Got my car back and someone had stolen my cheap sunglasses and rooted through my things.
Why did you go through all my stuff?
The repair wasn’t done when they said it was. They hadn’t done most of the work.
The GM came out and tried to gaslight me, telling me over and over that I had regular wear and tear that didn’t involve my insurance claim. Wrong.
Suspiciously, they cracked the first windshield they tried to install and this seems to me like an attempt to recoup that lost money.
I had to wait another two weeks for my car after the GM’s attempt to brush me off.
The guy who managed my repair was very nice and I have nothing bad to say about him, just the GM and whoever went through all my stuff.
In the end, my car looks fixed now - but I can’t recommend this shop.
RIP OFF on SIMPLE JOB
These people tried to charge my elderly mother with a Cadillac over $1,000 for a simple job. She left and went to another Reputable Collision place and they could do the job for $150 and this place has been in business for decades before CALIBER was even a thing. They see a woman and she had a stroke not gonna get into details so she can't communicate right so they take advantage. Not on my watch might wanna be careful about how you conduct business cause us Forecon USMC combat vets don't play that B$.
This was my second experience with…
This was my second experience with Caliber Collision on Jingle Bell Lane in Lexington, KY. I have to say they are awesome! From the front desk to Terry, my coordinator to the expert staff that did the repairs; they were excellent. I was told up front everything that was going to happen, I was sent texts throughout the process with updates and even when I came in a bit too early to pick up the vehicle, they were so efficient and were there to make me feel comfortable and made sure I was taken care of. They provide excellent communications and service. Hope I don't need them again, but if I do, they are my only choice.
Body work and sensor repair to Lexus after accident
Our car was pushed from the side by a semi truck while we were on our way from VA to ME. The initial undercarriage repairs were done by a dealer in PA. The body work and repair of the sensors was done by Caliper. Our experience was amazing thanks to service advisor Jamie Grier. We have used Caliper a few times in the past and the work has always been 5 star.
Communication horrible
Communication was the problem I faced. I called (california call center) and was told the local supervisor would call me back - he didn't. I called back the next day and they gave me his number. I was able to talk with him, but he told me to call the call center. The agent at the call center seemed nice and we proceeded with the process, including calling my insurance company. Unfortunately, my insurance company uses a third party company for RV windshields, they are Eastern time zone, and already closed for the day. The Caliper collision call center employee said she call me back the next day. It didn't happen, she had taken the day off. All told - It took a FULL week to START the claim, do to Caliper collision employees. Plus another week by the third party processor (some delays may have been Caliper collision fault with submitting information). Thus the windshield couldn't be replaced until after my vacation, once you factor in the additional two weeks to get the windshield.
The replacement went well and looks good. However, because it was a RV, they wanted to do the replacement at their collision shop. Upon pickup, I was told they don't take payments there (the glass division acts like a separate company). No email was sent requesting payment, although I did get a receipt (?). The next day the local glass supervisor texted me asking for payment thru the link he sent, but I never got it. I finally asked him to email it to me, which he did. This was the WORST payment system I have ever dealt with, it just doesn't work like you would expect it to. I was finally able to pay, but what a pain.
I do not recommend using Caliper collision for an RV.
Minor scrape/dent = 14-day repair.
My sports car Mercedes was hit in a local parking lot
My sports car Mercedes was hit in a parking lot. No idea who did it. I brought it to a few local shops to get an idea of the cost and time to have it repaired. Caliber gave me a fair price and a short time to get it done.
They also noted a few other small dings and scratches.
Angello was very helpful and informative and they were all very friendly, so I left the car with them. They actually finished in just a few days, and they even fixed the other small dings at no additional cost. They kept me informed on progress and within a few days all was done. The car looks like new and their front desk service was very helpful and friendly. Great job Caliber.
Definitely bad
Definitely bad! My truck was struck by another car and the insurance handling the matter recommended Caliper. Got my truck back with a ton of scratches and damage to the rear view mirror on the opposite side of the collision. They tried to buff out all the damage. Honestly seems like someone decided to take the truck on a joy ride in the woods. AVIOD this place!!
The team at the Frankford Ave location
The team at the Frankford Ave location, is truly heaven sent! Thank you, gentlemen, for going over and beyond measure! My convertible mini is appreciative as well!!!
DO NOT USE!
Went to have repairs done at the shop at 4080 Rev Drive in Cincinnati that was recommended by Geico. Upon pickup of the vehicle, the OEM Reader was stuck in the car, the horn did not work, and the bumper was sticking in the driveway. Upon family emergency, I had to leave the vehicle and was unable to bring it to the shop promptly. I did call and spoke with the manager over the phone at the time however, had to deal with an estate and death in the family. Upon returning, I brought the car in, granted, it was 4 months of a timeframe, but I still expected them to bolt back in the bumper. I tried to explain to them that I already told them about the bolts and they refused to fix them. The paint is coming off where they repaired. The front desk clerk was beyond rude and told me to stop yelling at her when all I did was try to explain the situation. Geico was of course no help either. I do not recommend anyone take any vehicle for repairs. They are useless and did a horrible job.
Excellent work and customer care

