Do not buy from Showerwall

Do not buy from this company.

My Showerwall panels have absorbed water and expanded at the bottom, despite being sold to me on the basis that they were durable enough to withstand even full submersion.

The company has refused to honour their 10-year warranty, relying on a technicality to invalidate my claim. This is despite the correct sealant being purchased and used exactly as instructed, with additional colour-matched sealant applied on top. My bathroom installer followed the installation guidelines properly, yet my warranty has still been dismissed.

Communication has been extremely poor. I had to make numerous calls and send multiple emails just to receive a response. In fact, the only reason I got any reply at all was after threatening to take the matter to small claims court.

To make matters worse, they attempted to deflect responsibility by claiming the company had changed ownership since my purchase—something I believe should not affect their obligation to honour the warranty.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. Poor product quality, lack of accountability, and unacceptable customer service. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and its products entirely.

I have worked for B&Q for 8 years now…

I have worked for B&Q for 8 years now and have recently become the showrooms project coordinator. Whilst getting to grips with the role i have faced a few challenges and needed some products urgently for installations. Zara Vella has been absolutely outstanding in helping me not only obtain the correct items but also assisting with faster delivery for our customers. Her responses are fast when i have emailed and even checked in with me to see if a delivery she sorted for me had arrived. We really do need more people like Zara who clearly goes above and beyond to deliver the best customer experience

Amazing service

Big shout out to Zara who not only fixed our error in ordering too late but at 6.00pm advised factory had printed out acrylic panels that day and hurried delivery to us even though we'd said we would collect. Thank you. And the panels are amazing.

Awful awful company

Awful awful company,

Majority of orders come with warped panels or bad joins. Warranty is utterly useless. Stock answer is “installation Error” they have hundred of bad reviews but they get them removed. Notice their google reviews have vanished??

This company is a total con

This company is a total con. We spent a significant amount on acrylic wall panels. They took over two months to be manufactured despite being given a max 3 week lead time. Despite purchasing all their materials and following their installation instructions the panels have not stuck and are warping. Naturally trying to call them and email them for advice has resulted in no response. Do not use them, it has been an expensive mistake.

Warning do not order acrylic panels

Bought 4 acrylic shower panels and the company’s adhesive and joint sealant - which you have to use to get the warranty.

Installed the first panel and white shows through as it turned out they had sent adhesive for laminate panels not acrylic. Even though I ordered the correct adhesive.

They say it’s a picking error at their factory but will not refund me for the panels which cost £2,500 and are patterned so need to match up. I am also out of pocket for paying an installer for a day even though they could not complete the work.

Ignored my emails and refused to speak to me on the phone. I will go down the small claims route.

Warning this product is not fit for purpose.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I have been waiting over SIX MONTHS for a home visit to inspect a damaged shower wall panel. The supplier has been chasing my complaint up for months with no response from the company. It should be an easy answer - either they're prepared to come for a visit or they're not, in which case I can claim on my home insurance. But with no response I'm stuck in limbo with a faulty product. Very annoyed at the poor customer service.

Showerwall panels manfactured by IDS

I have used IDS in Leeds before for previous worktops for various companies i have worked for and not had any problems. I got some showerwall panels from them (manufactured by them) These were delivered by them to my home, as this was 06:45 in the morning i unloaded them from the truck and took them upstairs and laid them flat on the bedroom floor in their cardboard packaging as it says to do. As i had problems with other items for the refurb of my ensuite (nothing to do with IDS) the panels stayed where they were flat on the floor in their packaging to prevent any damage to them. When we opened them to start cutting and fitting them we discovered that the big 1200mm wide was quite badly bowed and the 2 900mm ones both had slight bows in them. I rang IDS and spoke to them and was advised that we had only 48hrs to of reported any problems we had to them, as this was nearly £700 worth of stuff i wasnt happy with this so asked to speak to the manager. The manager said as this was approx 2 weeks ago when we took delivery of this it was not their problem and it should of been reported before now, i explained what had gone on and that during the delay these had been stored exactly how they said to do but left unopened to protect them from damage. I know this is what everyone would say if they stored them correctly or not but if they wouldnt sort a problem with them before they were fitted and stored how they say to then what help would they be a few yrs in if i had a problem (30yrs warranty) and to top it all off i was chargered £16 for the premium phone call.

You get what you pay for!

Had previously ordered a number of samples with shower wall annd anfter finally deciding on the colours, ordered through one of their suppliers (Rubberduck bathrooms) who were very helpful in finding out availability of the chosen colours.
Very pleased with the product, delivery was quick and the panels look fantastic! I guess you get what you pay for. There are plenty of cheaper options out there but nothing comes close to the quality and durability of shower wall

Shower panels

I ordered panels through one of their suppliers. The 6 weeks it should have taken turned in to 8-9 weeks. The panels are pretty but def not worth the hassle which I had to take to keep chasing the company up.

My panels arrived warped and damaged as…

My panels arrived warped and damaged as were all the fittings. Ok these things happen. However, the company refused to collect or replace or refund. Said they were too busy with Black Friday. Then is was a backlog of orders. In the meantime my tiny cottage was filled with these huge panels posing a fall threat to this old lady. As soon as I was permitted by the credit card company to submit a claim it was sorted and the panels collected. This company showed 100% contempt for their customers, please be careful.
