The first member of staff I spoke to was extremely courteous and helpful.
But then I was passed on to "a manager" with the specific instruction that I should have my bills to hand.
Whilst I understand it is essential to have my usage ready (which I instinctively do!!), I thought their insistence about bills was most rude; the first question the manager asked me was "do you have your bills ready?"
This was about the fourth time I had been asked, which to me suggested that they didn't want me to waste "THEIR" time!!
Having been given a quote I was asked if I was ready to proceed and I said I wanted to do a bit more research.
I was immediately told I didn't need to as they had searched 50 suppliers for me!!!!
That said, their price was definitely not the cheapest!!!
They said they could look further for me and call me back the next day. The next day I was given a better price but still not the best I had found.
They said they could look into it further and try and get me a better quote, and again would I be prepared to sign up immediately!!!
By this point I had had enough.
Altogether a very pushy experience with the emphasis clearly on their sales targets and not on the customers interests.
If you like a hard sell and are prepared to trust a quote without doing your own homework then this is probably your cup of tea.