Excellent Service
Prompt, expert, courteous, and reasonably priced service. Work was performed by Marcus and Iran. I've used this shop 3 times over the years and continue to recommend it highly.
This place is amazing
This place is amazing. The staff is very professional and friendly. The general manager Trevor and his staff was so helpful. They explained all that needed to be done. I was there for less than 30mins. and the job was done. I can't thank you all enough for such a fine job. Would I do business with Caliber Collision again-Absolutely / 100%

WOW! This is the place to go if you have to get your vehicle fixed! When I went in to drop off my car there were several people there to help me check in. They offered coffee or water and told me to let them know if I needed anything while I sat in the lobby.
The manager, Donald Krock, was constantly asking me about my car and letting me know the progress on the repair.
And the job was done very well. This was a great experience and much better than other shops and other Caliber Collision shops.
If you’re in an accident, (remember it is your right to have your vehicle taken anywhere you want to) have them take your vehicle to:

Terrible quality, even worse customer service
Took my wife's car in for some fairly simple body work and paint (Calibers in Blacksburg VA). When they told us it was ready I was shocked to see the terrible body work and paint job. Pinholes in the bondo, uneven surface, lots of solvent pop and trash in the paint. The service writer who wrote up the car was quite rude (especially to my wife, which I cannot tolerate) but finally admitted that they did a terrible job and said they'd do it completely over. He then reported to our insurance company that the work was quite satisfactory, but that we had rejected it and "demanded" they redo it. (I cannot tolerate such blatant lies.) Two weeks later they told us it was ready. We were out of town so went to pick it up a few days later ... only to find that it was NOT finished. So when we finally picked it up, we were again shocked to realize that the body work was EVEN WORSE than before, they had introduced a NEW DENT to the side of the car, and the paint was uneven and DOES NOT MATCH the original. We are so disgusted we will never do business with them again and will recommend to our insurance that they remove Caliber from their list of approved body shops. Our daughter works for another national insurance company, and we're asking them to do the same.

The absolute WORST experience
I took my Audi to Caliber Collision in Seaside, CA. It was the absolute WORST experience. My car repair was originally supposed to take 2 weeks. I dropped it off the second week in February and PICKED IT UP TODAY, JUNE 20th. They tried to have me pick it up in March but they had completed a BOTCHED paint job, there were paint splatters inside of my car...it literally looked like a two year old had painted my car....not only that, but they replaced my back window shield with a warped one, I still had cracks and scratches all over my car that were not repaired. I sent pictures of their "completed" job to my insurance company and was told the next day to bring it back in and they would basically start the entire job all over again. While the status of the paint job and repairs was significantly better when I picked up my car today (almost 4 months later), I am still very upset with the mistakes and sloppy work, including a clear spray that they put on the outside of my car, but left the doors open while spraying, and now the console is covered with a dull residue that will not come off. There are still paint splatters and dry paint drops throughout the exterior of my car as well as unrepaired dents and scratches. While I have been very patient and accommodating, I was told today that they will not fix anything else and I will need to file a new insurance claim and take it somewhere else to clean up their messes. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP TO ANYONE...EVER. On a positive note, Ramon was respectful and tried to get get my car cleaned up, but I just do not believe they have qualified workers, especially when it comes to painting and details.
Worst place! Avoid!!!!
I went to pick up my car for the 2nd time. It looks much better. They wanted me to sign saying I was given notice and approved increase in estimate. I balked bc no one told me and I don't believe my insurance should have to pay for more when they had sufficient time to do the job. I talked to Amador and Larry and was fine not signing. I was not happy dealing with both locations of Caliber. 190th tried to tell me that the inability to close the sunroof was normal when I returned it the first time. Idk if it's because I'm a woman but I felt like no urgency or accuracy was involved. My car was at C from Mid March until Last week of May before they decided to see if I would take the car without the new headliner. During this time, they did the bare minimum. The car was given back to me in such a joke of a state (wavy lines, dents, missing screws, scratches, items not replaced, dirt, sunroof stuck). The car went back to C on May 28. I got it back today June 20. I've been paying for rental cars this whole time. I could have saved so much money if the process in their end was better. I would not recommend Caliber to anyone. And noticed my car is making weird noises from the engine so I need to have it sent back AGAIN!
