My honest thoughts on the alarm clock. Absolute codswallop of a product. Constantly updating, connecting and rarely ever working. I still can't work out why the product is so complicated to operate when it's, essentially, a two tone alarm clock with light. Avoid.

I bought the company’s clock as a Christmas present for my son in December 2025. A subscription was added at checkout which I didn’t see and wasn’t aware of. This feels extremely fraudulent to me. Why should I have to pay attention to something that isn’t necessary. If the subscription is “optional” as I was told by email, then why add it to the cart in the first place? Let me choose to add a subscription, don’t add it to my cart automatically. The company is refusing to refund the subscription cost. I found the customer service to be AI generated and patronizing. It was a response generated purely to say “sorry, we canceled the subscription, have a nice day”. Nothing else we can do for you. That is not a solution. I want a live customer service representative to respond to my issues.
Update: Once I responded by email that I would write a review on Trust Pilot, Google and anywhere else, suddenly all of the charges were refunded. As such, I will upgrade my rating to 3 stars from 1 star, but, I shouldn’t have to mention writing a bad review for them to take the correct action. Fix this issue on your website.

The support people responded very quickly to my questions, even though it was weekend. They had multiple follow-ups just to make sure things were working correctly. Really superior customer service!
On the other hand, all of the manuals and FAQs that I saw assumed you could get to the setting menu, but never explained specifically how to get to the setting menu (at least not that I saw). The support folks explained it perfectly.

After a rocky start of not being able to reach anyone at Loftie, the issue was settled efficiently and quickly once I made contact with a person. They were very understanding and helpful. Now everyone is happy.

Customer service was very fast. Initially it's an AI bot that responds to my ticket but it's quickly passed off to a human once it cannot resolve my issue.

Two things are always important to me in a product; first is the quality of the product. The design, materials, functionality, simplicity to use, and does it actually work? Second is the service that the company offers for the product it built and sold. I know AI is getting better and better (and I have been surprised at times how good it has gotten) but service has for me to do with standing behind what I bought and being eager to help me learn how to use it. Also, if I am having trouble figuring it out someone is reasonably easy to get in touch with and helps me. I am a long long long time user of the Loftie Clock. My family and friends when I first got it reacted with; “don’t you have an iPhone?” “Why would you spend your hard earned money on an………. Alarm……. Clock??” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Back to first getting one. I don’t remember exact details, but I get into bed, I’m really tired, and something needs to update before it can continue to work. First thought? I’m too tired for this, where’s my phone? As I said I don’t remember exact details but Loftie must have known this exact thing was going to happen to enough of their customers that they did something in the app that when I opened it it sort of fixed itself and in no time it worked again and has kept on working since. I have since gone on and bought the Loftie Lamp!

I really like the Loftie clock and was super bummed when mine started to have issues. The support team was easy to work with and very helpful in troubleshooting the issues and ultimately getting me set up with a replacement product.

Luckily for me, Nikki was on hand to guide me through several steps to try to resolve the problem, keeping me informed of progress and when we exhausted our attempts to fix the problem I was offered a replacement which I am very happy to receive. First off, I LOVE my Loftie clock! I bought 2 more for my son and daughter each of whom love them just as much as me. Fantastic quality, variety of sounds to fall asleep to, wake-up to, etc. I had initially signed up for their Loftie Rest feature but found that I wasn't using it at all. I tried to cancel the subscription through the app but kept getting an error message. I hit Contact Us in the app and sent an email requesting to cancel. I received a response within 10 minutes with clear, helpful instructions to locate my order # which they needed to cancel Loftie Rest for me. Super easy, super fast. Top-notch customer service!
