wall because Dry Warehouse was taken.

After looking deeper into Bushboard’s ownership, I was disappointed — but not surprised — to see it tied to Wilsonart. In my experience, Wilsonart has a long-standing reputation for poor service, inconsistent quality, and decisions that prioritise cheap output over customer satisfaction. Since their involvement, Bushboard feels like a hollowed-out brand: more of a warehouse for low-cost imported panels than a genuine manufacturer.
From my perspective, Bushboard is now just a label slapped onto products that bear no resemblance to what the company used to stand for. Standards feel lower, production has shifted in ways that haven’t helped quality, and the overall experience has noticeably declined. Frankly, I’m stunned that companies like Howdens and Wickes still align themselves with Wilsonart. In my opinion, it’s the kind of partnership that damages reputations rather than enhances them.
If you actually care about build quality, reliable lead times, and UK manufacturing that takes pride in its output, I’d strongly suggest choosing Worktop Fabrications or Formica instead. They’re gaining ground for a reason: stable workforce, clear processes, consistent quality, and products that don’t leave you regretting your purchase.

Bushboard - Nuance, waterproof panelling failure

Back in Apr 2023, the walls of my ensuite shower room were professionally fitted with a Bushboard, Nuance, waterproof designer surfaced wall panelling system. However, by April 2025, the surface of these panels had started to delaminate in numerous areas and continues to do so.
With the product having a 15-year guarantee, I felt confident to chase the manufacturing owners, Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces, for a resolution, but aft of seven months, they have blanked emails, failed to send an engineer to inspect the failings and offered no onsite repair, replacement or compensation.
I believe the product is not sufficiently robust for its designed intent and the hyped guarantee is of no value whatsoever. I will now end up with a significant bill to rectify my installers choice of panel.

Won't be coming back

Won't be coming back. Ordered Bushboard panels as part of flat refurb. Haven't checked within 24 hours, as the bathroom wasn't ready and I did not want to damage it, so they were flat on the floor waiting. When the contractor, who recommended Bushboard btw, felt like something wasn't right, as the panels were not flat. Thought it would stick and stay flat, but after two days, the panels were still slightly curved.
Neither Plumbing World nor Bushboard were helpful, saying the same thing
"Unfortunately, there isn’t anything that can now be done. Any issues with faults/damages need to be reported within 48 hours. If there is a manufacturing issue images need to be sent at the earliest opportunity, so this can be forwarded on."

That's fine, their rules - they keep my money, but lost a customer. No more Bushboard, no more Plumbing World for me.

Very bad experience, and fortunately isolated, as during the refurbishment I made lots of orders online elsewhere - no issues, or customer service cared about the customer.
