1 start is still good for this scam company. Always stay away from this ripping off online website. You can easily register the name directly from Asic website and pay 3 times less.

Scam they want $120 for yearly business…
Scam they want $120 for yearly business name subscription but if you go direct to ASIC website its only $37!
And don't fall for any good reviews for them they are not true
Don't fall for this sham like I did
Sham, I am going to make a complaint to NSW Fair Trading and you should too
$199 for renewal when ASIC charges $85…
$199 for renewal when ASIC charges $85 for a 3 year online renewal.
Called to cancel 17 minutes after purchase and there was a $50 admin fee to be deducted, no longer can I renew by name with ASIC online, and further issues.
Absolute nightmare. Terrible Customer Service. Do not use!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
If you want to pay more money for a business name registration and go through a process more laborious than just using ASIC Connect yourself you should use this sham of a company. You'll also have the displeasure of paying for auto renewal that never happens, a complete lack of responsibility and the potential for having your business name cancelled because you trusted their auto renewal process to take care of deadlines. Not only did our business name get cancelled, it was reregistered by someone else and is now no longer available to us. Their response.....register another name with a variation. What a complete joke! Do yourself a favour and use ASIC Connect....I'm in the process of making a formal complain to ACCC about businessname.com.au
I got tricked into using this…
I got tricked into using this "service"!!! When I clicked on the "Pay now - renewal" link in ASIC's renewal emailed notice, it took me to their website - heaven knows how that happened, because both ASIC and these tricksters deny that it is possible to "hack" into a link! I know I should've been more vigilant and investigate this business, but was in a hurry and just assumed that it was the new or preferred ASIC service provider. Paid the exorbitant fee and anxiously had to wait a MONTH, instead of 5 days to get confirmation that my business name had been renewed - that's how long it took them to forward to ASIC the mere $36 of the $139 fee! I have reported this breach of privacy and trust to ASIC. User Be Aware!!
If I could give a zero I would
If I could give a zero I would. I paid this company to register my business in 2018 and they didn't do it. I found out my name was registered by someone else 2 months ago and I contacted them They claim to have emailed me for my TFN. One email. Never contacted me again but took my money.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.
I paid $299 for three years – found out it's only $85 for three years when you register for ASIC.
Of course they won't answer the phone.
Tuckfards... I don't know how they get away with it.
I would give 0 star if this is…
I would give 0 star if this is possible. The most unprofessional and arrogant people I ever dealt with . I’ve “renewed” my business name with this “ company “ back in 2016 for 3 years and paid $199 / got the invoice / to find that 3 years later in 2019 that my business name has never been renewed !!! What a joke ?! I called the Asic and they confirmed that my business name has expired in April 2016 and hasn’t been renewed since then . I rang the Honcho which is the same business, just different trading name “ businessname.com.au” and asked how this is possible and the guy said that everything is done properly at their end didn’t listen at all what I’m trying to tell him. Stay away from this morons , they are truly liars and only care about to take your money and to charge you over 200% of what ASIC charge for the same service .
This is a con
I have just received a renewal notice from this organisation for a name I never owned. The name was used on a website only. I purchased the domain name only. If it has a Queensland base it is automatically suspect in my eyes.
this company is a scam
this company is a scam. So I’ve been ripped off. Thought I’d go through these guys to make it easier.
I’ve requested a business name search and domain name
Registration. They’ve done the business name but haven’t done the domain name. They have my money. They don’t respond to emails or phone calls and hang up on me even when I’m being polite. Scam
Pathological lying (also called…
Pathological lying (also called pseudologia fantastica and mythomania) is a behavior of habitual or compulsive lying. It was first described in the medical literature in 1891 by Anton Delbrueck.
THIS COMPANY IS THE TRUE DEFINITION OF LIAR AS PER ABOVE.
Complete and utter thieves
Complete and utter thieves. Do not fall for this scam, somehow this company can charge more then double the fees to register a business name without informing you of their huge mark up. When they do register your business they put their email address on it so you have to pay their exorbitant fees to re-register. Go direct through ASIC, do not give these thieves a cent.
Tricked!
Tricked!
Charge way more then government official website!
How does the ato allow this?
Avoid unless you want to pay more than double!!
Avoid these guys and purchase directly from the asic.gov.au website. These guys push a 3 year renewal for $200 it's only $89 on the ASIC website. Sneaky and unethical and pray on those who have minimal knowledge. The government should step in and put and end to these sharks.
Zero Stars
Zero Stars. When your renewal comes around they will neglect to forward you the payment details to stop your business name from being cancelled. Not to mention that they charge twice as much as doing it yourself through ASIC Connect.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SLACKERS...
RIP OFF!
RIP OFF!! Register your Business name with ASIC and you will save more than half of what you'll pay with BusinnessName.com.
This company charges a large amount of …
This company charges a large amount of money for 3 years and claims they are the same as Asic . To register your business name for 3 years for only $82.00 AUD register with Australia's government site with Asic . Go to Asic connect . Asic is government this is a private company that falsely claimed to me today to be the same as Asic .
A rip off
Clicking on the BusinessName.com.au website cost me more than 200% to become registered than it would have if I had gone direct to ASIC website.
