Great price and service

Great price and service, and what's impressed me even more is the service. I accidentally used all my data during the night, and was a bit confused when the service did not work. I sent an email and got a really quick answer, and what's more, the internet was working even when I used all my data, but at a very low speed. Definitely, that's now my favourite service for travelling abroad. Thanks, guys, keep going!

Traveled to US
Sim wouldn’t activate on the requested day. they gave some rubbish excuse and wouldn’t extend it by that day so less than I paid for.
There are plenty of other providers I have used that work better.

Don’t use it in India

Avoid this eSIM for India. I used this service from March 5th to 19th and had a consistently terrible experience. The reception was unreliable, often cutting out entirely for no reason, and I never once picked up a 5G signal. Even after contacting customer support, the issues remained unresolved. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Vietnam eSIM with "a local number - incoming SMS only"

I purchased an eSIM for Vietnam that was advertised as having 'a local number -incoming SMS only'. Objectively speaking, the SMS function was advertised as its primary feature.
It also stated, 'SMS at no extra cost and is useful for registering with services like Grab.'
Despite the statements, my registeration for most local apps, including the ride-hailing apps, because I couldn't receive a verification code via SMS.
This can be perceived as deceptive behavior and a huge lack of consideration for users.
The first operator unilaterally refused, saying 'unable to assist', without even investigating my problem.
The next operator took some time to understand it correctly, but finally admitted there were the errors on their website, stating, "Our esim can not be used for registration and we'll revise it" and issued a full refund.
I acknowledged this is a sincere response to the fact that you sell the products with the incomplete function that cannot be used for authentication and failed to properly inform users of this fact.

We would like to clarify an important point regarding “local number with incoming SMS”:

While the eSIM does support receiving standard SMS, verification (OTP) messages from certain platforms — such as ride-hailing apps, banks, Google, or WhatsApp — are not guaranteed. This is due to platform-level restrictions, not the SMS capability itself.

In many countries, especially in Southeast Asia, app providers apply strict filtering rules for verification messages. Numbers that are not tied to full local identity registration (KYC) or that are used in roaming/data eSIM scenarios may be blocked or deprioritized for OTP delivery. This is part of broader anti-fraud and compliance measures implemented by those platforms.

We understand this can be confusing, especially when SMS is mentioned as a feature. To avoid misunderstanding, we are continuously improving how we present this limitation more clearly on our product pages.

We’re also sorry for the inconsistency in support you experienced — that is not the standard we aim for.

Simply did not work

Simply did not work. Although the plan I bought for Vietnam was inexpensive and installation was easy, my phone kept telling me I was offline. I finally gave up, deleted it, and bought a similar plan from a competitor. I was online in minutes. Would not buy again!!

Worked flawlessly in the five countries…

Worked flawlessly in the five countries we visited. When it did not work in one country, they were easy to contact, easy to work with. Turned out it was my error as that country was not included in the plan. My wife used another well know esims and that did not work well at all. Next time, we will both use ByteSim
